Zeebop by the Sea

Seaside restaurant which is quite big. Good ambience. White sand, sea breeze and candle light sets the mood for the evening. Great place for family gatherings. Food is average although the prices are on the higher side. Service is quick considering the number of customers. Sea food lovers will like this place a lot.

Zeebop is one of the places with beautiful ambiance. Our go to place when we have visitors from outside India. Their hospitality is very good . The food is good too .

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of dining at Zeebop and try out their Beef Steak. Well it was truly exceptional!!! The first bite was like a Symphony of textures and tastes. The beef was very tender and the mushroom sause was excellent and full of rich flavours. It was very clear to me that the chef had taken great care in selecting and preparing this for me. What impressed me most was the tenderness of the steak. It was cooked to ultimate perfection and the meat just melted in my mouth. The flavours were rich and beefy, with just the right amount of seasoning. The service at Zeebop was also top-notch. My server was friendly and ever smiling. The atmosphere was excellent. Right in front of a well maintained private beach. The ambiance was very impressive. I had their Goan cashew fenny and it was fine too. Overall, I would highly recommend the beef steak with mushroom sauce and to go with that some lovely Cashew fenny. I definitely would return to try out some more dishes at Zeebop.

What a beautiful restaurant, serving utterly delicious food! It’s on the seafront so you get a gorgeous view. My partner and I came to stay in Majorda for a week and we came here twice. But, onto the food. Soft, perfectly seasoned and cooked paneer. THE best crab (cooked in garlic butter) that I’ve ever had in my life — the freshest of the fresh. The poppadum prawn starter is utterly delectable. The staff are attentive and not at all intrusive. I struck up a great conversation with a Bengali staff member who was very knowledgeable about the fisherman’s trade - enjoyed that conversation. Zeebop is an institution and they once had thousands of excellent reviews but, as I understand it, there has been a glitch with Google and they lost a lot of their reviews which is a huge shame. They’re trying to fix it. (The review that has given one-star [Franciso someone] seems very suspect to me given that it’s such a WILDLY different experience to that which every other diner that’s left a review has had. It could very well be someone attempting to throw the ratings out. It really makes no sense.) Don’t miss this restaurant!

We have a official party at Zeebop . It is a beautiful sea facing restaurant. It has a very good & relaxing vibe. You can easily go to the sea for a dip and come and change in the washroom. The place is very well lit. This is one of the best place to visit if you are in South Goa.
