Zeffirellis

Great restaurant. Absolutely loved the food here, and the overall experience was great. Enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back again later that week. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodated the dietry requirements of the group, pointing out the dishes that were suitable and offering to adjust dishes where possible. I would recommend their pasta dishes! The next time we're in the area, i'll be returning to try one of their pizzas!

We booked Zeffirellis for a school friends reunion of nine people and we were not disappointed. The customer experience from reception to service of food was excellent. The food was excellent, hot, well cooked and served with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would not hesitate to go there again.

Went to see the new Downton film last night after other plans fell through. We got a lovely welcome from the lady behind the bar. Nice cinema, friendly staff and good film. What more could you need.

We booked for dinner in the Jazz bar and were not disappointed by the food, the jazz trio'Just Friends ' and the ambience. Friendly, attentive staff, wonderful food beautifully presented and great cocktails. Such a lovely evening, highly recommended

Food was ok, but in my opinion, overpriced. No one came to our table to see if everything was OK, so we had to attract the attention of a waitress while going to another table, because they forgot our side order so it didn't come till the end of the meal, (taking a while so seemed to have forgotten to make it) , which was annoying and they apologised but didn't seem bothered that it came too late. Would have been a good gesture to not charge for that bit. I won't go again. didn't seem very bothered.

We visited mid day for a drink and bite to eat. We were looking for a vegan (lactose intolerant) desert for a birthday treat, which we'd struggled to find anything other than a sad flapjack elsewhere!! We were greeted by a very enthusiastic member of staff who recommended the sticky toffee pudding, which was a surprise. What a treat! A proper pudding, that still had all the flavour without the dairy. It even came with a choice of vegan ice-cream or soya pouring cream. The pudding was delicious, with a poached pear and mixed berries with it, and a sticky toffee sauce. And the ice-cream was creamy and full of flavour. The birthday boy was very happy! The restaurant itself is lovely, with a fantastic vegetarian and vegan menu, and attentive staff.

Really enjoyed our visit to Zefirellis. Lovely atmosphere and great service. The cannelloni and pesto dishes were delicious, and the kids loved their pizzas. Only downside was the halloumi with hazelnut sauce – not really my thing. Overall, a fantastic veggie spot!

I had The cream tea Loved the scone Coffee was great But …whipped cream instead of clotted ???!!!! I would have kicked off and sent fists flying but the ambiance was nice and so were the waiters I felt a bit uncivilised and savage being given whipped cream instead of clotted They unleashed an unknown beast from within me The cream tea with no clotted cream has awakened something within me I didn’t know existed I feel soooo aliiiveee It’s complete madness I’ll probably come back for dinner
