Zeffirellis

Lovely surroundings and the staff were very excellent. The food was delicious, the overall meal was far better than I expected as a confirmed carnivore. Cutlery made me laugh, just like grandma's. Overall, absolutely recommended.

I've been going to Zefferellis for well over 30 years when it was originally a small cafe with shops downstairs and I've seen how it's changed. Its a very popular place and a legend in the Lakes and is known as Zeffs. We were shown to a lovely table for four but for the two of us so plenty of room. Ordered a very nice bottle of Grillo white wine, a vegan mini Buddha bowl, vegan pear and cheese salad with hazelnut dressing to start. Mains were both vegan pasta dishes made with gluten free pasta, puttanesca and pesto with pine nuts. The food was delicious, good sized portions and the gluten free pasta was excellent. Service was very good, I didn't get our waitress's name but she was lovely. Will definitely return when next in the Lakes.

Ate lunch at Zeffirellis after reading good reviews in a local hotel. The food was fantastic and Lucy was a great host explaining Gluten free options. Everything was incredibly efficient, staff were super helpful and the food was amazing. Beetroot Buddha bowl went down well. Will definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Great restaurant. Absolutely loved the food here, and the overall experience was great. Enjoyed it so much the first time that we went back again later that week. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodated the dietry requirements of the group, pointing out the dishes that were suitable and offering to adjust dishes where possible. I would recommend their pasta dishes! The next time we're in the area, i'll be returning to try one of their pizzas!

You really won't be disappointed! The food is delicious and the staff are wonderful, polite & attentive. The atmosphere in this place is relaxing. Prices are fair, we went for lunch but the evening menus is also very good.

We booked Zeffirellis for a school friends reunion of nine people and we were not disappointed. The customer experience from reception to service of food was excellent. The food was excellent, hot, well cooked and served with a smile. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would not hesitate to go there again.

Great cinema, visited multiple times. Comfortable, good value. Highly recommended.

Whilst many others have found Zeffirellis to be a quality restaurant, I found it to be the complete opposite. Awfully slow service, overpriced beyond belief, and one of the worst pizza’s i’ve ever had in a restaurant. The pizza base was thick, doughy and of the same quality as a kebab shop pizza - greasy, made with cheap ingredients and without love. Will not be returning here.
