This was our second trip to Splash Village and we had such a great time! The lobby is so cute and the front desk stafd was very helpful everytime I had any questions. They made check-in quick and easy. When we got to our room I received a text from our concierge who advised I could come to them for help if needed so that was nice and i was able to ask them questions regarding our stay. The waterpark hours are great and we enjoyed being able to be there until night. I love that you can still enjoy the waterpark after checking out of the hotel!! I recommend the dining package so you can enjoy that yummy pizza and breadsticks! Can't wait for our next trip.

Our first time visiting and well worth it. At first I wasn't sure about the park being split but in the end I actually really liked having a smaller space to track the kids around and physical boundaries they could see. Rooms were really nice, loved the retro mini fridges and microwaves. Staff were all super helpful and kind. Definitely recommend the breakfast buffet, the food was really tasty and hot. Pastries were fresh and delicious. As long time Zehnder's restaurant patrons, it was the service, food and experience we've loved extended to another really fun experience. We can't wait to come back!!!

A Refreshing Hidden Gem for Families – A Splash Park Worth the Visit! After years of staying silent about the places I visit and the businesses I interact with, largely because of how I was raised and my culture. I’ve finally decided it’s time to start speaking up and sharing my experiences. I believe good places deserve recognition, and today I want to highlight a great splash park here in Michigan. This splash park is truly a gem for families. It’s clean, well-designed, and thoughtfully laid out so kids of all ages can enjoy the water safely and freely. The water features are engaging without being overwhelming, and there’s plenty of space for parents to relax nearby while still keeping an eye on the fun. What stood out most to me was the atmosphere: welcoming, safe, and full of joy. Staff were friendly, and everything felt well-maintained—something I truly appreciate. It’s also affordable (or even free in some cases), which makes it even better for families trying to enjoy summer without breaking the bank. If you’ve been looking for a fun, family-friendly way to cool off, I highly recommend this place. And as someone who’s just beginning to share their voice after many quiet years, I’m glad this park was one of the first I get to shine a light on.

Upon arrival, we found out that we had been upgraded to a larger room. Nice surprise! All staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. |After returning from dinner at the Zehnders restaurant downtown, we realized our grandson forgot his Detroit Lions ball cap at the restaurant. Not only did Guest Services locate the hat, they delivered it back to the hotel and to our room! Also, a T-shirt left behind at the pool was recovered at lost and found, no problem. |We were very impressed with the quality of the food and service, the cleanliness of the hotel and waterpark areas and the diligence of the lifeguard staff. |We highly recommend this hotel/waterpark and will bring our grandkids back!|Thanks Zehnders!

This was not at all what we had expected. I will say we had a dragonfly room, which is the lower end room but given the experience and the cost it was no where near worth it. The entire hotel is in need of a renovation, and at the very least minimal repairs and deep cleanings of the rooms. This place is marketed as a family entertainment location and yet the rooms are not even child proofed/child friendly. They have a microwave situated at a toddlers level and it’s just asking for accidents to happen. In addition to that, ironing board and luggage stand are beyond unnecessary at this point. The mattresses were horrible, two average adults sinking into the middle of the mattress and unable to sleep. Also no room options for one bed, which would have been helpful in providing more room for pack & play. Even taking inflation into consideration the restaurants are entirely overpriced, creepy elves on the walls and dusty dolls hanging around the trees. They boast “house made” thus and that, and it doesn’t even taste good- specifically the Caesar salad dressing. They do have fresh squeezed orange juice which did taste pretty good, but pulpy which my husband dislikes. The waterpark was the only ok thing about the place, and even the information on that could have been better. Signage, age/weight limits, entry/exit, etc. the little lazy river was nice, the toddler space could have had another little thing to keep their attention for those larger than the swings but too small for the seesaw. The map they give at check in could use better direction in coordination with signage outside. Needless to say, we won’t come back.

Only rented hospitality room... Food catered from main restaurant downtown. Food was SO GOOD. The staff were presents, attentive, and very friendly. We even had one young man use a cart to take all of our take out leftovers to our cars... He even offered without us asking!
