"A Secluded Beach at the Edge of the Desert Ras Abrouq Beach is located 50 miles west of Doha on the edge of the Ras Abrouq Reserve, which also known as Bir Zekreet. This remote, rocky beach is popular with windsurfers and campers who come for the picturesque half-moon bay and the striking limestone outcroppings that are shaped like gigantic mushrooms. Ras Abrouq is a few miles away from Film City—an abandoned film set—and close to a nature reserve where you can spot Oryx, gazelle, and deer. There are no facilities, no paved roads, no nearby gas stations, and no stores to buy water. If you're making the trek out to Ras Abrouq, bring a four-wheel drive vehicle and be sure to pack plenty of water. The things that make this beach hard to access, however, are what make it worth visiting. The place is worth a trip just for the limestone formations, the silence, and the clear water."

Have visited the beach on a desert trip. It would be much greater to visit durning winter. There weren’t many spots to get out of the 40+ degree heat. It was still a nice place to sit and have a lunch break.Nice and quite place for picnic. Can do long beach walk. Quite far from city but worth it. Beach is flat so normal car can go. You can also stay there during night times. We have enjoyed the whole night camping gazing the stars in the sky. It was a beautiful experience in lifetime.

Very awesome beach for kite surfing. The sunsets never get old to view. You can park your car and enjoy the beach. The water is shallow so you can swim across the lagoon. The kite surfing is the reason I come to this beach. It is so shallow and wide and open for all sorts of watersports

Nice & Neat beach to have an overnight stay. The beach is a clean one, seems to be shallow water. But there is nothing literally, you have to bring all the stuff you needed. Please have the courtesy to clean when you leave the beach. There is no loose soil, sedan can reach this spot without any difficulty. Happy camping.

Best place for kite surfing and parasailing. This beach located near Dukhan road.this beach has black rock and the waves are slow and water is so clear.beautiful view and best part is you can see sunset in this beach. In this beach your pet also allowed.

You can literally drive your car up the water here. But BRING YOUR WATER SHOES! This place is extremely rocky. Phenomenal sunset though. Just beware that there is NOTHING else around here. No restaurants, shops. Nothing.

Zekreet beach is not a clean one. I have noticed garbage and plastic waste on many parts of the sea shore. Water was not as clear as it should be which simply indicates that some kind of treated water or waste is present in it. However, the East West West East monuments situated towards the opposite side of the beach are recommend sites to visit. The flattered plateaus are marvelous to see on the trail to these monuments.
