Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton

My family and I had an outstanding week at the Zemi Miches Resort the week after New Years. There was a variety of dining options, all of which we enjoyed. Food was fresh and delicious with a good mix of the fruit and cuisine of the region along with some familiar favorites. My taste buds were in heaven eating the sweet pineapple with passionfruit on top! There were endless activities with options for all interests--paddle boarding, kayaking, dance classes, pilates, crafts, arcade games like bowling, pickleball, live entertainment, bingo, and just lounging on the beautiful beach and swimming in the expansive pools . There were areas that felt more quiet to lounge on the beach if that is what you enjoy and areas closer to the center point of the resort if you want to be closer to the liveliness and action. Of note, I loved starting my day at Bateys with a delightful capuccino and fresh juice, and stopping there again for an afternoon scoop of ice cream. Pistachio was my favorite! I enjoyed the crafting like bracelet making and Dominican bag painting with staff members Karen, Crismahri, Suleini. I already miss my pilates classes every morning with Coach Francisco, too. All the staff was above and beyond friendly, with Manuel taking extra care cleaning our room and Alvaro welcoming us with a tour. Our stay here was a very positive experience and a memorable vacation. I would definitely recommend and return for more fun in the sun.

The location and facilities were incredible and made us feel like we were spending 4 days in a dream world. The lobby is breathtaking, the scent program made us excited for the doors to open each time we approached the space, and the team was all so kind and helpful. Rooms and other facilities were equally amazing. Housekeeping was excellent and the Club Azure concierge team also outstanding (especially Anissette). The grounds were absolutely stunning with perfect landscaping and décor. We were happy to find a more natural location and not the typical “beach scene”. We felt truly special as Club Azure guests, with the facilities dedicated to this group really hitting the mark as special. Food and beverage options were plentiful, spaces were beautiful, and staff was kind and hospitable. We got around to pretty much every option and never felt like we were eating the same thing too often. Bartenders at the CA bars (Sergio, Beatriz, Victor) were our favorite people! They are truly the standouts on the F&B team. In my humble opinion, any room for improvement at your resort lies in restaurant F&B. The teams didn’t feel quite as polished as in other areas of the hotel. Service was a little choppy with some long waits to order or receive drinks despite restaurant not being full. All were kind however, and the food was very good. The main lobby bartenders did not deliver as excellent an experience as those in CA bars, but again all were kind and hospitable. I only mention theses things in a sincere effort to help. They didn’t detract in any serious way from our experience and I’m sure they will be great with some more time and experience.

Zemi Miches Resort is a beautiful property and, from a design standpoint, it’s truly impressive. The grounds, buildings, and overall atmosphere feel upscale and well thought out. The food was also above average for an all-inclusive resort, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the service throughout most of the resort was the biggest disappointment of the trip. Many of the staff members came across as cold and not particularly friendly. Quite often it felt like we were bothering them just by asking for a drink or any type of assistance. The only consistently positive interactions we had were with the front desk during check-in and check-out, and with the concierge when we needed help with the resort app. They were friendly, helpful, and professional. A few other staff members were noticeably rude if they didn’t understand what was being asked of them. In one instance at an à la carte restaurant, a colleague of mine was trying to order a beverage and the waiter looked at her like she was the dumbest person he’d ever seen simply because she didn’t speak Spanish. That was pretty surprising to witness from someone working in hospitality, especially in a destination that relies heavily on tourism and tips. Overall, the resort itself is beautiful and the food is good for an all-inclusive, but the service left a lot to be desired and unfortunately had a big impact on the overall experience.

Just returned from a week long luxury vacation at Zemi Miches. Our experience was top notch, from the restaurants, the buffet, the bars and pools and all the friendly and dedicated staff. We stayed in Casa 1, with the incredible Katherine taking care of our room all week with special surprises that made me smile. We especially enjoyed our time at the Azure pool and had wonderful conversations with Beatriz and Sergio. This is a higher end resort, with meals and drinks that can be basic but there are so many other options that are crafted with heart, which may take a little longer but are certainly worth the wait. If I had to mention one thing that would have been at least a little better, is that the beach and the ocean swimming were a little disappointing but the other amenities made up for this. Lots of great memories were made this past week, many thanks!

Just got back from a week at Zemi Beach House for a business vacation, and I’m honestly blown away. The resort was completely sold out for our group, yet the staff didn’t miss a beat. That alone says a lot.||The food was outstanding, every meal. Service was next level across the board. Attention to detail, genuine care, and a constant willingness to go above and beyond made the entire stay feel effortless. The landscaping deserves its own shout-out, absolutely immaculate, almost surreal. Every corner of the property felt intentional and beautifully maintained.||Zemi and ABC Supply, and many additional partners put on incredible events and activities throughout the week, all perfectly executed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for. Bell service and logistics were flawless from arrival to departure.||Special recognition goes to Yeuri, Yolando, Antonio, Guillermo, Victor, Sergio, and Francisco, just to name a few. Truly standout service. That said, the entire service team was friendly, attentive, and professional at every turn.||Perfect weather, unreal sunsets, and a setting that makes you forget what day it is. Huge thanks to everyone who made this trip unforgettable and full of forever memories.

While the resort is absolutely beautiful, I'm going to recommend extreme caution. I don't like complaining and never do negative reviews but some things need to be said. First things first, after only a 2 night stay I became infected with Salmonella. I'm certain it was from the cold, basically raw scrambled eggs being served at the breakfast buffet. I was laid up with this since arriving back home to the U.S., the sickest I've ever been for a full 7 days. Now for a few more little things. Of the 2 nights we were there, our tv in the room didn't work into midday the following day. We had maintenance guys, that spoke zero English, in for multiple hours at a time, night and day, making it hard to get comfortable in our room. They did eventually get it going in the afternoon of our second day. The second night we dined at the sports bar, as all other restaurants were booked up (apparently make reservations before you arrive to the resort). It took 1 hour for someone to come take our order. They said they were very busy but there were still quite a few empty tables. After ordering, our food was delivered to the wrong table so they had to take it all back to the kitchen, having us wait another 30 minutes for our food. After that the food was good, and seemed fully cooked. We had originally booked 6 nights with points as they told us that they do not accept Hilton Free Night Certificates, at least not for our stay, which is odd for a resort under the Hilton umbrella. At check in, they tried to charge us $200 per night for anyone above 1 person per room when paying with points so be careful. After talking with Hilton Honor Diamond representatives, they agreed that we should not have had to pay this charge and convinced the resort to refund our $1,200 although it took weeks. Every Hilton Honor Diamond rep I've spoken with says that points should cover everyone in the room as long as its at or under the rooms rated occupancy, regardless if it is all inclusive or not. We had to come home early for something that came up back home so we checked out after only 2 nights and its been a journey to get unused points and money back. That being said, I am really glad we were able to get home before my infection kicked in as it would have been miserable to try getting home like that. The service and fact I got Salmonella makes it tough to recommend to anyone. While the resort is beautiful, and I'd consider giving it a second chance someday, they have a lot of work to do in regards to said service.

We loved our entire stay here at Zemi Miches but it was made extra special by Yeuri and his water exercise things he did never seen anything like that before and it was so much fun. The entertainment event shows were amazing and Superman! The SuperBowl party was spectacular! We had not planned on watching the whole thing but it was so well done that we stayed the whole time! Superman always came by to let us know about all the great workshops they had. We were able to make cigars, paint figurines and pottery. It’s so special to have these keepsakes to take back home. This resort is great for families with and without kids. We will definitely return back here and we sure hope Superman will be here when we do.

I absolutely love the overall feel of this resort. From the moment you arrive, there’s a sense of warmth and understated luxury that really sets the tone for the entire stay. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy every moment. The staff truly make the experience even better. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests and want you to have the best possible experience. We’ve really been enjoying our time here and appreciate everything the resort has to offer. The only downside for me personally is the beach. I’m a huge beach person, so this was something I noticed right away. If you’re someone who mainly comes on vacation for long beach days and swimming in the ocean, this may not be the ideal spot. The shoreline can be quite rocky and a bit slimy in areas, and there were quite a few jellyfish in the water during our stay. That said, there is a small workaround. If you walk all the way to the right when you enter the beach area, there’s a small sandy section near a little island where the water is nicer and you can swim. Just keep in mind there isn’t a lifeguard stationed there, so you do need to be mindful and use your own judgment. If you’re more of a pool person, you’ll probably have an amazing time here. The pools are beautiful and well maintained, but they do fill up quickly in the morning, likely because many guests choose the pool over the ocean. If you want a good spot, it’s definitely worth getting up a little earlier to claim your chairs for the day. The food has been fantastic. Honestly, it’s a solid 10 out of 10 in my opinion. There’s a great variety, everything we’ve tried has been delicious, and the quality has really impressed us. As for the beach, I’m not sure if there are any plans for improvements in the future, but it would definitely make this place even more incredible if that area was enhanced over time. Regardless, we’ve still had a wonderful stay and there are so many things about this resort to love.
