Zenden Hotel Maastricht

A Hotel beyond Chain Hotels with a warm welcome. Housekeeping Team could be more friendly and could more take note at a stay of 3 Nights. For older people with a light disabled walking, some rooms are not recommandable, especially with luggage upwards the old Stairs. No Lift is available. If you travel by car, theQ-Park is only a 50 meters walk, but for 3 days 85€ is Like you have buyed the parking space for nearly a Month.

The apartment itself we had within Zenden Hotel was satisfactory but improvements could be made. ||1:- The shower area had no shelving to put any toiletries, everything had to go on the shower base, not hygienic. There was not a proper towel rail. ||2:- The windows did not appear to be secure sufficiently upon opening, the stay catch was not functioning properly, so if anyone was not careful they could fall out onto the ground below, not a good potential scenario. NOTE :- Neither of these items were reported to the staff, due to their response noted below.||3:- Having been visiting the Netherlands for some forty years we were aware of their type of stairs, which can be dangerous it not traversed with care. We were asked if there was anything the staff could help with so, we asked for someone to take up our luggage, we were just laughed at!!! There was nobody to help from the Hotel, (But a very kind male Hairdresser with premises next to the apartment entrance helped with our luggage, when we arrived) but it was still a struggle, nobody to help us upon our departure especially with one of us having a bad back and the other person although generally fit was 80yrs. It was not a good experience.

We enjoyed our stay in ‘zenden, studio 1’. We have stayed here a few times before. It is an excellent starting point for a city trip to Maastricht. When you travel by car there is a (payed) parking garage nearby. Maastricht has a lot of cafés and restaurants in every style.

Hi|Loved our break in Maaestricht and of our highlight was Andre’ concert. However felt it was important to feed back our disappointment of quality of rooms and our stay. First of all fridge was not in working order for 3 days, no gesture of offering bottles of cooled water as temperature was so hot. On asking (day2 if we could put water in one of fridges in foyer we were told okay but not normal procedure) Cleanliness of room very poor. Area between two sinks was not cleaned for the 4 days we were there as toothpaste marks were not removed. Also black small table was not cleaned as still sticky day we left. Drinking glasses also were not cleaned whole break and shower head dirty. Very poor for the cost we were charged for hotel. We have stayed in much grander hotel's for much cheaper. Only positive note was staff on reception were lovely and very helpful. Thank you Albara and Joyce. We did love Maastricht as beautiful city but sadly let down by the standard of Zenden Hotel.

We booked two rooms and were quite satisfied with our stay. Although one room didn’t have air conditioning, a fan was provided, which made it manageable. The hotel’s location near the city center was very convenient and made it easy for us to explore and travel around the city. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights and the studio was functional and simple. It was clean and the location is very good. Deducting one star because the AI concierge leaves much to be desired. The hotel staff leave at 15:00 which is somewhat odd for a hotel.

Great place to stay in if you find yourself in Maastricht. I have stayed there many times since 2028, and I have always been extremely happy!

The location of the studio was fantastic - quiet, but extremely central (restaurants and bars around the corner). It was very modern and tidy; the service of the personell was really great. The studio even had a small terrace with a garden. ||Price-service-ratio was REALLY good!||We enjoyed our stay there very much and can only recommend it to anyone!||Dit vacancie was heel loek. Graag nog eens.

I came here a few years ago on my first trip to Maastrich. I am a big fan of spending time in Limburg when I need to take a break from Amsterdam. I would strongly suggest to travelers to stop through this wonderful little city. I adored the hotel, it was so cosy and convenient. Maastricht is one of my favourite little places to get away in the Netherlands. This wonderful little cathedral city has so much culture and history, it's a must visit! A great place to getaway with your lover for the weekend or to shop until you drop with your girlfriends. I am Catholic, so I enjoyed seeing the saints placed everywhere.The best time to go is in spring or summer, so you can enjoy wondering through the city on foot or bike.
