A fabulous hotel, great room, clean, beautifully designed, exceptional service everywhere (reception, bar, breakfast) in a great location. Convenient parking space, everything is just perfect here. I haven't found such a great hotel for a long time. We will always come back here if we travel to Valladolid.

We stayed her recently while visiting our daughter at the University. Perfect location next to the Cathedral. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. we enjoyed the option to chrome cast from our phone to the room TV, as there were no English Speaking channels. Lovely breakfast with very pleasant staff, we enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard and enjoying a drink from the bar. The reception staff very helpful and most pleasant, arranging taxis and helping us. There are loads of bars and restaurants within a short walk, the city is so beautiful. Loved our stay here!

The worst experience in an hotel...Very rude reservation representative called Rania she canceled my reservation without asking her to do that.. Only because I needed a clarification about the payment condition..because she changed payment method mentioned on the online reservation as they allowed you to pay at hotel... But this Rania decided suddenly that we have to pay 50% of the total amount before arrival by about 3 weeks through bank transfer... And when asking her about the posibility of paying by bank card she canceled the reservation... Rude person. Never reserve directly through the hotel. Reserve online, to secure your reservation so they won't be able to cancel it easily.

Beautiful city, hotel is okay, nice rooms but beware of the parking arrangements which are terrifying

Best location, great service and super nice rooms. This hotel is located right next to the cathedral and in the university square, therefore is surrounded by both the lively student area and the historical city center. With plenty of places to eat and drink just 1 minute distance. We were upgraded to the Junior suite and I am sure we will come back again. With two small kids this Teo floor room is just great to have the possibility to put them to sleep while still having some time for you. Strongly recommend to check it out when you visit Valladolid to see if there are rooms available.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Coloquio. We had a very nice room with a view of the Plaza de la Universidad and the side of the Catedral. The hotel is in a beatiful old building that has been elegantly renovated. It’s perfectly situated in terms of sight seeing: Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Santa Cruz Palace (Univ. of Valladollid ceremonial building), Cabaleria, and more.||(The Tapas at Los Zagales de Abadia off Plaza Mayor are some of the best in all of Spain.)||The breakfast was outstanding - (staff must have paid attention to previous reviews) excellent cold meats, cheese and salmon, fresh pastries and cakes, fruits, eggs (one can order any style), bacon, sausages, etc; fresh juices and more. ||Parking in this hotel requires some skill. (I would definitely recommend dropping someone in your party by the curbside and asking the front desk for help.) The hotel’s garage is situated in the back requiring turning (right) on the street just past the hotel (with a no enter sign). To enter the garage one must use the phone outside to call the hotel. Once the doors open one drives the car into an elevator, and down the car goes! Not too hard the second time, but complicated and not intuitive the first time. Getting back on the elevator to leave the hotel will require a little maneuvering.||Aside from the parking acrobatics we loved the hotel. The staff could not have been nicer!||Gracias

Stayed here on the way into France. Hotel was quirky, stylish and very comfortable. Had an attic room but it was cleverly done so bright and discovered the low level windows with electronic blinds so we could see the square. Definitely the best location in town. Would have stayed for longer if we could. Car parking was easy to find as we emailed ahead and got directions (yes you do have to go up a pedestrianised street but cars are allowed for access.
