Me and my friend went in May to stay at Zenji Hotel. We were very warmly greeted upon our arrival. The room was nice, the shower was good and it was really close to Stone Town. They had really good tips on what to visit as well. The breakfast was really good. After checking out they allowed us to work up stairs before going to our next destination. Every question was answered with a smile and they were super helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We wanted a clean, simple room with a/c within walking distance of the seafront and old town. This hotel fitted our requirements exactly. Breakfast was really good with excellent coffee, juice, fruit, eggs and bread. Staff was very accommodating and kept our luggage free of charge for a few hours when we checked out.

Nice Location and breakfast with reasonable Price!! We would like to go to this place again when we go to Zanzibar. It was very near to Ferry and most of places in stone town on Foot. however, There is always some noises from Harbor. I still love their location and roof view.

All in all, it's a really good choice for a stay in Stone Town. Rooms and service a plus. Furnished and decorated with locally produced goods with a focus on support and sustainability. The location is okay, but there is a main road in front of it. Besides that, you can reach the ferry pier, the city center and the food court in about 10 minutes on foot or 3 minutes with a tuktuk, which is always nearby. The receptionist was always there for us to arrange what we needed.

This was a great stay and the service, staff and breakfast was amazing! They were always ready to help us with any needs we had. Hasan was always willing to help us with anything we needed. The room was very clean comfortable and welcoming. The location of the hotel is central to all tourist attractions and great shopping spots as everything is in walking distance. The rooftop where breakfast is served is cute and well set out. |There was always fresh fruit, homemade jams, juices and bread at the buffet. The coffee is out of this world! |All in all, an exceptional experience!

A very convenient location and comfortable stay at walkable distance from the ferry and market area. Very friendly staff and they talk with a smile on their face. Good breakfast served with love. Bread, cake, jam, juice etc are made by the staff (home made) and tastes so good and natural. However some rooms have small bathrooms, but very neat and clean. Their souvenir shop is very impressive with lots of products from waste like glass bottles - glasses, airtight glass jars lamp shade etc made from beer and wine bottles.

Excellent hotel! Very clean and AC worked very well. You barely see other guests, breakfast was satisfying and service was quick. We had private bathroom outside room and it was over expectations. .

This a lovely boutique hotel a stone’s throw from the ferry. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished with good AC. The management is friendly and always available to help. There is also a booklet for tours in Zanzibar, which was made navigation easy and was further facilitated by the management. The breakfast is simple, fresh and delicious, especially the coffee. I will definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend it to my friends and other travelers.
