Had the opportunity to go for a day. Looking at the pictures, I thought it would be a better experience. I'd like to give my impressions, however, each person is different and might appreciate things differently. We were a group of 5 and paid the "day pass" fee of $450MN each one. We arrived there around 10 am and by 12 pm we were gone. The cave is a man-made warmed by a water heater. I was not impressed at all by the cave. The garden is very pretty, but you can see it all in under 30 minutes. It is cute and relaxing, but not a big deal. We had breakfast in the onsite restaurant which was pretty good and relatively inexpensive. I do not think it is a bad experience but the pictures and the marketing for the place is impressive, relatively to reality. I'd recommend that you do not pay for the day pass as it is pretty much as waste.

We live in Yucatan, in Chelem about 2..5 hours away and Booked for my husbands birthday. They made up the room cute for his birthday. That was nice and we did like the Tub. We are older so the stairs were probably the highest in the building. My biggest complaint was the room. It was TINY. We met others who had bigger nicer rooms with porches. These were the only negitives We did not like room 12.|Other than that we LOVED this property, the salt caves, the pool , the turtles, the cats.|WE loved the restaurant it had amazing food and service all around was top notch The artwork is amazing and we had a great time and hope to return but not to room 12.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay. The cave pool was really unique, and they even had a concert there on one of the nights which I was able to attend. The restaurant is nice and overall Zenti’k was one of the highlights of my trip. It’s also close enough to the city center to walk.

This was a standout part of our recent trip. The cave pool is an amazing experience, rooms are private and well decorated, and the restaurant is fantastic: regionally authentic fare, great drinks, excellent service. Front desk service was very helpful. There really is an adorable little group of turtles, plus friendly cats hanging around. Food nearby is fantastic and affordable. ||If you are a light sleeper, this facility is well integrated into a residential neighborhood and this is Mexico. Dogs exist. Bring earplugs or headphones for white noise and you'll be fine.

Beautiful hotel with amazing grounds. Nice pool and lounging area around it. Plenty of little tucked away spots around the property to relax. The pools down below are really cool—actually we thought that would be the highlight, but were pleasantly surprised at how great the place is above ground as well.||Rooms are nice although I did think the bathroom was a little awkward and uncomfortable. Shower it was either scalding hot or ice cold and hard to figure out how to get the temperature in between. Restaurant seems like a bit of an afterthought.||There is a good public market nearby. Caters more towards residents with meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables etc to take home and cook yourself. Very good stuff though and there are some decent arts and crafts shops as well.||Otherwise not very centrally located. But such wonderful and inviting grounds that it was worth having to drive around a bit to go anywhere else.

A gorgeous oasis to stay. The hotel has a sunset view point and is full of gorgeous towering trees with vines hanging down. It’s like a forest getaway but a 17 min walk to the center of town. Breakfast was delicious we highly recommend.

What a subtle & beautiful experience. The attention to detail was phenomenal and they changed the game for me when looking for hotels & stays in the future. Every staff member was friendly and compassionate. The concert cave ceremony was absolutely one of the best experiences I've had.

We dd the day pass. The underground water could have been a little warmer, but it was nice. The poolside could use more hammocks; there were only two in the shade. We did the melipona tour and learned things. My wife got a massage. Medium pressure was more than she was ready for. The art all about is excellent!

Yelp
This place is very cool. The food is amazing (so make sure you take advantage of it being onsite!) as well as the waitstaff. Breakfast is included and is also very good. Everyone is super nice and the front desk will hook you up with offsite tours that you can trust. They also offer you 'soft tequilla' anytime you're dining, on the house which is amazing and a welcomed surprise. The only issue I have is that the rooms are super hot/humid. There is air conditioning in the room which keeps it 'bearable', along with the ceiling fans but if you are sensitive to the heat try to get a bottom floor room as I suspect its much cooler. The top floor has a thatched roof! Very cool but hot. no pun intended. Also, geckos live in the thatched roof. They laugh when you're making jokes which we also found hilarious but they poop. We didn't really need the screen over the bed for bugs, but realized on our last day maybe it was to keep away some of the gecko poop? I don't know. Also a min fridge in the room would be nice as having 'cool' drinks when its hot like this is mandatory for comfort! Oh and not every room has the art on the walls that are shown when you book the room on expedia. It didn't really matter to us but it was part of the charm that romanced us into booking here in the first place. So if this is important to you make sure you tell them. I believe there are only 12 o4 15 rooms here total which is also nice. There is really cool art everywhere and both the cave pool and outdoor pool are open 24 hours, which if you travel, you know is very uncommon! The cave pool is a real treat. I received a hot stone massage which was the best EVER. I am always leary about getting massages at hotels but I can assure you the therapists here are very good. The woman at the front desk during the day was also super nice and accommodating. This hotel was a welcome surprise after staying in more touristy/artificial areas. We enjoyed Valladolid very much. The hotel is about 10 min away from the center of town.

Yelp
We stayed in this amazing boutique hotel Christmas 2019, and I can't say enough great things about it! Tucked in off the street, you would have no idea the gorgeous grounds and cabanas were back there. There is art created by local artists everywhere and swimming in the naturally heated cenote under the hotel can't be missed. The staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly-one even took the time to give me some Mayan language lessons (it is spoken extensively in this part of the Yucatan). But hands down my favorite part was their in house tequila! I kid you not, the smoothest, best tequila I have ever had! They give you a free shot when you arrive and sell it for $11(!) a bottle. We went home last year with 4 bottles, and even made a day trip there just last week to get more. The only down side is that you cannot walk to the main square from Zentik, but even with that, I don't imagine we will stay anywhere else on a trip to Vallodalid.

Yelp
Extremely relaxing hotel. If you're trying to get away from the hustle and bustle of life I definitely recommend. It's located in Valladolid, small quiet beautiful town in the heart of Quintana Roo. The main attraction is the zen environment this location has offered. The underground hot spring is perfect to relax and regroup. The ambiance is amazing. I also recommend their massages to top of your stay! Definitely will be returning and encourage you to visit especially after this awful pandemic.

Yelp
Incredible hotel! Very clean. Really relaxing, they have two pools one of which is a heated salt pool. They welcomes us with a free tequila shot and a really yummy breakfast was included in the price of the room. They also have cats on the property! One is Tita and one is Tequila and they are both very friendly. Overall great experience with a very hospitable staff.

Yelp
This was my favorite hotel that I've ever stayed at. My wife and I had part of our honeymoon here and it was amazing. The entire staff was amazing and were extremely welcoming. Ramiro gave us a tour of the hotel and its murals. He later also ended up being our bar tender and made us some delicious signature drinks. All the while was giving us a crash course on Mayan culture and foods. Very friendly and will gladly teach you as much as you'd like to learn. The rooms were very simple but I mean that in a good way. Super cozy. Very clean and comfortable in every way. The hammock in the room was an awesome touch. No TV, but that just made things even better and allowed us to fully disconnect. The facility overall gives a unique feeling. There is lush vegetation throughout the grounds and the wooden buildings blend very nicely. The murals are all over the place, and you can stare at them for quite a while. Great pieces. There are two swimming pools. One is your standard pool, while the other is an underground "cueva" with warm salt water. There is also spa services on site. We got a couple's massage and it was amazing! The food was amazing! Highly recommend their panuchos de lomitos. So many of the drinks are freshly made in house and are delicious! We can definitely vouch for their chilaquiles, enchiladas, rib eye.Everything was delicious! Don't miss out on their pepinillo drink! Made with cucumbers and ancho chilies. Their house tequila was great as well. Shout out to Ramiro, Camilo, and Carlos! You made our stay beyond memorable! We will return!

Yelp
We were booked to stay at Hotel Zentik during the global COVID-19 pandemic. We elected to cancel our trip to avoid the risk of spreading the virus, as we would have been traveling from the U.S. where the virus has not been contained. The hotel was very responsive and accommodating during this challenging time. I admire their decision to put the health and safety of customers and staff above their financial interests during a very difficult time. I look forward to visiting Hotel Zentik in the future and encourage others to support them, as well!

Yelp
This place is by far our favorite hotel on our one month trip. The service and atmosphere are incredible. The salt water cave is sooo worth it. Arrival drink, 24hr access to pool and cave, and super kind staff.

Yelp
This place is amazing, not just the art and awesome bungalows but the food was incredible as well. We enjoyed the underground cave pool and the colorful bungalow. The complimentary tequila was delicious and I'm not a tequila drinker. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Yelp
We found this place online because of the underground cave with hot waters and have enjoyed every minute of our stay. There are just 10 rooms in 5 casitas all built with traditional Mayan methods, solid stone walls and floors. The beds are comfortable, although the shower takes a while for the hot water to come through. It's billed as adults only but they allowed one family with 3 younger teens to stay a night, which disrupted the quiet calm of the place. The food at the restaurant is excellent and a popular place for more affluent locals. The prices on the menu are comparable to USA family style restaurants, about $10 for an entree. Cocktails and coffee are included as is breakfast. We love being here because of the tranquility and relaxing atmosphere. It's a 90 minute drive from either Cancun or Merida on the toll road 180 and well worth it. We will definitely be returning here.

Yelp
This was a wonderful place for us to stay at while visiting the ruins near Valladolid. The staff is super friendly and you get a complementary drink upon arrival: tequila. The guys at the bar kept trying to get my friend and I to have a drink and were very hospitable. The room was clean and the bed was huge! My friend loved the hammock inside our room. Of course I have to mention the warm salt-water pool underground. It was very soothing, mostly candlelit at night. Quite romantic if you're there with your significant other. I almost fell asleep in there at night (it's open 24 hours). They also have an outdoor pool and massage services at very affordable prices: about $25 bucks for an hour, and it was worth every penny. The grounds are lovely as well and the property only has about 10 rooms. If you're looking for a room with an AC unit that makes you feel like you're not in the Yucatan peninsula, this is the place to be.
