Zentrum Artos Interlaken

We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Artos. They deserve all 5 stars. We stayed in the classic room, and it was one of the biggest and cleanest we stayed in while in Europe. Additionally, the spa was included in our stay. There was a jacuzzi, multiple saunas, and several other options. It was so nice to be able to recover after our days hiking. Interlaken is absolutely amazing and our stay at Hotel Artos just made it that much better.

Visited Hotel Artos with my family (spouse and 2 boys) from INDIA in May 2024. I was here for 3 nights. The place in around 1 km from Interlaken OST station and bus is available at every 30 min. There is bus stop just outside the Hotel. If required you can walk also to/from OST it is just 8-9 min beautiful stroll. Though was not aware, the Hotel is shared with old age home and the seniors share the Hotel and restaurant. The rooms were spacious and having balcony. |The hotel is having all modern stuff like automatic opening and closing of all the doors etc. I think this is because of Seniors. Though Old age people are sharing the facility but it is absolutely non-interfering but because of this, the environment of the Hotel is less lively. There is no separate restaurant for Coffee for even a drink. I expected some liveliness in the Hotel. |The place is very close to city center (800 mt). There is direct exit from back side of hotel to City center. Waking besides the old castle, Clock tower and a beautiful cemetery reminds scenes from a second world war movie.|The breakfast is good but remains same everyday as there is no cooked dishes served.|All in all good place but with some caveats. Choose wisely.

Had a pleasant experience at Artos during our stay in interlaken. The hotel is close from interlaken ost station (around 12 min walk). There is also a bus stop right at the hotel doorstep with buses running from the interlaken ost station. The hotel is nicely maintained and is clean. The rooms are good in size and very cleanly kept. The breakfast was great as well.

Will give a high point for the location but we honestly didn't feel comfortable at all when we went in. The hall feels like a hospital room instead of a hotel, it's really hard to relax. the moment I walked in the room I smelled a really weird artificial spray smell that immediately got me nauseous. I felt like vomitting and i was hoping to relax after a long travel and arrived to a place that felt like a hospital. I understand its an elder care center but I wasnt really expecting things to feel off. The room size was great, we had a premium room with a big shower too but the furniture was really outdated. I ended up refunding and leaving because I personally couldn't stay there. I understand it's not nice to ask for refunds at hotels and cancel and ive never done that but this is one of the first that I really felt weird energy and couldn't stay.

Hotel is located in quiet part of Interlaken. There is a gym and spa available. Rooms are quite big, clean and there is enough light during the day. Staff is professional and helpful. Frequently wifi is unstable so there are often difficulties with Internet connection. Check out extension is not possible - I was in the hotel two times and I was never allowed to check out a bit later (normal check out is 10). There is no kettle in the room. Beds are too soft, and if you are taller than 185 cm blanket is too short. Breakfast is quite modest, there are only few choices.

I have been to this hotel a couple of times and highly recommend it. Easy location ( 5 minutes from the train station by bus), sparkling clean, well-maintained, well-managed facilities, very nice and helpful staff. The breakfast is fair and tasty. The room is spacious, comfy beds, and a lovely mountain view from the balcony. Also, the elderly residents tend to be comfortable with the buzzing tourists and greet us as we pass by. The hotel offered us a free transportation pass to use the city bus and explore the area. Overall, it is a great cost-effective option.

FACTS: -basicly a RETIREMENT home filled with OLD people. - no amenities given - no slippers ( must buy) - they make up the bed but DID NOT Clean the FLOOR. - the breakfast is awful. same everyday. - NO RESTAURANT In the hotel - NO restaurant nearby the hotel - NO kettle - NO coffee, tea whatsoever. the only thing good about this hotel is infront of bus stop and the small playground ( near neighbourhood)

Wonderful stay in Hotel Artos Interlaken! It's very convenient to walk to Interlaken OST which leads us to the jungfrau area. Didn't know that the hotel got an extension for local elderly and those who are in need, but I did not feel uncomfortable and quite shocked about the co-existence of Elderly facilities & Hotel. Indeed, I believe most of the guest would expect it to be a hotel-like and want to be informed in advance which I think the hotel can do it better by putting more information in the description of the hotel. The room is huge and comfortable (except the pillow) and the balcony is just amazing. Breakfast included and I quite like it (especially the fried egg!). Overall, I would recommend this hotel to all of you!
