The staff at Zephyr Palace went above and beyond to make our wedding absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such warmth, grace, and professionalism—it truly felt like we were being welcomed home. Every detail was taken care of with such care and precision, and they managed everything with such calm, positive energy. The views were breathtaking, the ambiance magical, and the service was top-tier. Whether it was coordinating last-minute changes, assisting guests, or setting up our dream ceremony and reception, they exceeded every expectation. A very special thank you to Michael, who was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. His kindness, calm presence, and dedication to making our day flawless did not go unnoticed. Michael, you are truly a light and a gift—thank you for holding such sacred space for our love and for supporting us every step of the way. We are so deeply grateful to the entire team at Zephyr Palace for making our special day feel like a fairytale come true

We held our wedding at the palace, and the experience was incredible! The staff was outstanding, and our main contact, Mariana, was a huge help every step of the way. She took care of every small detail and was there throughout the wedding, assisting with anything we needed

We live in Jaco, just south of this property, but we had not been there until today. We stopped in for lunch, hoping for a great view. Good food would just be the cherry on top. Well, the view is stunning, and the food far exceeded our expectations. The walnut-crusted seabass was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive, but did not hover. We will definitely be back for sunset happy hour and dinner soon! There were iguanas basking in the sun, toucans calling out, and hummingbirds flitting by. We also spotted some white faced monkeys on our way back down to the highway.

The view from the room and the pool is astonishing and the architecture well integrated with the wonderful nature around it's pristine gardens. The rooms (we stayied and the Egipit) are enormous and very confy, though the decoration may not please all tastes. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The beach nearby is not that near and not very beautiful, but also "exclusive", and the restaurant could be better for what it charges. All in all, a wonderful experience.

We just had our daughters wedding reception, May 2021 at Zephyr Palace. To start with, we had been planning this since 8/2018! Due to COVID it had been postponed twice and there was never an issue with postponing it! They were very easy to work with. That being said.....||The venue is spectacular! We could not have asked for a better, more magical night and the staff was excellent. Michael Alvarado, our special events coordinator, made the whole process easy and wonderful! If I could I would give this 10 stars!

We traveled to Costa Rica for the second time with in 9 months of each other. This time our stay was at Zephyr palace/Villa callita. We flew into SJO and hired a private driver to take us the hour and 20 min to villa callitas. The drive was nice and our driver was great and let us stop and take pics along the way. When we arrived a zephyr palace/villa callitas it was so beautiful and clean. They upgraded our rooms and we were in rooms 23,24 and 25. They were amazing! We had hot tubs on each of our patios with amazing views. The staff was amazing!! My daughter came down with a cold once we got there and we had no medicine with us. The waiter had the bartender mix her up a hot toddy with honey, lemon, tea and whiskey (she is 21) and it helped her feel better the next day! Every staff member was so friendly and really tried to make our stay the best experience and they succeeded! The views are unbelievable and the place is breathtaking. The food was top notch! I don't think we had one bad thing there! My niece is only 11 and is a tad more picky with food selection and the chefs would go out of their way to make whatever she was requesting even tho it wasn't on the menu! I read the bad review from a person who traveled here and they mentioned the place was not clean and I would have to say this was the cleanest place and I was shocked by their review! We travel often and this is a place we will come back to again and again. We have stayed at several all inclusive resorts in other countries and I have relaxed but this place bought me to my zen and its the first time I have ever just completely enjoyed every minute of my stay! Thank you Zephyr Palace for the most amazing trip and the excellent welcoming staff you have at your place! From the ground crew to the wait staff to the chefs and concierge they are top notch! One name I want to mention that is on your staff and he is part of grounds crew is Eber (Edherd) he was the most helpful and friendly workers!

This hotel is unexpected in every way. One man’s fantasy perched on a hilltop overlooking the sea. It comes complete with a fake Roman amphitheater and themed rooms. We had the Africa suite which has stunning ocean views and hilarious bad taste in African kitsch. We loved it. The place is vast and the staff drive you around in golf buggies. The food is average but the view from the terrace is wonderful. We can’t say we’d make an effort to return but it’s on our list of unforgettable hotels of the world.

the hotel is not located at the beach as mentioned on booking.com. unfortunately the last shuttle to the beach is at 3pm. so if you get your room at 3pm (check in time), you are not able to get to the beach anymore. the room was selled as a suite, but it‘s only a small standard one room bedroom. the fridge is very loud and also the toilett makes a lot of noise the whole night. the smell inside the hotel is like in a highway toilet. we were expecting much mor for the price we payed. a beer costs $5.00. in costa rica you could buy 20 beers for that amount. if you like beaches, this is not the place you like to stay. again, very very dissapointing.
