A good place for some delicious Swiss food! The staff can speak English and are friendly and helpful. Reservations are essential but sometimes they do have spaces for walk ins.

one of the worse customer service and experience since arriving in switzerland (we travelled to zurich, interlaken and finally zermatt). similar to other low reviews regarding customer service where it felt like the waiters/waitress were either racist or not keen in servicing our tables. still water was also charged at 7.50CHF, quite unlike many other restaurants which charges ~5CHF. additionally for the lamb chop ordered - i had forgotten to inform my preference on the temperature. However for all the restaurants i've visited, all of the waiters had asked on our preference. My preference is well done, but i believe what was served is medium well. I was also not keen on reaching out to inform after the poor customer service experienced. We only wanted to finish the meal and leave. As we were packing up and leaving, we also felt unwanted stares from the service staff (waiters/waitresses and bartender) at the bar counter. Such an unpleasant experience for a beautiful place in zermatt.

Very good food and cozy atmosphere. The fondue was great as were our steaks which were perfectly cooked. The cider was also very good and not too sweet. Relatively small restaurant and like all other places we saw in Zermatt you should definitely try to make a reservation if you can, though a couple who came in early when we were there around 6:30 were able to get seats.

Google
Cozy little restaurant we walked into after we were looking for a place to have fondue. Aside from fondue, they offer selections of local meat like beef, veal, and lamb. The restaurant itself gave off a very traditional feel. Ordered a fondue and it was very tasty and had a strong wine flavour, although the bread was a little hard. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a place to experience local Swiss cuisine!

Small crowded restaurant, food was good 👍🏻 snails 🐌 were great but the pasta with garlic was tasteless and too much garlic,,pumpkin soup was good , and the ribs as well ,,, the waiter was not comfortable at all seems busy and want to finish everything quickly 😞

This was the best restaurant we ate at over 10 days in Switzerland. To start the escargot flavors were beyond wine and garlic, they are some of most tender delicious morsels I have ever had. The truffle fondue was so flavorful. We recommend you order for 1, you can always add more cheese to your pot or switch up flavors! Steak was cooked to perfection and a great pairing with the fondue served with home made a gratin cheesy potatoes. Maria and her staff were super kind and attending, thank you. Don’t be afraid to eat early as this place will fill up!

First place we went to try swiss (cheese) fondue and desserts, and they did not disappoint! The only problem we had was we weren't allowed to sit inside to order drinks until a certain time, but could order them if we sat outside. Thankfully, it was a beautiful summer day and the town offered a great atmosphere.

We got the fondue and it was delicious! They had a range of flavours for fondue including, classic, processo, truffle etc. I highly recommend the Prosecco, it had so much flavour and was so rich. The staff were also very friendly.

Yelp
This was the best dinner we had on our honeymoon thus far throughout Switzerland! Our server, Maria, was an absolute delight. Very cozy atmosphere. Thank you for having us in!!

Yelp
We were encouraged by the positive reviews on this restaurant. A previous reviewer recommended the champagne fondue. I will say to you, save your money. It was $90 for two people just for the fondue, a beer and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was nothing special. The beer with small. More importantly, the fondue was average. Our server, Maria was not only rude to us, but the other people that walked in. She seemed to give preference to some people, that walked in without a reservation, but not to others. Was not accommodating to us at all, since I wanted to change the order of the fondue to one person and a different dish for my husband. Mind me, I never placed a bad review. But I was inclined to post a bad review since people don't know what they're getting into.

Yelp
Humans are odd creatures. We come to the mountains for snow and unforgiving climates, then seek out somewhere cozy and warm. Yet, it is one of the biggest pleasures and this establishment knows how to cater to it. It is, summed up simply, one of the coziest places on earth. Upon walking in, it feels like a comfortable lodge from an era that has long escaped us. It feels like a festive room in Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings. Put simply, it just does not feel real. Woody yet elegant, it does not look like a tasteless place either in terms of design. As a matter of fact, quite the opposite. Unsurprisingly, the meal does match to the place rather well. The lamb sausage is simply spectacular, served with traditional Swiss potato cakes and some mustard. It's not a dish to be admired, but rather destroyed quickly. The sausage is so flavorful that there is even a sense of guilt that may appear while dipping it into the mustard. A separate course consisted of their ravioli stuffed with winter vegetables and nuts, also not deviating far from its environment. When all of the above is finished with a bottle of Swiss wine from Valais, it truly becomes a meal to remember. Kind people, making spectacular food, in a very cozy, beautiful place.

Yelp
Lovely local restaurant. The staff was friendly and patient with us. I would not recommend the cheese fondue, a little sour for my American palette. The chicken with pearl onions was delicious. But the best thing by far was the potatoes au gratin - crunchy top, creamy center, and oh so good!!!
