Scheduling the appointments was especially difficult. With that said all of our party were extremely satisfied and on a blissful cloud nine after a massage and float session. There could be improvement in communication both while making an appointment as well as between treatments. The facilities are clean and there is Orgone jewelry available at the front.

Had a great experience with the floatation therapy. Immediately upon walking in the friendly staff greeted my dad and I by name (definitely on top of their reservations!), and we were quickly taken back to start the float. They provide a nice changing room with keyed lockers to store your clothes and valuables. We were then seated in very high end massage chairs for a 15 minute massage before our float. Afterwords, we were then shown to our private float rooms and we were shown how the process would work and the staff member was very helpful, answering any questions we had. And then the float! It was a very interesting experience and I found it quite relaxing an enjoyable. Highly recommend the experience and this is a great place to try it out.

I had an excellent experience! I got a 1-hour massage with Sarah Z. and a 1-hour float. The massage was perfect! Deeply relaxing, balanced and nurturing. I could tell Sarah truly cares about massage and helping others. It felt like a two-hour long massage. Once finished I enjoyed 15-minutes in these amazing reclining massage chairs before my float. Since it was my first time floating and they took their time explaining everything to me. I took a quick shower, in the room with the tank. It took me a while to get used to the tank. I found I was most comfortable with my arms over my head rather than at my sides. It was really nice to not have any stimulus. I didn't fall asleep or transcend reality - I just felt relaxed and floated around. When your time is over the tank's music slowly rises and the lights come on shortly after. It was a bit shocking to get used to the stimulus again! I do not recommend going to a grocery right after - like I did. It was too much!! Overall A++++ experience. Booking over the phone was easy and everyone I met was kind and helpful!

This was my first time experiencing a float / sensory deprivation / Isolation tank or whatever you want to call it. I really cannot recommend this experience enough, I liked it so much that I will be buying a membership plan. It did take me a while to "dump my thoughts" but once I did it was an out of this world experience. I thought getting a massage was a relaxing time, but this was mentally relaxing and for someone like me, who is always mentally exhausted, this was quite a treat. The staff was friendly, the place was pristine and I'm an OCD clean freak and I was impressed. Definitely recommend trying this experience.

Floating is such a unique experience you have to at least try 3 times. My first time did not blow me away, but every other time has been really amazing. The physical sensation is cool and I feel great after, but when I get in the zone while floating it is a place mentally I cannot get anywhere else. Also, the facility here is beautiful and so clean! Love it!

Like mostly everyone stated, the husband and wife team were super-awesome!! The place was very clean. They made both me and my wife feel very comfortable. To my amazement, they went above and beyond to make accommodations for my health needs. Personally, I had a difficult time relaxing in the tank but that was due to my own issues. Luckily, I was able to request my music to remain on. My wife enjoyed all her time. There was a period of relaxation while drifting around in circles, but I probably wouldn't try it again. My favorite part was the chair-that thing was on steroids!! I LOVED IT! I also purchased an orgonite necklace, which I love too💜 My only drawback of the experience was pricing and I felt a little queasy afterwards... That was our experience. Try it for yourself, we are all on our own journey.😊

I've been to all of the Float Tank places in Austin and this place is by far the best. First and most importantly the tanks are the best I've ever used, very large and comfortable. The last tank I floated in was a pod where the lid closed over the top of you and the condensation in tank had salt water falling in my eyes! Not an issue here as the tanks are HUGE and they have installed heating elements in the roofs of the float tanks to negate the possibility of condensation. The facility is awesome and the staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. I bought three sessions for the future and will be back soon.

Clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. I opted for the one hour float followed by a one hour massage. I was amazed at how effortless it was to float in the 25% epsom salt solution. I opted to use the two provided flotation pillows to begin with - one under my neck and the other under my head. This allowed me to relax quickly and I was able to remove the pillows within a few minutes to enjoy an unassisted float. I used the provided wax ear plugs since I didn’t want to get water in my ears. My massage therapist, Katelyn was amazing. she listened to my concerns/preferences and worked out the knots in my shoulders with just the right amount of pressure. I left blissed out and grateful for the experience. I recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a unique experience.

Awesome float center in South Austin! The staff is warm & friendly and there to answer all your questions. The facility is clean and has a warm & welcoming vibe when you walk in. I had a great float which was an amazing way to start my trip to Austin. Make sure to spend a little time in the zen room after your float & enjoy some tea and vibe out. Check out the yoga studio next door too!

I enjoyed floating at trueRestfloat spa. Id recommend you to bring a swim suit or extra underwear.

The staff are very friendly and make the whole experience an enjoyable easy breeze. And the float cabinets! Amazing, incredible, the best float experience I have ever had. Please never get rid of them. I have had my most relaxing floats at this location, much to do with the size of the pods. I am fully ready to eschew customization options such as music and light control inside the pod to keep floating in pods like these. Thanks to everyone at that location for making my sensory deprivation experience a great one.

I just bought a membership at True Rest and I'm already going to upgrade so I can come more often. I was given an informative tour with my first float and all staff members are pleasant and professional. The float rooms are always clean with ear plugs/shampoo/conditioner/body wash and the changing room has an array of other toiletries and a blow dryer. There are options for lighting/music during the floats and the staff consistently ask for my preferences each time. There is also a relaxing lounge with complimentary herbal tea to hang out in before or after floating. It's evident that a great deal of thoughtfulness was put into the setup. I'm happy to be an active member!
