Zero Zero

Zero Zero specializes in Italian sourdough focaccia sandwiches with meat and vegetarian options. We went on the weekend, so it was pretty busy and we waited about 10 minutes in line and 10-15 minutes to receive our order, but honestly, it just shows how popular the place is. We ordered the Focaccia Piccante and the Focaccia Pomodoro. They’re a bit pricey, but damn, the portions are very big. You can easily share one with someone (I would recommend). The Piccante was my favorite. It had salami, nduja, stracciatella, rucola, tomato, and parmigiano reggiano, so flavorful and just the right amount of spicy. I would 100% order it again. The Pomodoro (with San Marzano tomato, parmigiano, red pesto, sundried tomatoes, oregano, and olive oil) was also really tasty, but a little too salty for me personally. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful, the sandwiches are massive, and the quality is great. Definitely worth trying if you’re craving a proper Italian sandwich in Amsterdam!

Really tasty sandwich, we both had the Italiano and sat round the corner on a bench overlooking the canals, would recommend this as it’s super busy in and around this spot. The bread was huge and delicious with large portions. Please go here!

Zero Zero Amsterdam was amazing. Warm focaccia with mortadella and stracciatella - simple, classic, and honestly can never go wrong. The flavors are a bit on the mild side, but that’s kind of the point. If you’re into more intense, bold flavors, they have other sandwiches that are definitely worth trying. You’ll probably have to queue for around 5-7 minutes, but it moves really fast and doesn’t feel annoying at all. The staff are super nice, and the iced latte was great too. Definitely a spot I’d go back to.

not amazing pictures, but the flavour.. oh wow! really amazing, super fresh ingredients, bread coming out of the oven every 20min. super nice space, made for take-away and the girls are really agile. perfect for a quick lunch.

Believe the hype and visit Zero Zero if you're in the area. The sandwiches are incredible, well filled and SO fresh. The crunch on that foccacia is unreal and the inside is soft and springy. Yes it's pricey compared to other places, but the sandwiches are worth it. We ended up going twice during our stay. The only down side I'd say is that there's no option to create your own sandwich, and they aren't thrilled at having to make changes, however when you see how busy the shop is, it's kind of understandable. They don't really have a lot of time to be messing about, it's definitely more a time management thing than them being difficult I imagine. Updated to add that this venue is card only payments, so no cash accepted.

A surprisingly tasteful experience! The simple, crunchy focaccia filled with quality Italian ingredients makes for the perfect grab-and-go meal with each bite being more satisfying than the last. A short wait in line is all that separates you from these excellent sandwiches, a refreshing alternative to any fast-food stop.

I heard so much about this sandwicherie and my hopes were up, but it was just okay. I tried their Picanté sandwich, nothing extraordinary. Somehow expected more for 13€. There also was a hot sandwich with roast beef, that sounded so much better but it wasn’t available at the time unfortunately. Staff was super nice, there were a lot of people but ambiance was solid 7/10

What bread they have at Zero Zero — really something special. And great to see the business growing with new places opening 👏 This time we went for the veggie option and thanks to the bread it still felt very satisfying. That said, my top choice is still the one with burrata and mortadella 🤍
