I absolutely loved this place! I was in town visiting family and decided to try this place out for dinner. The service was amazing and as soon as we walked in we were seated immediately. It was not a long wait time to place an order or receive our food as our server was very attentive! Any questions we had, he explained thoroughly and was such a great help. It was a nice atmosphere too And I love the fact that it was dimly lit which gave more of an intimate experience. We ordered the jambalaya combo, shrimp Creole, and bread pudding. Everything was amazing! There was so much flavor and everything that we ordered and the dessert was perfect! We received great portion sizes for a reasonable price so I would highly recommend trying this place out!

The food is AMAZING! The portions are HUGE so bring your appetite or be ready to take home some leftovers. The service is fantastic, everyone is so friendly, helpful, and attentive. It almost feels like they know you when you walk in. If you want delicious food, stop by and eat here. We ordered the Gator bites, jambalaya, gumbo (which I didn't take a pic) and the shrimp Alfredo (not sure of that's what it was called there). I think i preferred the gumbo over the jambalaya though. Cheers to beers, enjoy!

Their servings are huge but they were all really good. I liked the jambalaya the best and also the fries with the catfish was good. Biscuits were amazing too!
We got the sweetened sweet tea but it was very watery.

I don’t remember ever trying Cajun and Creole cuisine before, so we asked the waiter for recommendations…. Man, did he recommend correctly. We had the “Zesty Combo”, “Taste of Nola” and the “Creole Etouffee”. We were 6 and it was fantastic to get a nice taste of all the types of foods. By the way, we had an interesting experience there…. This crazy dude started making trouble, no fault of the restaurant. The owner handled her business and took care of the threat. By herself for a while, she handled this crazy dude. Police like always took their sweet time to get there. But eventually everything came to a conclusion. What a day, only in New Orleans French Quarter can this happen. LOL

This one lived up to the hype (reviews). We split the three egg (your way) omelette with grits and a biscuit. They allowed us to order just a single pancake as well. My my my…everything was hot and delicious. The omelette had great flavor through and through, along with the fantastic biscuit that was crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. The grits were excellent with just the right texture and WOW, the pancake was also full of sweet-flavored goodness. I would highly recommend this place!

The food was tasty, well seasoned and delicious! The Jambalaya is to live for! It's totally scrumptious! The customer service was top-notch! "BEyaz," our server was attentive, courteous, and professional. She wowed us with her kindness and service. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant atmosphere was cozy, customer friendly, and down-to-earth, yet classy in its own way. We had a positive dining experience! We enjoyed Zesty Creole! If you are visiting New Orleans, I suggest you check it out. We certainly will visit again whenever back in New Orleans.

I ordered the fried gator and the banana foster cheesecake. Honestly, the alligator wasn’t to my taste — the meat was a bit tough and slightly too salty. But the cheesecake was delicious, with a beautiful presentation. Service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly.

This place was the best place in New Orleans that we found for breakfast! We were in town for one week and went here twice! The service could not be beat, from the gentleman at the door helping seat customers as quickly as possible to the smiling waitress who remembered us on the second day. I had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict (two times) and it did not disappoint! My boyfriend had the crab cake eggs Benedict and let me try some and that was amazing too and on day two he did the biscuits and gravy. On the 2nd day we shared some fried green tomatoes because I had always wanted to try them and they too were delicious! Highly recommend for the atmosphere as well as the consistency and for the friendliness and finally for the amazing flavors! The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was amazing start to finish, there was some kind of magic in the way that there was a crunchiness to the English muffin all the way to the end. Yum!
