Zeus Hotel

This is a lovely 2 star, family run hotel in a great location close to the beach, restaurants and wee supermarket. Pool area is spotless with plenty of padded loungers which were plentiful. The staff are super friendly and Nic always welcomes you for a nightcap after going out to eat.|Only downside was leaky shower but solved by rolling a towel along the bottom of the door.|Would recommend Ztours for trips to Kos Town, Nicyros Island and many more, very good value.|Met some lovely people, so maybe if you're not too sociable this place is not for you.|Looking forward to returning next year and exploring more of this beautiful island.|Many thanks.

Okay lets put some of these bad reviews to rest. Breakfast !! yes basic but you have Bread, Toast, Jam, Cheese, Ham, Olives. its a 2* hotel and you pay very little for your holiday. you can buy a cooked breakfast should you want one but most of the time i am quite happy with what is on offer. Rooms!!! always clean and tidy and can trust the maids when i leave things out. Aircon!! Not anywhere does it say that it is included and the same with the majority of hotels anywhere in Greece you pay. Staff !!! Family run business and they cannot do enough for you, if you speak to people as if they are there just to serve you and you are under the impression that you are the only guest or that you Don't even try to engage that is your problem not theirs. This is the friendliest hotel that i have ever stayed in.

Lovely, clean, family run hotel. The room was small but modern and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was enclosed, which is a plus in a small greek hotel and the water was always hot and powerful. We had a nice balcony to sit on for a quiet drink in the evening which was furnished with a table and 2 comfortable chairs plus a drying rack.| On previous holidays to Greece we have had to pay between 10 and 15 euros for a breakfast buffet, most of which we wouldn't eat, so I dont know why the free breakfast comes in for so much criticism. We were more than happy with the buffet of cereal, bread for toasting plus crusty bread, butter and jams, cheese and ham and boiled eggs. Plus juice, tea and coffee. It is much more than we would eat at home and if you want more it is available from the snack bar breakfast menu for a small cost.| It is the family who own and run Zeus that made staying here such a pleasure. They give you a warm and friendly welcome and work tirelessly to make your stay an enjoyable one. We enjoyed our week here so much that we have booked for next year and cant wait to return.

The Good !!about the hotel, first impressions on arrival very clean nicely laid out bar area plenty of seating. nice size pool plenty of sunbeds, staff friendly. Bedroom nice size plenty of space in wardrobe for clothing etc, shower little small but the water pressure is great. Balcony enough for two people and as we were on the end on the third floor had plenty of sunlight.|The Bad!! depending on who serves you the wine measurements varie, but always small and the prices also varie, although its states on a notice board its compulsory to shower to go into the pool, there is no shower, and seems everyone is covered in suntan lotion and sweat I choose not to use the pool,no sunbeds to be reserved unless items will be removed, this does not apply, certain people reserve every morning, breakfast is poor, eggs, sliced tomatoes, ham, cheese and bread, if you want something different you have to pay. Snack bar closes at 2-30 in the afternoon and its cheaper to eat in the restaurants outside with excellent food. The rooms are not kept the cleanest, a notice states towels change every two days sheets every three, we were there 11 nights, sheets changed twice, bearing in mind you sweat a lot due to the heat, air con is expensive there. the bathroom mirror and sink never gets cleaned the tap was covered in mould, balcony never swept. Very noisy with guests going to their rooms in the night, music is always very loud, could say more but lets say will not be going there again

Arrived late at night and shown to the room promptly.. a bottle of water would have been welcoming after travelling for long hours. Pull out bed was far from comfortable. Mosquitos are on steroids! If you’re prone to being bitten this area is not for you. Bites where done whilst in the room despite purchasing all kinds to stop the little darlings 🤣|The father and son Nick are the most friendliest of the family, the women however wore the face of a sour apple. Hardly spoke and noticed they wore the same attire every day from breakfast to cleaning carrying rubbish bags . Nick is made for the hospitality business he goes above and beyond which made our stay more likeable. End of season so limited places to eat out. The places still open served food we had no complaints about. |End of season or not we are still guests and expect the same service as the in season guests. Room: balcony had not need swept before we arrived. Shower was in a poor state the shower head faces the back wall and could not be re postitioned. Towels and sheets did not get changed. |If staff where all as friendly as Nicky and his father this would be a better review.. |advice: smile you use less muscles than the frowns 😁

As previous reviewers have said you get what you pay for and to be honest it wasn't cheap for a 2 star. Never had such an abysmal continental breakfast and the cleaning of the rooms were non existent.|Don't waste your money far nicer hotels In Kefalos. |

Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are clean, bed changed and clean towels every two days. Good location for the beaches and restaurants. Lots of return clients. Will definitely be returning.

This is our third time at this amazing hotel where you are welcomed all the time we spent 2 weeks there met some great people family are great as,are all the restaurants can't fault this hotel at all will definitely be back next year pool area is kept spottless breakfast is good rooms are very well maintained
