Çinili Hamam was absolutely amazing! The service was impeccable, the complimentary treats were generous, and everything felt very well thought through. 🧖‍♂️✨ If you go, make sure to visit the exhibition — it’s beautifully curated and the interior itself feels like an art space. 🎨🏛️ The staff’s attention, the sherbets, and even the final relaxation/waiting area were excellent. 🍹🛋️ You can easily go after work — they provide everything: slippers, towels, and all essentials. 👌 Lockers and security systems are also in place, so you feel completely comfortable. 🔐 Yes, it’s on the pricey side, but absolutely worth the price. 💸➡️💯 A truly special Istanbul experience 🌿✨

This historic hammam has been beautifully restored, with a world-class museum and contemporary art gallery added to the complex. Unfortunately, the hammam experience itself left much to be desired. Even though I was the only guest at the time of my appointment, I was received rudely and rushed through the treatment with minimal effort or care from the bath attendant. They kept asking if it was my first time (it wasn’t), seemingly to gauge how little they could get away with. Just last week, I had a far more relaxing and enjoyable experience at a historic hammam in Izmir—for a tiny fraction of the price. If it’s a genuine hammam experience you’re after, you can certainly find better options elsewhere in Istanbul. That said, the museum, gallery, and even the outdoor spaces are beautifully designed and thoughtfully curated—well worth a visit on their own. Honestly, the best thing they could do might be to get rid of the hammam entirely and turn the whole complex into an art gallery, much like what was done with the historic hammams in Skopje, North Macedonia.

Supper clean. Men and women have totally separate hamam areas therefore they can get services at the same time but separate. Very beautiful, super clean, newly restored (totally). It also has a museum and separate cafe attached to it outside. The Hamam is located In a very quiet but historical part of town not many foreigners visit but worth the visit. There is a historical church/cami and nice cafe ran by the city near by so prices are not crazy. A haman service here followed by exploring the local area is a nice way to spend a relaxing week day in Istanbul.

This was truly a great experience. I LOVED! the foam massage scrub. The staff were very friendly and kind. Afterwards, I was able to tour the museum which I felt was a major bonus probably compared to other locations. It provided me with the history of the Hamam culture, and it connected directly to the site's history and renovation process. I highly recommend and plan to go back when I visit Istanbul again.

Therapist’s technique was good enough. I went early in the day and the “warm” marble was not warm. I actually felt cold during the “warm-up”, i.e., pre-scrub, time. Scrub was good. Bubble massage was good.

The hammam experience was incredible. A very cool historical building and the staff is exceptionally attentive and kind. My therapist was an expert and I left feeling cleaner, more relaxed and refreshed than ever!

Zeyrek Çinili Hamam is an extraordinary place where history, architecture, and care come together perfectly. The building itself is stunning — calm, beautifully restored, and deeply atmospheric, making you feel transported into another time the moment you enter. The experience was impeccable from start to finish. The staff were professional, discreet, and extremely attentive, making everything feel both luxurious and authentic. The hammam ritual was deeply relaxing and performed with great expertise, allowing me to fully unwind and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. What truly sets Zeyrek Çinili Hamam apart is its balance between tradition and comfort: it preserves the essence of a historic Ottoman hammam while offering a refined, serene, and impeccably clean environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine, high-quality hammam experience in Istanbul — absolutely worth it and unforgettable.

Google
A wonderfully restored place in an equally interesting part of the city. The contrast of the surrounding area with its market stalls and butcher shops and then you get into this very stylish haven of tranquility! The hamam treatment itself was lovely but also quite pricey so you may find the actual bath experience elsewhere at a lower price. But the atmosphere and the knowledge how this place was restored make it worth a visit for sure. And do not forget to look at the attached museum. It is not huge but very interesting and lets you appreciate the place even more. Can only highly recommend!
