Zeyrek Çinili Hamam

I had a little bit of time prior to my appointment at this Hamam so was walking around and clumsily slipped, fell, and badly sprained my ankle JUST before my appointment. I was able to hobble into the Hamam and everyone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I had extra support every step of the way, after my Turkish bath experience the staff on hand treated my ankle by spraying it with cooling menthol spray, they iced my ankle, let me rest while drinking tea, they even wrapped my ankle for me and called a vehicle to take me back to my hotel. They went ABOVE and BEYOND in providing the BEST customer service and I sincerely thank them. After months of my visit, I still remember them fondly and that’s why I’m taking the effort to write this review. The Hamam experience itself was wonderfully relaxing and even though my ankle was throbbing, I was able to enjoy my time and soak in the beautiful ambiance and cultural richness of this Hamam. I’ve never had a more luscious bubble scrub in my life! If I ever make it back to Istanbul, I’ll definitely be going back here. It’s a beautiful Hamam with a museum, outdoor rooftop, and the service is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

The traditional head-to-toe body scrub and cleansing left me feeling refreshed, while the soothing foam massage by the marble basin was a luxurious touch that melted away any tension. Our first Hamam experience and it was unforgettable. Even my son said, "You know you were good if you are spoken about tomorrow, and I will be talking about this tomorrow, the next day, and to gran!". The most beautifully serene place with so much history and cultural richness in the architecture, design, and for your review at their well curated museum experience. At reception, we received an explanation of the experience to follow, a wonderful overview from minute one. My husband and son were ushered to the male entrance, and I had some time all to myself from my entry at the female side of Hamam. From my warm welcome by Songül who explained the experience and facility to the most amazing treatment by Duygu. The whole foamy, warm washing experience was just bliss. Treated from head to toe with rest moments in between in the most beautiful rooms, Duygu was warm and professional. All in all, possibly the highlight of our trip.
