A Turkish local food joint one must try out once in Cappadocia. The portion is huge and delicious. The owner and his wife cook up amazing food with lot of love. The vegetable soup is not to be missed. Their meatballs are the ones I thoroughly enjoyed. The owner will cheer you up with a lively witty smile.

Reduced menu due to covid however what we did try was very good. Highly recommend their testi kebab!

It's a wonderful family run restaurant. The owner is extremely accommodating, friendly and courteous. He helped us decide our order. Even showed us his kitchen and gave us some tasting of the food to decide. On top of all that, even my young son insisted he wanted to have chicken, the owner himself hurriedly went to get fresh chicken and made some quick dishes for us. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is family owned and run. The food is all homemade and made fresh daily. My spouse and children and I came around 5 pm and everything was given to us fresh and the food was traditional Turkish. The owner and his family sat with us after we finished as we were the only customers left at the time and he was very nice and respectful. ☺️

So far my favorite restaurant since I've been in Turkey. All the food came out perfect. The ambiance was great. I really enjoyed chatting with the owner. 10/10 will come back!

I found this little place one night while walking around Urgup just prior to a cycling tour of Cappadocia. There is not a great selection of foods but what they do have has that delicious home cooked flavor. The staff are friendly and efficient and it offers good value for the money. A couple I toured with went there twice and the people from the agency also agreed that it was one of the better eateries. I would certainly try it again if I return to Urgup.

Highly recommend! The ambiance, service, and food were all excellent. The restaurant is family owned and has a welcoming, cozy vibe. Our waiter was very kind and friendly. My family and I had the testi kebap (pottery kebap) which is a meat/vegetable dish slow cooked in a clay jug. When it is ready, the waiter will crack the jug in front of you, so you get a mini cooking show as well as delicious kebap. My relatives had tried testi kebap before, and they thought that it tasted the best at this restaurant. This was my first time trying testi kebap and it was delicious!! If you are visiting Cappadocia, don't miss out on trying this unique, yummy dish!
