I came here for a solo brunch around noon on a rainy Wednesday in November 2019. The café was already very busy at the time, but there were a few small tables available and I was seated immediately. The décor inside is really cute. Because the café is so small, all the tables are really close together, but that's pretty common in a lot of places in Paris and other big cities, and I think it adds a certain coziness to the ambiance.
The owner speaks English and French, and the menu is also available in English and French. There were a lot of tasty-looking options on the menu, including avocado toast, a breakfast burrito, and the Dutch baby pancakes (savory and sweet options). I went with the Dutch baby pancake with veggies and an egg, since I'd wanted to try a Dutch baby pancake for awhile after watching a recipe video a couple months back. I also ordered a noisette coffee.
The noisette came out first, in a cute, tiny little cup; I think it was nice that they did some "latte art" for a even a small coffee. My Dutch baby pancake came out several minutes later, piping hot in a cast-iron skillet (the server warned me to be careful with it). The seasonal veggies were sweet potatoes, microgreens, and red onions, served with melting goat cheese, an egg, and maple syrup drizzled over it. The sweet potato portion was generous and filling, and I thought the syrup really complimented the goat cheese very well. I also loved the pancake itself; it was very airy and soft. I'd gladly get it again, and would love to try the sweet option one day.
The menu here is a bit on the pricy side for brunch/lunch food, but I felt it was worth it for the quality/quantity, especially keeping in mind it's Paris. I was able to use my American debit card to pay without any issues. The women sitting at the neighboring table got the avocado toast and the breakfast burrito and seemed really pleased with their orders as well. In speaking to the owner, it seems everything (including desserts) is made in-house, with the exception of bread for toast, which is (understandably) sourced from local boulangeries.
I'd definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in Paris and want a cute brunch/lunch!
