Ziggurat is a wonderful boutique hotel with only 14 rooms, so it is very comfortable and cozy - and the service is impeccable. Very personalized. All of the staff are very friendly and interested in you and what you do while you are there. They even offer umbrellas for your use! Rooms are not huge, but that is not why most people go on vacation - to spend time in their room. I stayed in one of the loft rooms and had a great view of the harbor, the castle, Herm, and Sark. Very comfortable bed, great shower, shared balcony outside my door, which I was able to use when it is was nice out. Very good food in the restaurant, with plentiful breakfast options included. Lots of steps, which is great for those of us trying to keep active. Very close to the bus terminals as well as the harbor. Also very close to the peaceful Candie Gardens. Small refrigerator in the room, so I could make use of the co-op across the court from the Constitution Steps, as well as the food hall in Marks & Spencer, just around the corner. A computer and printer are in the lobby area, making it easy to print my boarding passes. I highly recommend this hotel. Even locals who asked me where I was staying and would I recommend Ziggurat were pleased to hear about the benefits of the hotel.

Nice boutique hotel halfway up Constitution steps, so not suitable for everyone. My wife and I liked the morrocan theme running throughout the hotel and especially the small bar and dining area. Our room was compact but had a nice terrace with stunning views of St Peters and the hotel garden complete with huts for eating and drinking. Tea and coffee provided with lovely fresh milk. Comfy bed and a small but perfectly adequate bathroom. Breakfast was a mixture of cereal and yogurt with fruit and a choice of three freshly cooked hot options. Breakfast was good quality products. As stated hotel in a difficult place with suitcases you could have an issue but having said that we would stay again.

This hotel is worth the climb up and down the steps to town. The views over St Peter Port are fabulous and the hotel is lovely. The rooms are small but very efficient laid out and well appointed. I appreciated having a small fridge, kettle, tea pot and coffee press, as well as a small jug of milk for my tea. The bed and linens were plush and comfortable. The hotel is well kept, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is excellent, with delicious options for a made-to-order cooked breakfast. I would stay here again if I ever get to return to Guernsey.

We had a great stay at Ziggurat Hotel. We had lovely views and the staff were fantastic. Very well placed with a very short walk to town. There are a number of stairs to negotiate to get to the hotel but we managed that OK - that fact would stop me staying there again. The bar and breakfast area provided a relaxing space to chill. An excellent spot to explore St Peter Port.

I have just returned home from two night's at the exotic Ziggurat hotel in St. Peter Port. The website gives some idea of the unusual ambience of the place, but underestimates its tranquil environment, comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms, fantastic views of the harbour and sea, high-quality breakfasts and first-class evening meals. Add to all this, the unobtrusive, but friendly hosts, excellent cleanliness and proximity to the centre of town, and this is a hotel like no other - not to be missed. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and |I hope to be back soon for a proper holiday! (My only regret was not to get my 'free' glass of prosecco!

First time staying here. Wonderful hosts, extremely friendly and attentive. Beautiful decor and design with panoramic views from the balcony. Our meal in a heated hut was divine. A wonderful and eclectic blend of flavours. Definitely a place to return too in the warmer months.

This hotel is a hidden secret - slightly quirky but lovely friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. You do need to approach from the top of the steps as it’s a long climb up otherwise but it’s well worth the effort. Breakfast was really good - particularly recommend the bruschetta with chorizo, avocado and poached egg, and we took up the offer of a heated hut on the terrace - really unusual idea but it works. We didn’t eat in in the evening but the menu looks good and had we stayed a bit longer (we were only there three nights) we would have tried it. The rooms are quite small but really comfortable with individual balconies overlooking the town and the harbour and plenty of space to sit out (although we didn’t in very wet January!) The refurbishment is almost complete and it’s been well worth it. Definitely a place to stay if you’re in St Peter Port Guernsey.

Loved it, we had a upper floor harbour view room not that big but own balcony and amazing views. The restaurant is excellent and the back garden beautiful with a number of private dinning huts. There is no car access and 105 steps up or 45 down but well worth it as at the bottom of the stairs is the middle of town and almost at the harbour.
