Best beach club in Tulum. The food is amazing, the staff is extremely caring and they pay a lot of attention to food allergies. The beach is very relaxing, no music, lots of space between the beds which are very comfortable. There is the minimum spending rule that currently is set to $70. Parking is included. Be aware that you cannot include breakfast and dinner under this rule as they are kept separated.

We just spent the day there on the beach loungers. Minimum $75 per person which is pretty average in the area. The food menu looked decent so we decided to try it out. The menu is pretty pricey, but the food was tasty. Drinks were just okay, and they come in short glasses, so they go down too quickly. You can get cheap beer if that's your thing. All in all it was a pretty decent experience. It was not disappointing and we got to spend the day on a nice shady beach lounger.

One of the best experiences ever. My son and I had a 5 course meal at Ziggy's, located on the beach. It was incredible. Not enough words to describe the evening. Every dish was delicious. The meal consisted of tuna tartar, a garlic gnocchi dish, croaker and risotto, short rib, and this delicious dessert that had fresh strawberries, almonds and rose petals in it. 😋😋😋😋😋👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 Each dish was paired with a different wine. Dessert was paired with a lovely champagne. Our server, Kenneth, was absolutely wonderful. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly, and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone. We'll definitely be back. We will remember this dinner forever.

Having lived in Tulum for four months and visiting a different beach club each week, this one stands out as my favorite. The $50 minimum consumption for the beach daybeds is well worth it. The host who seated me was welcoming and attentive, setting the tone for an excellent experience. The food is, without a doubt, the best I’ve had at any beach club here—high quality and served in generous portions. The beach itself is beautifully laid out, with calm, flat waters ideal for relaxing without the interruption of waves. The only thing I dislike about the location is the water. There seems to be a pipe pumping cold water into the ocean. I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but the water temperature fluctuates between hot and cold!!

We came here just for lunch, super chill place and vibe with great service! A lot of places has minimum spend but for the lunch we just paid for what we ate. I highly recommend the seared tuna burger (come with avocado as well), the Ziggy burger looked also very good! Recommended!

Google
We have been here 3 times in two weeks and I can tell you that this is by far the best place in Tulum. We had breakfast every time and it was amazing each time we came. Food is fresh and delicious, also the drinks super good, from coffee to smoothies and other drinks. They also have fresh coconuts and they are delicious. The service was excellent Adolfo served us every time and I can tell you that he is by far the most attentive and friendly waiter in whole Tulum. Thank you Adolfo. The atmosphere is also 10/10 the beach view speaks for itself. Thank you

Google
We really enjoyed our time here. The food was great and the prices were very reasonable for the location. Eric was a very attentive server and really made the experience feel luxury. There is a minimum spend of $75 USD per person (approx $1500 pesos) but with their prices it's almost hard to get there without being too full. For two people ($3k pesos) we got 2 burgers, a salad, guacamole, 2 beers, a margarita, 2 matcha lattes, and 2 desserts and still had some room to spare. If you consider the prices of regular restaurants in the area and factor in the fact that you're at a private beach club it's a great deal.

Google
We spent the day at ziggy beach club, it was $75 minimum spend per person which is average price for the area. Beach beds were very comfy, food and drinks were delicious. My only reason for not giving 5* is there was no music being played and I would expect some music at a beach club on a Friday.

Rafael H.

Yelp
Great place for relaxation. Really glad they don't allow speakers in this venue. Food and service was amazing, special thank you to Erik that went above and beyond what I expected. Totally made our experience magical for my family and I. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Tulum. Weather was perfect the whole stay in the beach area.

Regis H.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with beach views and live mariachi - we walked in around 7pm and were able to get a great seat outside. Service was great - our waiter Brandon gave us recommendations and explained each dish as it came out. The food was amazing - we got the pork tacos, shrimp sopes, and al pastor dumplings. Everything was amazing but the pork tacos were the best!! We also got the octupus which was amazing with a nice smoky flavor. P.S one downside was that once the sun went down the mosquitos started killing us but the waiter got us repellant which was able to help a ton!

Tae S.

Yelp
Loved everything about this place. We ordered the longanizza sausage with eggs and beans. It had a smoky flavor and was accompanied by tortillas. The eggs rancheros were just fantastic - I barely stopped to breathe...lol. The flavor was amazing. The complimentary bread with cardamom butter and pineapple preserve was a nice touch. The green juice was fresh. The service was timely and friendly. The ambience is just right you are looking at the ocean and you hear the waves. We will be back.

Yelp
I went back to Ziggy's after first visiting about seven years ago. The beach club is still in the same location, though it has undergone some renovations. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, around 5 pm, and the place was nearly empty, with only about three occupied tables. We were seated in the inside zone immediately, even though we preferred to sit outside. It took the server about ten to fifteen minutes to come to our table to take our order. We had mini sopes and pork belly tacos. While the food was good, the menu wasn't very extensive; I wish they had more taco options. I'm not sure if I would return to the beach club on future visits to Tulum.

Rebecca C.

Yelp
We went to Ziggy's because we had heard great things and wanted a special treat. The location and atmosphere are a 10/10. The food was a 2, at best. The beef Barbacoa was dry and bland. The flank steak, ordered medium-well, was pink throughout and tough. Don't waste your time. Surely there are others around that location with good food.

Desiree D.

Yelp
Ziggy's was a restaurant connected to our hotel in Tulum and we ate breakfast here most mornings. Service was great at every meal. Loved the beach/ocean view. I'm missing it already.

Sergio P.

Yelp
Wow!! Ziggys was a perfect stop when in Tulum. We found Ziggys by word of mouth threw a local we met. As soon as you walk in you have a bunch of greenery, then you are greeted by the friendly host, who then takes you to your table of choice. They had great jams playing all around the restaurant. The food was so delicious. I started off with the tuna tartare, it was a tower of tuna tartare mixed with mango on a bed of a small amount of guacamole and topped of with sliced avocado and greens. So yummy. After I ordered their garlic prawns. Oh my you gotta try these. The prawns were very tasty, they served it with a salad glazed with their light house dressing. So delicious. I asked for a side of sauces to kick up my tastebuds. They have a habanero lime on that's really good if you like spice. Over all an amazing spot. Definitely recommend Ziggys if your hanging out in the beaches of Tulum

Sue S.

Yelp
Oh my God this place is so good. The vibes are super sexy and grown and magical. The live music makes it a super romantic spot. The food is heaven, and it's priced amazing for Tulum. Surprised more people don't eat here. The staff is super friendly and has great suggestions. They also speak English. That helps if you don't speak Spanish. Again the food so good the sopas are a must !

Tim H.

Yelp
Loved this beach club, spent the day eating and drinking in the sun sand and sea Service was excellent and I really like the couches Ziggy's is quiet but next door was booming so your not totally at peace

Maureen H.

Yelp
Amazing food and drinks on the beach. The food was yummy! We had the Shrimp Tacos Al Pastor, Shrimp Tacos Baja style and Shrimp empanadas. Superb!

Maya H.

Yelp
I've never been to a beach club so Ziggy's has set a high bar! We were in Tulum for a bachelorette celebration and this was probably my second favorite thing about the trip. honestly such a vibe. Sipping cocktails while lounging on the beach with the ocean as your soundtrack!? Sign me up! The shrimp tacos are a MUST and the tuna tartar was super fresh. Drinks weren't too strong which honestly doesn't bother me. Direct sunlight and heavy alcohol probably isn't the best mix haha. The next time I'm in Tulum, this will definitely be on my to-do list. Just a heads up to travelers: you will experience a lot of people trying to sell you trinkets on the beach. We just kindly declined.

Dr C.

Yelp
Food is on point, service is quick and very nice. The daily bread and spread is a nice touch and great surprise. Also handled my wife's gluten allergy very nicely.

Curtis S.

Yelp
This is a great lunch situation. One has the choice of enjoying drinks and/or lunch ONthe beach, beach front or dinning with a beach view. The today was beach front because it was so hot. The fish filet was the perfect portion for lunch but a warning I wasn't given was that the chillis in the meal was pretty spicy, the meal was still awesome. The service was great, it seemed every place visited the food took a minute to come out but it's my assumption it was because was fresh. I would certainly recommend Ziggy's to anyone looking for a fulfilling lunch date.

Navene S.

Yelp
We came here for dinner out first night. Starters: Shrimp open taco round thing, very good. 5/5 Entree: Prawns: on a bed of black bean puree and onions, delicious. 5/5 Mahi mahi: Mustard sauce on a bed of rice. Very good adventures flavors, daring combinations. 5/5 Empanadas: Unique flavor and taste. 4/5 Desserts: Tres leches: yummy. 4/5 Corn cake: Star of the show, best thing we had. Absolutely delicious corn cake. 5/5 Service: By Odwen: Very nice guy, genuine authentic cared about our experience recommended great dishes. Vibe: Great beach view, gorgeous restaurant, they had an inside where we played pool. Ambiance was great Overall 5/5. Great experience would recommend.

Terrah L.

Yelp
We truly randomly came across this place and sat at the bar!!! The bartenders were incredible . The drinks were delicious and I ordered the tuna nachos...the best thing ever. I still think about it frequently. I'll go back save just get the same thing because it was that good. I wanted to take a photo but I ate it too fast...

Minji S.

Yelp
I booked a wine tasting for my friend's Bachelorette party on Thursday. I have to say it was one of the favorite things I did in Tulum. Ziggy's was so accommodating of everything. Someone dropped out and I wanted a refund weeks in advance. No problem! Refunded right away. (Though I noticed they didn't let the other staff know, but it's okay). One of the members just told them that they don't drink wine at all or eat meat? No problem, they changed one of the appetizers (thankfully not many) that had meat into mushrooms. Also gave 2 mocktails instead of 5 wines. Chris, who handled the private wine tasting, was amazing and social. Knew a lot about the history of wines in Mexico and explained the different types and how they tasted different. He said he has been working only 1 week?!? Great job for sure! Appetizers complimented so well with the wine. It such a blast trying on all types of wines (2 red, 2 white, 1 rose). I highly recommend! If you want something after the appetizers, then you can stay at the same table and order more food. Honestly one of the food highlight of my trip. Great view, scenery, service... what else can you ask for?

Shah K.

Yelp
Out of all the restaurants we visited in tulum I felt like this was somewhat decent! The price was fair for most of the dishes, the ambience is also great! They have live music almost every night and the give free blankets if it's chili out. If I had to go back to a restaurant again while here I would definitely come back to this place

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Amazing service and atmosphere, right on the ocean. I had the octopus and it was amazing. You can also request butter on the side which made it extra tasty.

Corey G.

Yelp
Best Mayan cuisine I've had here. Azulik's food sucks compared to here! Ceviche was amazing. Octopus was great. Even the chicken fingers where hand made. Also drinks where kinda over priced but a well curated cocktails so don't mind paying for quality. Service was well attentive and spoke good English and knew the menu very well. 100$ -150$ per person but what do you expect. Everything is expensive nowadays. Vibe was great nothing to annoying but chill.

Prianka S.

Yelp
Went here for the beach club experience but keep in mind there is a $70 per person minimum. I got myself a Sol and my boyfriend got himself a margarita. The service offers towels at a price though. The views are amazing otherwise For food, I tried the tuna tartar, shrimp cocktail, Mayan octopus, and the battered shrimp tacos and all were really good. The octopus and tuna tartar were amazing. Overall, I'm happy with my experience here and it's a great place to come chill with your significant other.

Anne Marie O.

Yelp
I cant sad enough good things. The food is fresh and amazing. Mexican flavors to the max! Service is impecable and the place is a total vibe. It's our happy place and I'm just mad it's not our secret anymore.

Crystal M.

Yelp
We love Ziggy's. Not cheap but not outrageous like some surrounding restaurants and beach clubs. Been here a few times and will actually go back next month- have had a nice experience every time (table and day bed). The food is delicious as well as the drinks. They offer a few different styles of Ceviche- yum. The Mahi was probably the highlight of our most recent dinner, however the jicama empanadas were a close second. Beautiful beach front of course!

Julie C.

Yelp
Beautiful location down close to all the action on the south side of Tulum Beach. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have live music, but they were located next door to Selina which had a great music vibe. We experienced very good service, but at $50 per person minimum spend for a daybed, I expected it. The beach in front of this club was pristine, with crystal clear, warm, turquoise water. Bar had fun swing seats, a must in Tulum.

Sara R.

Yelp
This place was pretty overpriced but the views and aesthetic are worth it. The cheeseburger was so yummy and juicy. Don't recommend the chicken-strips they tasted dry. The smoothie wasn't as cold as I would've preferred. The chocolate cake was delicious!!! Service was very fast! Food came out quick

Nancy H.

Yelp
The service, food and ambience was amazing! This will definitely be on our list of places to visit every-time we are in Tulum! If you pay for food - you can stay and play in the beautiful water at no additional charge.

Sasha G.

Yelp
Best food we had in Tulum, in our entire stay. Fresh. Simple. Full of flavors. Friendly staff. Beautiful views. Just lovely. Must try.

Hayao M.

Yelp
Excellent service and delicious food in a paradise setting. Live music every night including mariachi's on Tuesday night. We enjoyed visiting this spot multiple times during our 6 days in Tulum. It's the perfect setting and I liked that it didn't have nightclub loud level music. It was perfect & drinks were delicious too.

Teresa B.

Yelp
Amazing meal with family and friends. Lovely outdoor dining area with enough shelter to handle one heck of a thunderstorm. There was a wonderful mariachi band playing, perfectly low lighting, and attentive service. We had a large group and ordered nearly everything on the menu. Everything was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and sizzling hot. The hibiscus empanadas are something I am finding I cannot stop thinking about! I wish I could have more. It was a magical evening out with friends and family I hadn't seen in quite a while. Really a special meal.

Erica N.

Yelp
Such a nice place with friendly staff and great food! They have really tasty fresh juice (hibiscus was awesome). We went for breakfast and I had pancakes, French toast and eggs all looked good as well. They give you complimentary bread butter jam. I'd like to come back here and sit on the beach area.

Javier L.

Yelp
Loved this place! Wonderful service--the host and wait staff were incredibly friendly. Food was delicious! And not mention the beautiful beach views and great music making the overall ambiance such a vibe. Def recommend!

Umar M.

Yelp
Ziggy's has been a wonderful place with good food and service. It is one of the restaurants attached to The Beach Hotel in Tulum. Everything I had here from breakfast to lunch was just amazing. The staff was very courteous and the ambiance of Ziggy's with the beach view was ideal. Couldn't really ask for a better experience. 4.3/5

Elle F.

Yelp
The first time we went the service and food was great. Super nice view of the beach. The fish tacos were also bomb. The fish ceviche was super fresh and delicious. We asked them to make it super spicy and they added a habanero sauce to give it a nice kick. Sucks the second time around wasn't as good. The second time around the service wasn't so great and the waiter messed up our order twice. Also the chips tasted super stale and old . Made me loose my appetite since we ordered ceviche and wasn't appetizing eating it with stale chips . Didn't come back after the second time.

Jerusha T.

Yelp
Ziggy's has always been a favorite of mine to visit since I first came to Tulum yearsssss ago! I usually rent a bike and make it a point to stop by and grab lunch here! Delicious mocktails - take suggestions from the bar staff because they definitely know how to whip up a good drink! One time I came here on my own during an evening of live music, and it was so nice just sitting in the swing chairs next to the bar, with my feet in the sand enjoying the casual and relaxing ambience. Be sure to try the octopus- Omgggg yum! It's nice to take a stroll down to beach as well.

Casey A.

Yelp
Friends and I were really hungry and took our hotel front desk's suggestion to check out Ziggy's. We expected it to be just another hotel-type food restaurant but we were really pleasantly surprised! The food was really good and fresh. I got the ceviche and it was light, fresh and delicious. A great healthy option. Other friends got the fresh juices and tacos and the portion sizes were huge and everything was really delicious. Not to mention that the view and ambience was great! Great views of the beach while you were eating but still really comfortable seating. The service was really helpful and friendly as well. Would definitely recommend.

Amit M.

Yelp
Cool spot to come during the day for drinks and to hangout. There's regular tables you can sit at or you can go to the beach club area where you get a mini cabana setup with chairs/beds on the beach. Just note for the beach club, the minimum spending per person is $70 USD. Food is good, drinks are good, and this place is definitely a chill laid back beach club to go to if you're looking for a place to chill and drink.

Diane C.

Yelp
We went to Ziggys two times for dinner on our trip to Tulum, and I wish we went every evening. Not only was the food exceptionally delicious and unique, Ziggy's was the only restaurant where we didn't have to fight flies and mosquitoes during our meal. While food is important at a restaurant, having to fend off bugs while you try to eat is probably one of the worst experiences a person can have, especially knowing the meal will cost more than $200 USD. I won't name names, but we went to two other very highly recommended (highly priced) restaurants, both of which had good food, but it felt like a fend-for-yourself, lord-of-the-flies situation when our food came. Literal lord of the flies. You could not take a bite without thinking it may buzz in your mouth. Meanwhile being "jungle side" meant stagnant air, which meant mosquitos. I had 15 bites at the end of one of our dinners. The mosquito smoke they use lasts about as long as the smoke is visible, and the smoke kind of ruins the food. But at Ziggys, because of the beach wind, we didn't really have issues with bugs, and we ate in peace with a lovely breeze and cheesy (but very lively) saxophone player. I highly recommend eating here if you're type O+ and a magnet for mosquitos.

Dee D.

Yelp
Went to Tulum and this place was recommended as opposed to Taboo (which was a few doors down). This was recommended because of pricing and food. The house chips and dip were seriously some of the best I've had. The homemade ranch dip was great. Service was really good. I was able to get beach towels and lay out on the day bed. This place does have a minimum to spend, but it's not a crazy overpriced Tulum minimum. I had chicken tenders just to have food on my alcohol and they were fresh cut strips of chicken breast. Not frozen. The ziggy margarita w clase azul and couintrea (sp) was BOMB. After a few I was nice and right. The water, the weather, the service and the food were all top notch here.

Sein G.

Yelp
My friends and I went to this place on our first night in Tulum for dinner. Divide was really good I was nice to sit outside got a little windy but not too bad we went there in January. Order flank steak dinner With roasted vegetables with chimichurri sauce on the side which was wonderful. I also tried their sangria which was decent but was not too strong. There was live music playing at which was also great. It is definitely a romantic place. I will return again.

Amanda B.

Yelp
I could definitely see a whole day being spent here since they have everything you need to enjoy an amazing beach day. They have great drinks, good deals, amazing food, and the space to do whatever you want. They have a cute bar and a pool table in case you wanted to do something different on the beach. They also have beds and service right on the beach! The food was really really good. We started with complimentary chips and dip which tasted really good but we couldn't leave without getting this amazing guacamole the waiter suggested. It was really good too. I had the Carne Asada Tacos which were very flavorful and quite filling. Also, they have a great happy hour menu and really good drinks!!! Overall, this was a great restaurant and I am so glad we came plus the view was amazing!! Great experience!

Alex H.

Yelp
Stopped by Ziggy's for breakfast. One immediate pro is that they were one of the few places open and serving breakfast at 10:00am on a Monday morning. The service was great and we were seated immediately upon arrival. There is beachfront seating and tables located inside next to the bar. They started out giving us some fresh bread with a pineapple sauce and another spread. The bread with pineapple sauce was hands down the best! For main course we had chilaquiles, fried eggs, ehh white omelette, breakfast potatoes, avocado, and banana pancakes. Everything tasted great to me except for the chilaquiles. It may have been because we were in a rush and I didn't really think my order through. I like my chilaquiles to be a bit crunchy and this one was more like a soup. Really appreciate the service by Alex and the team. My rating is in no way indicative of the service just the overall visit. If I had more time I would stop by again and try the lunch or dinner options.

Yagmur E.

Yelp
Great ambiance, beautiful view! Has a cute small beach in front. Good food, drinks and guacamole! Friendly service! Recommend for a chill time.

Cuc N.

Yelp
It's a $50 minimum spending per person to be able to utilize the beach beds. It sounds a lot at first, but in the end, totally worth it. Natural coconut. All of us ordered a coconut to drink for ourselves. I just wish they carved the opening of the hole bigger so that I can use a spoon to scrape the coconut off the insides of the walls. Otherwise, we finished drinking this too fast. Maestro Tequilero. Tracey wanted tequila so we ordered tequila. Actually, they ordered two bottles.. and finished both. They think the alcohol was diluted because 1) We finished two bottles between 8 girls and was completely fine. That does not seem right. 2) It was not sealed when it came to us. 3) The bottle from the grocery tasted a lot stronger when we bought to compare. Tropico. Sailor Jerry Rum, aromatic bitter, coconut cream, passion fruit, and cinnamon syrup. Here is my cocktail because I cannot survive if I solely drank liqueur by itself. I chose a very sweet and fruity cocktail that didn't even taste like alcohol. Yes, I am a weak sauce like that and not ashamed of it! Let me sip on my weak drink and I will still have a good time! Chips and salsa on the house. There were three type of salsa. The green and red ones were obvious. But all three tasted delicious!!!! Our waiter gave us three of these platters! Guacamole Ziggy's. Served with fresh herb braised Panela cheese. This was soo good and filled with chunky avocado. It tasted very fresh too. The cheese was hard to scoop because it already hardened so I had to use a knife to cut it into chunks. Ceviche Caribe. Shrimp, mango, red onion, mint, cucumber, jicama and a passion fruit-coconut mix. The ceviche tasted very refreshing and light. I loved the shrimp. The fruits were amazing. Tuna Nachos. Fresh tuna marinated in soy sauce, sesame seed oil, avocado and sirarcha mayonnaise with cilantro sprouts on a fried wonton. This was my favorite! I love the generous chunks of tuna and avocado. The sesame seed oil gave it an Asian flair. The spicy mayo is a safe sauce for them to choose. It was like spicy tuna sushi roll done tostada style. Pros: -very friendly and attentive service until the bill mistake -complimentary salsa and chips for us -the beach beds were great! $50 minimum spending limit isn't that bad actually Cons: -the waiter told us 3000pesos for the bottle of tequila. Then said it was a mistake that it's 3300 pesos for a larger bottle but he'll give us a 30% discount. Had to resolve the issue with the manager after they ridiculously overpriced us on the final bill so they fixed it -the waiter DID apologize for messing up our bill -the restroom floors are slippery!!!! Be careful! I slipped and cracked my knuckle on the wall -they definitely diluted our tequila bottles. No, it did not come sealed

Jack M.

Yelp
This is a shady spot right on the beach in Tulum. It's a bit quieter than other venues in the area, which I liked. We started with Guacamole. It was fresh, well balanced in fats, acids, and bitterness. And it was a generous portion. I did find the garlicky cheese at the base to be slightly overpowering and off-putting. As a main I ordered the burger. This was probably the best burger I've had in Mexico (and I've stayed 3 months). The meat was flavorful, loosely packed, not overly salty or overground. The bun was soft but not quite as chewy as I'd prefer. The fries were standard burger fries. Overall I enjoyed my lunch at Ziggy's.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Review We had an amazing experience here. We wanted to find a place to relax on the beach and this place came out of the park. It's a minimum of $ 50 USD for a beach bed and that applies to food and beverages. Yorch was incredibly hospitable and accommodating. The food was incredibly delicious and the staff was hard at work. The beach was covered in algae, but the staff were working hard to clean it up. Thank you Ziggy's for making our last day in Tulum a memorable one. We will be back!

Nidhi T.

Yelp
Great ambiance, awesome service, good and fresh food, we enjoyed our first dinner in Tulum at Ziggy's. Definitely worth a visit. We had the ya a dumpling, tuna nachos, Jamaican empanadas, Mahi Mahi in mustard and mango and the zarandeado style shrimp. Everything was yummy, the shrimp probably our least favourite though.

Teresa J.

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal at Ziggys with great service. Our server Kuamy was knowledgeable and attentive as was the assistant server. A live band was playing, very good and not too loud at all. Unfortunately towards the end of our meal a very drunk, loud and obnoxious group of 5 Russians were seated near us. To say they ruined the end of a good evening is an understatement. They said some very rude things to our server, I guess maybe joking around but they should had been told to leave. One of the ladies looked like she was about to pass out. Not the restaurant's fault and Kuamy apologized to us and other guests for their behavior. We will be going back again because the food is outstanding!

Bianca G.

Yelp
The best smoothie I've ever had along with delicious chips and salsa, a beautiful atmosphere, and great drinks. We have been talking about this place ever since we left Mexico. The chips and salsa were complimentary and came with an AMAZING ranch-style dip that tasted almost like cheese dip to me. We tried 2 different smoothies, which were a highlight of our trip because of the fresh taste and amazing flavor. We were not staying in Tulum, but our driver recommended this place because they were "more friendly and less pretentious". Situated on a beautiful part of the beach, we were able to sit and enjoy the view and relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
If you're looking for a restaurant in Tulum for lunch or dinner, look no more. Ziggy's offers delicious meals and a beachfront view with plenty of greenery. The restaurant has a bohemian type look with a laid-back feel which makes it a great place to relax and have drinks. As you walk in, you notice a bar with swing seating around it- what a great idea! We sat at the tables closest to the beach. They also have couches on the sand where you can relax after your meal or for drinks. We ordered guacamole, tequila shrimp tacos, and a burger. The guacamole and chips were great. The burger was full of flavor. I personally did not enjoy the sauce on the shrimp tacos, but the shrimp were fresh. Ziggy's was my favorite restaurant in Tulum. Highly recommend!

Yelp
My s.o. & I stayed in a hotel adjacent to Ziggy's, so came here our first night in Tulum. We were not disappointed. First, the ambiance: the restaurant has wonderful views of the beach, and is touched by a leisurely blowing sea breeze. We went on Sunday night, when live music plays. Tonight, the star of the show was a saxophonist who covered popular songs. 10/10. The drinks: we got cocktails, which were pretty decent, but we elected to switch to beer and wine after. The food: everything we ordered was excellent. We started with shrimp sopes, which were creamy and delicious. My dining mate ordered the mahi mahi, which was very well-cooked and extremely flavorful. I ordered the octopus, which was not only exceptionally grilled, but was the largest single order of octopus I've ever had (see photos). Excellent value and delicious food with a fantastic atmosphere. 5 stars!
