What a cool discovery in PHX. Had 30 minutes to catch my breath and pulled in to Ziggy’s. Mostly for free parking! Ordered some food which was super fast and yummm. Ok because of free parking and Beer! Turns out the beer section is like a speak easy though a freezer door and what a surprise. Full bar, table service, pinball machines, and clean restrooms! Total score on all fronts. Outside seating with you favorite beverage or inside to have the pinball championship with your friends. I will bring the kids before 9 pm to eat chill and play pinball!!! Worth a visit… Enjoy

PIZZA in a somewhat PINCH! Ziggy’s was a life-saver considering I wanted a pizza at 10:30pm after a trip to the Suns game nearby. I was staying at the Hampton Inn with family so I placed a delivery order, I waited 45 mins for my extra-large pepperoni pizza. The online ordering system was a little whack, it took me a minute to get my order right. However, i eventually figured it out and was able to track my food. The wait was reasonable considering the DT Phoenix traffic and buzz following the game. My pizza came right at the approximate time, we received our order at the hotel lobby! The pizza was solid, I’d say it’s in the middle of the pack when it comes to local pizza. I would like to try their other options as the pepperoni was amazing.

Such a cool spot! We walked in and were underwhelmed, not realizing we needed to walk down the hallway to a super cool vibe and experience. You get transported to awesome music, crazy-cool lighting, some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered (shout-out to Rachel), and just a good, relaxing time with fun food and drinks. The pizza was pretty great if not groundbreaking, but it is certainly elevated by the rest of the experience. A cold beer and pinball brings it all together! I plan to check this spot out anytime I am in downtown Phoenix and you should too.

Ziggys truly is a Magic place - recommended to me by numerous locals for its incredible quality and affordable rates. Plus - plenty more Magic in this seemingly unsuspecting Pizza Shop! It’s Pizza! It’s Bowie! It’s More! What MORE could you want?!? Phoenix had been FULL of 6/5 star placed and Ziggy’s is NO exception. 🖤

Best lunch special in downtown Phoenix. For $11-$14 you can get two slices and a drink or swap out a slice for 4 wings. And the motif is Ninja Turtle stuff because they loved pizza. Food comes out fast, in and out in 5 minutes, tops. Best of all they're open on a Tuesday, unlike some nearby pizza shops.

We went into the city a few days ago to see a show at the Arizona Financial Theatre, and stopped here for a quick bite to eat before. Ziggy's is really close, only a 5 minute walk north! We enjoyed the pizza, wings, drinks and due to the great staff we still had plenty of time to fit in some pinball before heading over to the Theatre!

I would drive 20 hours just to come back here again with my friends! Pizza meets karaoke meets pinball and a secret speakeasy. My group started our night out by singing “I want it that way” on a rainbow disco floor and ended with garlic knots (I’m still thinking about how good they are). If you’re there for the bar you’ve gotta try the starburst.

My bad, I already started going to town before my photo. The only negative I have to say is I hate living so far from here but when in the neighborhood, I always stop for a slice or buffalo fries(pictured). The staff are friendly and mellow. If you have not been, definitely worth a visit. More than just good pizza. I promise!

I love the retro decor and the secret door to the game/dining room! They have outdoor seating in the front. You order at the counter and wait for them to call your name to grab your order. We took our food through the secret door to eat in the game room. Loved the club vibe in there. I ordered a slice of the special of the week pizza. The thin crust was burnt and the whole thing was crispy. I did not like the pizza but I did like the buffalo fries. The fries were crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. The buffalo chicken was fresh and tasty.

Came here on a Tuesday around 2pm. It was pretty quiet. Back was open but no servers or anything back there so you had to order in the front and take it to the back which is fine! Last time at cane was on a Sunday and there were servers in the back to aid in receiving your items easily. We brought our son this time (3.5 years old). He had lots of fun. Was very kid friendly for the time frame and day we went. Food is cheaply priced and tastes well along with being decently sized

You would have to pay me to eat this pizza. It's cheap for a reason. I will say the pinball and bar area has nice ambiance but for pizza it's just not worth it. Greasy and falls apart super easily. 5/10

Got invited by a friend after the Suns game and it was perfect for the occasion. Got there before a crowd came. Pizza is okay, I think their crust isn't as soft as I would prefer but it's still very good. Delicious sauce and I love how cheesy the pizza was. Service was great, and pretty fast! It's one of those chill late night, after a concert type pizza places. If you have ever been to Austin, TX you'll probably compare it to a 6th street pizza stop. I'm from Texas, and those are the vibes I get. That's a good thing. I also learned that it's actually next to a really popular concert hall! Would definitely recommend. Keep in mind it is downtown so if you are there after a certain time frame, understand the type of crowd you will see!

This checks the box for a decent divey pizza joint. Cheap pizza, greedy, open late.... Service was pretty quick for a busy concert night. The shop itself is tiny but the gem here is the hidden arcade

Waiting in line for a concert, we noticed a cute, nostalgic pizza joint that everyone seemed to be flocking to afterward. We decided to give it a try, and we were pleasantly surprised! The service was quick, and the place was clean. The nostalgic atmosphere inside was amazing, filled with old-school charm. They had Ninja Turtles and all kinds of 80s memorabilia, including toys and other neat items, which added a nice touch. As for the pizza, we weren't sure what to expect based on its appearance, but that first bite was incredible. The wings and the pepperoni pizza were delicious. They offer a lot of cool stuff on the menu, and you can order by the slice, which is a nice option. Overall, I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you're in the area.

Being from NE I was a bit skeptical to try out NY style pizza but I was genuinely impressed by the taste and quality of the pizza! They innovation with some of the flavor incorporated in the specialty pies were great!

I've been here twice and both times my experience has been great. I most recently stopped by around 10pm after a concert and the line wasn't too bad. The cashier was very friendly as she took my order. I ordered the two slices of pizza and drink combo and the price was great. I got us a table outside and by this time, the line was longggggggg af. It got to be very crammed in the patio area as the line to order snaked its way through here out past the front gate. The pizza was delicious as I remember it being and it was hot and crispy. I cannot wait to be back!

Another downtown Phoenix pizza gem! We absolutely love love love Ziggy's pizza. They have the best ninja turtle slice pizza in town!!! So good and have many options to choose from. They have loaded fries that are beyond delicious. If you're not in the pizza mood head back to their speakeasy and play some game in the back and grab a drink such a neat environment.

Excellent pizza place next to Van Buren. The have a nice selection of pizzas to choose from. You buy by the slice or pie. They also allow you to split the pizza in half with different toppings. The staff was efficient and kind.

Came here for a quick bite before a concert at the Financial Theatre. We didn't go into the pinball/bar area so I can't speak for that, but it's a fun-looking pizza joint, especially the interior. Very tight space where they serve the pizza. The service is easy and quick. We sat outside and though it was hot, because of the mister it felt pretty nice. The GF pie was ok. The cheese slid right off the crust so was pretty hard to eat lol

Solid NY style slices, enjoyed the cheese, but be prepared to wait. Ours took 15 minutes for 3 slices. This is attached to Stardust Pinball. Show your ID here to get into Stardust Pinball. Just here for pizza? Then go straight to the register. Has a parking lot and nearby street parking.

The food is amazing and fast. The service was amazing and everyone was polite. The seating was full of pinball machines and there where lots of murals on the wall.

Super fun spot and the ambiance is great for a late night vibe! Definitely check out stardust pin bar in the back for drinks and dancing and grab some drunk pizza after from Ziggys! Service was pretty standard and quick considering they just heat up your slice in the oven. Pizza is pretty average. Nothing bad nothing amazing. Good spot for drunk pizza and it serves its purpose there. They do have rotating speciality slices which I enjoyed! Would not recommend the garlic knots. They were almost stale and hard. recommend this spot for a late night slice!

8th stop right after Stardust. It was a little after midnight, I think. Majority of us ordered pizza and one ordered a salad. Line wasn't super long to order at the time so we were able to get that in quick and grab a table outside. I chose the slice with the fresh tomatoes not realizing it was a white pie. Or order was ready not long after ordering. For me, the white pie was just okayyy. Idk why I thought it was a margherita slice. Too many drinks that day lol. I couldn't finish it all. Im sure I would've enjoyed the other slices with red sauce way more.

Really good pizza. Is like New York style. Honestly better than new pizza spots, in my opinion. Got the Hawaiian, didn't really taste as anything. Got the hot honey and it was delicious. Also the bbq chicken was was good too. The wings were really good! They have pinball machines and etc for 21+ only.

Genuinely the worst pizza place in Phoenix. Used to be so good but over the years it's gotten worse and worse. Last night I waited about 25-30 min for ONE slice. Second time this has happened to me. The slice should be put in the oven as soon as it's ordered and only takes about 2-4 minutes to heat up. I finally gave up and left without my slice. Source: worked at a pizza place for years. It's ran by a bunch of children who don't care. Slices are way too small. A few months ago when I did get my slice (which took 20 minutes) I couldn't finish it because it was so bad. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Via Della.

If you're looking for amazing pizza with that classic New York feel, this is the spot! The pizza is incredible, with the perfect balance of crust, sauce, and cheese that reminds me of the best NYC pizzerias. Service is great! But the real magic is the hidden dining area. You go through a 'freezer' in the back to find it, and the theme inside is something you just have to experience for yourself. I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the downtown area--it's always worth it!

So sad that our pizza crust was totally obliterated... and the fact we had to wait like 15 minutes for a slice of BURNT pizza is just super unfortunate

Just a really cool Place to grab a slice of pie. Our usual go to when seeing. A show at the Van Buren. It can be crowded so prepare for that.

I didn't eat! My girlfriends ate. They said they give it a 3 star review. It's a walk up spot for late night pizza wings, munchie type food. There's a pinball/arcade room next door. They ID o. The inside of ziggy's. And there's an outdoor patio also. They gave the fries a 4.5 and the pizza 3 so the average is 3 stars lol. Give em a try if you're in the area.

6/15/24: not gonna lie, I totally did not even think of David Bowie when I decided to try Ziggy's. I just wanted good pizza. We got that, along with wonderful garlic bread, and I think more importantly, a fun blast-from-the-past experience. Would we return? Yeah - but I think my meal would be strictly the garlic bread. PARKING LOT IS LIMITED! Longer version: I had noticed the small lot on Google Maps so knew parking would be trick, which is why this particular Saturday we arrived early, at 4 o'clock. We walked in the front door and I thought "this is it? order at the counter?" but then the gal behind the counter must have seen our confused expressions and told us where to go (in a nice way! ha ha!). There was a hallway to walk down and it was as if we were walking into a meat locker. Maybe this location used to be a butcher shop ... ? It was a bit disconcerting, but in a good -- especially when we read the sign above the door. That sign was the beginning of a good time. Once we opened that door, it was like I was a teenager again: funky light "dance" floor, dizzy hallway to the bathrooms, pinball machines along both walls, a token machine, the bar area had old pinball skeletons on the walls, and just some damn good vibes all around the joint. The staff was friendly, the menu gave us some chuckles, and the food was good. The pizza crust was thin, which I was thankful for (especially since we got fries and the bread), and the slices were huge.

Coming from NYC, the NY style pizzas here are actually pretty good. Sometimes they're a bit doughier or burnt than I'd like or used to. However, the Pretty Fly for a White Guy Pizza (white pizzas are my favorite) was really good. My husband loves their pepperoni pizza. Fan of the fun, unique names for sure. The wings are alright. I'd steer clear of the cannolis though, couldn't finish mine - not a fan of the taste. Don't bring the cannolis with you. Only ordered and had the pizzas delivered so cannot wait to visit in person and play some pinball! Love the Mars Attacks vibe and decor!

Additionally, since Ziggy's is next to the Van Buren, a popular music concert venue, the area can get crowded, especially when there's a big show. The outside can sometimes be busy with people waiting in line, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Also, don't forget to check out the back (wink, wink)! There's a speakeasy-style bar back there, which adds another layer of cool to this already amazing spot. When I was under 21, I couldn't wait to be able to experience it, and when I finally could, I was not disappointed! After grabbing some delicious pizza, I usually head to the back for a drink or two and some fun on the pinball machines. It's the perfect way to end a visit. If you're in downtown and looking for a fun, laid-back place with great food and even better vibes, Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop is the place to be!

This was my fav pizza spot. Brings all the vibes & pizza is gassss. I live across the street & am disappointed it's $4-$5 for a slice of pizza now... prices nearly doubled :( sad to say I had my last casual ziggys slice tonight.

Pie so good, it's like a hug on the inside inside. The hidden bar/secret room/pinball area is super cool also.

Amazing place, amazing service and the ambiance was incredible. I will now say that this is one of my new favorite spots to go to and is very much affordable and the food extremely tasty. Nothing negative at all!

Never order from this place for delivery, placed order and they advised 1 hour the hour came and they said another 45 minutes it came and went; then when we called they cancelled our order. We were so hungry and it was late at night so everything is closed.

We came here after a Diamondbacks game. Found refuge from the blistering heat, post-game traffic, and cooled off in Ziggy's with Pizza and Pinball. The pizza was pretty good, and just a fun experience. My only complaint was that there were several pinball machines out of order, and the floors could use more frequent mopping as there were a lot of sticky spots on the floor at the pinball machines.

Great ambiance, service was quick and efficient and food was excellent! Can't wait to come back to town to enjoy.

Always hit up Ziggys when in town. Great specials and the crust is the best. Toppings are not the greatest quality. Wings are solid and a salad is a must. Always fresh.

The classic Pepperoni Slice was a delicious initiation, and the Maui Waui and The Boss slices didn't disappoint either. The thin, slightly crispy, and chewy crust with the perfect cheese and toppings ratio showcased the quality of their ingredients. The tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, ham, pineapple, sausage, and bacon all demonstrated a commitment to excellence. While indoor seating is not available, the attached arcade bar, Stardust Pinbar, provides a unique solution. Accessible through a secret speakeasy entry, it immerses you in the '70s and '80s disco aesthetics, with a color-changing dance floor and a Mars Attacks! theme. The bar offers a variety of pinball machines. During my Sunday visit around 12 PM, there was no wait, and the bar offered ample seating. You bet I went and played some pinball.

Ziggys is a great location in downtown Phoenix. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Most don't know behind the doors that look like you're heading to the kitchen is seating in an arcade. Good pizza and wings. Their combos are perfect and my go-tos. So far I've tried their pepperoni pizza, bbq chicken pizza , their wings and garlic knots. I hope you enjoy garlic as those knots will leave your breath kicking , but they are soooooo worth it. We have also ordered their large pies for the office and they were great as well. Staff is great. Attentive and they call your order out when it's ready to pick it up, just be careful lifting the paper plate.

Randomly stumbled upon this place! These is a pizza joint out front that services huge slices! Then in the back is StarDust pin bar, a full service bar and pinball machines. You can also order pizza from the front and they will bring it to the back. Service was okay.... The waitress and bartender weren't very friendly.

This is a fun place that I took my 2 young grandsons to. My 11 year old grandson fell in love with their pizza and when he found the secret door to the pinball room, he was as excited as when he discovered Harry Potter video games. My younger grandson is 9, he's autistic and the pinball room has a light up floor and music, this was his happy place, spinning and dancing and singing til his hearts content. I'm not giving my opinion of the pizza since I'm a weirdo and not a pizza fan. But this is a place I will continue to recommend. FYI: My hubby loved their pizza and wings.

After reading such mixed reviews (I.e., "worse than Papa John's" or "Best pizza in Phoenix" - lol!!) I honestly had no idea what to expect. Maybe that was the key, no expectations? Either way, the staff was cool, the pizza was good, and the pinball bar was fun. You can go back to play while you wait which is a great way to spend time especially if you're hungry. It would be nice if they had those little buzzing discs you can take to let you know your order is ready or maybe an intercom system to call names. I went to check on our pizza and it wasn't ready. When I went back 5 mins later, they remembered me and the name on the order. I appreciated that. The pinball machines take a dollar to play which is a little pricey but isn't that the theme in 2023? Overall it was fun and I'd go back. Better than Papa John's but not quite the best in Phoenix ;-)

Ziggy's Pizza is an amazing place for gourmet pizza and pinball! The Bidi Bom pizza was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balanced with tangy tomato sauce, gooey mozzarella, zesty pepperoni cuppers, creamy ricotta, and just the right kick of hot honey. Each bite was a journey of delight for the taste buds. Five stars without a doubt! The kid and I loved the Godzilla pinball machine as well as the decor and atmosphere of the place. Kids are allowed until 9pm or 10pm. Great friendly service made the night awesome.

Really hard to find parking when they're busy as their parking lot is the size of a postage stamp. They also blocked off the wheelchair accessible spots for delivery vans which is illegal. Luckily my friend who uses a wheelchair was able to find a spot that could accommodate her. The pizza joint out front was hopping and we had to wait a while for our orders as the line grew to the point that it was blocking the pick up window. I got two slices of pepperoni and was unable to order garlic knots as they stopped their apps with the order before mine. Unlucky for me. My friends got bbq chicken pizza, pizza fries, and the pizza with the chicken nuggets on it. This is NY style pizza and it was good pizza. Nothing to write home about but given that my good pizza opinion forming days were spent in Chicago I may be biased. We managed to get a seat in the pinbar in the back and we ate there while listening to the live dj and watching people dance. I enjoyed the pinbar but my only complaint is that the music kept being turned up with every song. It was already loud when we went in and by the time we left I couldn't hear myself think and people on the patio had to practically scream to hear each other. Loud music is fine in a bar with such an active dancefloor but it shouldn't be ear shattering, especially when it was thumping already.

What's not to love about Ziggy's?!! I always get the Bidi Bidi Bom Bom slice with some wings because they're delicious! All the slices are delicious!

If you want to wait for an hour to get subpar pizza and fries saltier than the Dead Sea then please come here.

Love love love this spot ! One of the hands down cutest speakeasy's in PHX. They vibe is amazing and the Dj is great. Lots of delicious cocktails on the menu to choose from. I loved getting a souvenir cup, I thought that was so fun and a great touch. Of course had to try some of the famous pizza, it was everything it's talked up to be absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this stop either for a bite to eat or on your downtown journey. It's a super fun cocktail bar.

This was an interesting place of course. It seems the slices night be better straight from the pie, but they were still above average with slightly more grease than usual. Also tried the chicken parmesan sandwich for $11, but that wasn't good. The chicken was cut uo in tiny pieces and the sauce was chunky. Pinball machine tilted on me for no reason and unsupervised kids running around without employees telling them to stop.

The $0.17 experience Went to come check this place out with my cousins. Pizzas, arcade, and beer sounds great am I right? Wrong. I'm from out of town and it's my First time visiting this place and it seemed like a nice place to spend my last night here in Phoenix. The lady at the register sold us on delicious pizzas for 2 dollars, WHY NOT?! Seems like a great deal! It was just me and my 2 other cousins. In the restaurant and 3 people who have already received their food, at this point it's basically empty. I ordered my slice and my 2 cousins followed after. Within 4 minutes my cousins received their pizza and I was left to wait for mine. 6 minutes have passed, 10 minutes has already elapsed since walking in. At this point my cousins were basically almost done eating and I came up to check on it. Edgar who was too stoned out of his mind to make sure a pre cooked pizza was in the oven replied with "Ight I'll put it in." 4 minutes passed and I received the smallest and most embarrassing slice I've ever seen and decided to go for a refund because at this point I was livid of the disrespect. I go up to the counter and I asked for a refund and said that the pizza was cold. As I proceed to ask for a refund at the cash register I was met with the energy of a child who couldn't take no for an answer. Acting like she poured her heart out to make this pizza. She kept saying how it's only a 2 dollar slice with a condescending tone basically making me look like I can't pay 2 dollars for a tiny ass slice. If it was ONLY 2 dollars you didn't have to make a scene or disrespect your customers in anyway. It is only 2 dollars and you're willing to talk down about a customer in front of other customers? A few more dollars and you can get an actual hot and ready with pepperoni minus the verbal nonsense lmao. Anyways they pocketed my $0.17 for the pizza and I left pizzaless, arcadeless, and beerless. So now this place owes me 17 cents lol.
