Zimt & Zucker by Kata - Stuttgart

The waiters were nice, but the food wasn’t really good and the prices are too high for what you get in the plate… it’s looks good for sure but it’s not very tasty. We both ordered some toasts for 14,5€ each and were definitely not full at the end. Maybe we should have chosen the pancakes. The atmosphere is nice though !

Zimt & Zucker ultimately offers great food, but the experience is spoiled by painfully slow service, leading to a disappointing 3-star rating. Our visit was marked by extreme delays: a 20-minute wait just to place our order, another 20 minutes for drinks, and a full 60 minutes passed before the main meal arrived. While the quality of the food was high and truly excellent, it couldn't redeem the frustration caused by the hour-long service bottleneck. Unless you have several hours to spare and genuinely don't mind substantial delays, we cannot recommend this cafe.

Robust and flavorful, and not just because I'm a glutton for goat cheese! It felt really balanced for a breakfast and my husband and I both left full and happy. The woman at the front was cheeful and kind. We were happy that this was our goodbye from Stuttgart!

​Loved the food, but it took way too long to get here, 30+ minutes! Not sure if that's normal or just bad luck today. Pancakes were flawless, though!

We visited the restaurant for brunch. After waiting over 15 minutes without being approached to place an order, we decided to leave. The interior looked pleasant, but based on our experience that day, we did not feel comfortable staying. This review reflects my personal experience during that visit.
