Zimt & Zucker Kaffeehaus

Tried their other branch some time ago and thought we should give this one a go for comparison. Set in a lovely building near Kurfürstendamm, this cafe is very busy with good reason. Extensive drinks menu with bountiful food options make this place a nice, relaxed and healthy breakfast or lunch venue. The interior adds a nice vibe and the excellent service make this an easy recommendation. Also....the Baileys Cappuccino is a must try! Nothing to complain about here. Easy 5 stars all day long.

Wonderful breakfast spot. Coffee was excellent and with the food and service! The fresh toast was super unique and yummy. All the other dishes our party had were equally delicious.

I really love the interior of this place it’s beautifully vintage and full of charm. The coffee is consistently very, very good, which keeps me coming back. However, the service has been disappointing every time I’ve visited. We always end up waiting a long time to be seated simply because no one comes to guide us to a table. It also takes quite a while for staff to take our order or check in. It’s a shame, because the food and coffee are great but the service experience definitely needs improvement.

We stumbled upon Zimt and Zucker Kaffeehaus for breakfast, and I’m so glad we did. The Tango de Luxe and the Black Bottom with pulled salmon were both delicious and really filling, and the oat milk cappuccino hit the spot. The staff were lovely—special thanks to the lady who took our order and served us with such kindness. I also loved the thoughtful touch in the ladies’ bathroom, where they even provide feminine products. Such a great experience overall!

Great food and nice vibe. The deco was cool. I had the Granny’s stew and I liked it. The cake was also good. Location-wise it is near many galleries. A good stop-by place after some gallery tours.

If Berlin cafés had personalities, Zimt & Zucker would be that charming friend who always smells like freshly baked cake and somehow convinces you to stay “just for one coffee” — three hours later, you’re still there, happily lost between vintage vibes and cheesecake. The place is cozy in a way that feels like your grandma’s living room (if your grandma was effortlessly cool and served killer brunch). Staff is super friendly, the coffee is solid, and the cakes? Oh boy, the cakes are dangerous. You think you’re strong. You think you can resist. You’re wrong. A little gem for slow mornings, sweet afternoons, or pretending you’re working remotely while actually people-watching. Highly recommend!

They are really poor at hospitality. The only this is good about this place is, the vintage vibe beside that its a average place especially when you come from a country full of hospitality and quality service! Owner of this place really give his employees an intense training on customer service.

We visited this place after some years and the quantity of food is changed. The quality is always amazing
