A disappointing experience at Le Zinque.
The welcome was rather indifferent, although I was seated at a pleasant table in a nice-looking room. After that, the service simply stopped. No one came to take my order, and the staff spent most of their time at the bar, eating and scrolling on their phones.
When I finally managed to order, I chose the recommended vegetarian lasagna. It looked fine, but it was extremely oily, cold in the middle, and burnt on one side. Not a dish that should have left the kitchen.
A server eventually returned to ask if I wanted dessert or coffee, but I asked for the bill instead. Unfortunately, that was forgotten as well, and the staff went back to their phones and conversations.
This could be a young, lively place in a great location, but the cooking and the service need real attention. Without that, the experience simply doesn’t work.
