Just West of Zion's National park sits a resort in the making. Hidden on top of a bluff, tucked in a canyon, enveloped by painted mountains of pinks, purples, reds, oranges, are big dreams and a tiny slice of heaven.
Born and raised in Utah I've driven through Zions National park, but have never taken the time to vacation there. Adventures arise wherever you seek, even in your own backyard...
I'm enamored with the "Tiny House" revolution, so when mine and my husband's 18 year anniversary plans fell through we decided to check out Zion's Tiny Oasis.
Zion's Tiny oasis is created with love, care and attention to the most minuscule detail. We were the first to stay in the Gaurdian Angel, the first and only unit available at the time. There will be several tiny houses built, with dreams of a club house to hold events, and eventually an ATV rental giving visitors access to all possibilities of exploration through Zions.
Each Tiny House will be fully equipped with a full bathroom, kitchen, living room space, and loft for sleeping. And since so many of us are technologically addicted, there is Wifi and a TV with access to Netflix.
For those looking to disconnect, and enjoy the awes of nature, be sure to enjoy your breakfast on your own private patio, or experience dinner around your own fire pit, and for dessert gaze at the stars while sitting in your own private hot tub.
Zion's Tiny Oasis is the perfect name for this hidden getaway, and it was an honor to be the first to see such an amazing place being created. I'd wish the curators luck, but they don't need it. Amazing things are in your future... keep dreaming big, building tiny, and my husband and I can't wait to see your next Tiny creation!
