Did Titan with my little lad. 2 zip wires well organised and friendly staff. £3 to park, which is poor, plus all the merchandise is ridiculously overpriced. Will come back tho the cave tour looks decent.

We booked to do the Bounce Below and arrived at the main reception to book in. They ensured we'd completed our indemnity forms and told us were to be to receive our safety briefing. We were issued helmets and followed the guide to the site. We passed some interesting relics from the mining days. The head height for taller people in some places is low but nothing to worry about. The actual Bounce Below location is great. Very good lighting and also good music. There's a good viewing platform for non participants to watch and take photos. There's slides with mats, steps to access the 5 different levels to bounce on. There's a secret tunnel that comes out at the back of the viewing area. One of the bouncing areas is right next to the adjacent climbing area. It also looks great to do if you like that sort of thing. Overall its a great way to spend a bit of time. For some an hour might be too long and you can leave when you're ready and walk back to the entrance.

Brilliant day out for literally all ages! So well organised. Did the cavern experience and what a Bobby dazzler! Amazing! Staff were so good, explained everything well and so friendly. Such an incredible and ingenious use of an old mine.

On this visit we have participated in Caverns. Age range teens to 50+. This activity wasn't cheap when paying for 6 however as a one off I believe it was worth it. (We paid £40pp Oct '24) From start to finish we were 2.5hrs. Our younger participants breezed it. Myself as a mother pushing towards 50 found it slightly more challenging and my legs wobbled with apprehension on the practice cavern before i even began the main cavern. Physically it wasn't an issue, its just convincing the brain you are not in danger that was the issue. The views are amazing and the caverns are immense. 13 zip wires, lots of steps, bridges and some balancing but nothing strenuous. It would have been 5* if it was generally better value for money.

Had a fabulous experience on our visit. My husband and son both did the Titan zip line which they loved. Due to health problems I couldn't do it but we booked onto the quarry tour which I would highly recommend. Chris our guide was brilliant and talked about the way the quarry worked in great detail and his enthusiasm made it even better.

It was a great day out, and the experience would have been even better if the third zip line had been open. The military truck ride and learning about the place added a nice touch. The staff were friendly, and we met some lovely people along the way.

Unexpectedly amazing place! We were a bit worried it was a bit of a touristy bait but I had to correct myself. We had fun morning to evening! Titan was fun and a whole experiment with the amazing Wyn taking care of us, for the little story introduction, the safety checks and explanation and the trip to get to the zip line. In the afternoon we enjoyed the caverns, which was the biggest surprise: the long tracks full of fun and exciting steps, zip lines, bridges and more was so worth the price and time!

This was a great tour; our guide Phil had loads of information and we learned a lot about slate mining. We were able to get involved trying out tools and trying to climb and suspend ourselves on the chains.
