Zip World Penrhyn Quarry

Amazing day! Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Staff so friendly fun and professional. The whole experience was very well organised from the moment you are kitted out for the shorter zip wire taster run before a truck ride up the mountain which was a fun experience in its self! Once at the top another safety briefing and made ready for your descent and off you go! Cannot describe how amazing the experience and sensation is and can only suggest you try it for yourself you'll love it. Have to admit I have a fear of heights and was so nervous prior to arrival but can honestly say that at no point was I nervous at all. Really is a must do experience!

My mum had purchased a "velocity" ride for my stepdad and my partner got it too! The place is beyond beautiful! The quarry is in the hills and has a really positive buzz about the place!! Greeted by a lovely lady at the entrance and immediately she engaged with us! ( Sorry I didn't get her name!) The staff at the restaurant were lovely too!! And the place is so clean. Lots of goodies to buy to remember your day! The rides looked amazing and my family had a brilliant time and by the looks of it so did everyone else!

Best experience ever. Staff friendly fun and very informative. It was worth every single penny. Mini zip first to get a feel of it, then the bumpy off road ride up the mountain to the main zip. Flying at 100mph was amazing. Highly recommended. One to tick off your bucket list. Thank you to all the staff involved who made this experience one I will never forget. Thank you.

The Whole Experience is a 5-Star Adventure! What a brilliantly run attraction. The adventure starts with a smaller zip line across the quarry lake, which is a great warm-up for what's to come. Then you hop in one of the big red trucks for a fun, bumpy ride up through the quarry, which is an experience in itself. The main zip line is simply incredible. The feeling of soaring over the bright blue water is something I'll never forget. The staff deserve a special mention; every single one was professional, reassuring, and their attention to safety was second to none. It allows you to relax and just enjoy the ride. It was great to see such a mix of ages taking part. A must-do for a hit of pure, thrilling fun. It's the closest thing to being a flying superhero for a day!

Amazing experience from start to finish, everything was so well organised and timed that there was never a period of time where we were waiting for long. The staff are so fun and friendly and they make you feel safe which was key for me! I would a million percent go back to try out the other experiences, it was booked as a birthday gift and it did not disappoint at all! I would definitely recommend!

Great experience going 100mph. It doesn't feel that way but i have been told it is 100mph. On the big zip it feels like you might stop but you're probably going faster at that point . Facilities are great ! Dog friendly! Staff are knowledgeable and very happy to be there. They give you a small preview of the go pro footage but unfortunately it's a random 3 secs from your trip. The preview I received was from the end after I got off and was walking back.

What an amazing place!! Definitely one I’d recommend to anyone, apart from the Velocity experience, which is obviously incredible and the stunning setting of Penrhyn Quarry, the staff here are totally amazing! Super helpful and you get a sense of the whole team working as one! Our guide for the day was Elis, great guy very helpful and made all 22 in our group feel at ease Book this and enjoy!!

Wow what an amazing experience we did velocity zip line. A little nerve-wracking but views are stunning, luckily the weather was perfect. Staff are brilliant ensuring safety at all times , clear instructions given and work so hard 👏. We also did the aero explorer, such fun getting flung around 🤣.
