Delicious and delightful in my tummy. Plenty of parking and dining room huge with adequate room for take out. Be sure to stop by the bakery section before heading out the door. This Vegas chubby Keiki would have like a Maui Zippys t-shirt

Honestly, this place exceeded my expectations. After reading the reviews, I was expecting typical fast food diner food. I was wrong, everything here was delicious! We got the oxtail soup which was SO flavorful, although quite pricey. We also got the sai min, chili moco, and triple chicken - all delicious. The Mac salad is great as well. To finish dinner, we got the apple napple and loved it. Overall, I would come back as this feels like comfort food - although next time, I’d bring a jacket because the AC was working and it was very very cold inside.

I heard a lot about Zippys from friends. I thought it was going to be more of a fast food place, it was actually a casual sit-down restaurant, that I suppose could be considered fast food. I am experienced in Hawaiian food and cooking so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Zippys however, had a lot bigger menu than I was expecting. In fact, I had trouble choosing because they had so much to offer. I chose the roast pork with mashed potatoes, gravy. Simply divine. Fork tender no knife needed. Gravy brown and meaty flavor. Macaroni salad, sweet and delicious My wife got the Loco Moco, a grilled Hamburger steak patty, w grilled onions and gravy, served with white rice. I got to eat a few bites, it was very good. My only gripe was the service, although our waitress was very nice, it seemed as she had more than one person should handle. Other than that, my complaints were isolated. I would recommend Zippys. I'm glad we have one in our own state of Nevada

This restaurant is a popular local eatery. Mostly, typical local dishes popular in Hawaii that are pretty good on average, but nothing really outstanding. If you're hungry, it will certainly do the job. Fortunately, the familiarity to all locals is what really helps to keep the loyalty base for this restaurant chain.

We had a bowl of chili and a bowl of saimin. Chili is always great here. Saimin was on the salty side.

For straightforward down-home eats, this place never disappoints. Recently, I wanted a spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread. Where should I go? Zippy’s! I’m more than thrilled with their new takeout system. They text when the food is ready and you open your food locker texting a response. Voila! No waiting in lines when you see your order *right there* Love it.

We had a very large party and our server was on top of everything! She was quick and accurate with each order! We celebrated the life of my late mother and it was awesome!!

so not really sure if this is supposed to be like the Denny's of Hawaiian Chainz but wow what disappointment. on the plus side everything was very reasonably priced and it was easy to get a large party into the quick service side of the restaurant
