Zizzi - Manchester Corn Exchange

We visited Zizzi for the first time while celebrating my birthday and it was such a lovely experience. I was surprised with a free starter and some candy floss, which was a really thoughtful touch and made the night feel extra special. The service was absolutely amazing — my partner and I both work in hospitality, and we can honestly say this is one of the best places we’ve been to for a long while. The team were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It was also our first time in Manchester, and Zizzi made us feel right at home. The food was delicious from start to finish, and the overall atmosphere was perfect. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Visited on a Tuesday early evening with four friends so it wasn't too busy. Had fine three courses from the main menu . Service was excellent and very quick , my starter of spicy pork meatballs with mozzarella was very good and piping hot . I had the classic bolognese as a main which was great though not a very big portion. Dessert was the candy floss and Eton mess which again was very nice and great presentation. Overall an excellent dining experience in a pleasant atmosphere . Highly recommended.

Thank you Loire & Alex for making our experience in Zizzi smooth and effortless. The food was fantastic and absolutely nothing to fault, delicious and the tomatoes especially tasted so fresh. I appreciated Loire was very experienced in talking us through our order, including what was what when it all got to the table and she checked up on us without being intrusive or awkward at all. We also used vouchers very easily without any fuss, will definitely be returning, not just for the food, but for the welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely awful visit today. We had the worst food we’ve ever had in zizzi restaurant. We ordered the lunch menu and the salad starter that arrived was literally just lettuce and Caesar dressing no sight of the cheese at all that was listed on the menu. My friends bruschetta bread was so hard you could have knocked a wall down with it. We hadn’t even had our starters 2 minutes and the mains arrived at the table and just left so at this point we still had our starters and now mains on the table. No check back at all and the pasta was appalling and the pizza was cold with little to no toppings at all. When we mentioned it they immediately just went ‘oh I’ll add 50% off to your bill’ I’m going to assume with how quick the waitress said it that this is the norm for them. When she brought the bill over she had actually only charged us for drinks. You really need to sort your food and staff out. It is very apparent why you only had us and another table in at 1:30 on a lunchtime. Absolutely shocking. Won’t be returning

Went for a 17th birthday and it was amazing! Ernest was our waiter and he was lovely aswell, 10/10

The food was scrumptious, the service -despite only 2 shortage of staff - worked wonders and they cooked quite efficiently. t The Polish girl and the young chef were legends as it was my 30th birthday they catered for me amazingly and my family. Thank you

I was welcomed by staff member called Jessiah McKenzie. He was very kind, helpful and a great asset to Zizzi chain. Food was great as usual tasted fresh and hot when arrived.

On our visit, the staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. Small gestures—like double checking that everything is perfect or offering guidance through the menu—turn a meal into more than just eating out; it becomes an experience. I’d also like to give extra thanks to Owais he was amazing the food was amazing and he was also floating around serving costumers and cooking us an amazing meal
