Zócalo de Veracruz

Beautiful town square with music almost nightly. Try the ice cream while relaxing in the square they sell it all around.

Great place to dine alfresco. Service is intermittent, but food is good. Great for people watching

Fantastic place to spend an evening with family and friends. With a lot of restaurants, shopping centers, cafes outdoor activities. Loved the church in between.

We visited Zócalo de Veracruz a couple of times when we stayed in Veracruz. The architecture is really lovely and there is a nice local vibe. One night there was a band and people dancing in the square. Great spot to enjoy the historical centre.

Beautiful historical center of Veracruz, One of the oldest in Mexico Best to be visited in winter! Currently temperatures are well over the 30's with 80% humidity in the evening..not for the faint of heart

Beautiful and relaxing little plaza in the heart of historic Veracruz. The church is quite and sobering. There are 3 hotels within sight of the central fountain, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and street vendors to chose from when the appetite hits. Walking distance from the Malecón, a couple of 200 year old restaurants, and the port itself. Recommended to wind down and recover some energies!
