Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana

I recently stayed at Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana to celebrate my birthday with my best friend, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with champagne and warm smiles from the staff. Everyone we encountered was incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself is set in a tranquil location—quite a distance from the airport, so plan accordingly—but once you arrive, you’re surrounded by peace, lush greenery, and the soothing sounds of the ocean. The beach is absolutely stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it the perfect place to relax. One standout aspect was how beautifully the staff decorated our dinner table and even the door to our room for my birthday celebration. It was a thoughtful touch that made the day extra special. The food was delicious—every meal felt like a treat, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and great presentation. Also, don’t forget to try the signature smoked cocktail at the bar—I can’t remember the name, but it was a fun and unique drink experience that’s definitely worth trying! A small word of advice: make sure to bring and use mosquito repellent. I got quite a few bites on my arms and legs, especially in the evenings, so it’s something to be aware of. Overall, Zoëtry Agua is a fantastic place if you’re looking to unwind in luxury, be treated like royalty, and enjoy beautiful surroundings with amazing food. I’d definitely return—and next time, with bug spray in hand!

Our Concierge/Butler Luis Was exceptional, always going above and beyond. Elizabeth the Front Desk Manager, provided us an Upgraded room and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The Sommelier Santiago treated us well and helped provide us with great wine experiences. Pool Bar Servers Daniel, Gabriel, Willa and Nathalia were hospitable and very personable. Our House Keeper Julianne Viera met all of our daily needs and more. The Spa Masseuse Santa was amazing and would recommend daily.||Because of this wonderful experience at Zoetry Aqua including special dinners and treatments, we have plans to return for our 45th Anniversary in May 2026. We are excited to sell all of the new improvements

One of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at. Overall we were super super happy with our stay. In different areas of the resort you can tell it’s nearly 20 years old BUT it’s first class service all the way. Anything we asked for, Manuel made happen. Loungers outside our room by the pool ✅. Massage at the spa ✅. The food is amazing especially for an all inclusive resort. It’s not even fair to compare it to any other all inclusive that we’ve been. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was a 5-star experience all the way! The attention to detail and the service were a cut above the rest. Special shout out to Sory for always making our dining experience amazing! She’s the best.

We had an incredible vacation at Zoetry with our family. The resort is stunning and the service is top notch. Johan, our concierge was incredible and especially great with our teen/tween kids. Juan with water sports is a blast and helped with snorkeling and boat expeditions. We loved all of the restaurant staff, especially Natalie and Henry. The entertainment and crafts were great and so was the morning yoga! We can’t wait to come back!

We chose Zoëtry for our 12-year anniversary, expecting a peaceful and luxurious escape, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and far from what was advertised. We visit the Dominican Republic often, staying at various hotels and resorts—many of which have been outstanding. This time, we selected Zoëtry for its reputation of being an intimate, tranquil alternative to the larger party-style resorts. We also booked one of the most expensive rooms available, the Junior Ocean Front Suite, expecting a premium experience. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property didn’t meet expectations. The resort is very small and, compared to others we’ve stayed at in the country, lacks beauty and appears run-down and poorly maintained. The issues began immediately: • The shower did not produce hot water and required a 20–30 minute wait. When my wife mentioned it to staff, she was told not to expect hot water—something we’ve never heard in any hotel stay. • The shower was also clogged and required maintenance. • The following day, the air conditioning stopped functioning properly and wouldn’t cool the room below 24°C. • The bathroom had an ongoing odor of sewage backup. • There were mosquitoes in the room every night, especially after housekeeping visits. • The food was mediocre at best, and trying to reach the hospitality contact for assistance was very difficult and slow. Considering the amount of money we spent for a supposedly high-end, peaceful experience, this stay fell far below expectations. Zoëtry did not deliver the luxury, comfort, or tranquility that was promised.

Very calm and nice resort. They let you choose what scent you want for your room, You have 4 choices. Wiris as our concierge was informative and helpful, we appreciated him checking in on us throughout our stay and keeping us updated on resort events etc. We would spend our time at the beach and Valentine took great care of us!!!! He would come back at all times and make sure we are good. Our favorite dessert was probably from Amala restaurant, chocolate cake and walnut cake. The service at Paraguay was exceptional. Maria, Yohana, Yeplin, Nathali, and Fernando took great care of us with special decorations. The complimentary champagne and bottle of brugal was a nice touch. These rooms are gorgeous and my favorite part was probably the room service window it included for drop off and clean up with not having to disturb us. Room service calls and makes sure u ordered and didn't forget anything, going above and beyond. Also didn't take long for our food and service being helped to clean up or anything else came quick. Coffee machine didn't work 2nd day and they fixed it within an hour. Would come back :) -Ashni and Anthony

We had an amazing stay! It was the perfect blend of relaxation and rest combined with the excitement of a couple of excursions. When we took the shuttle back stopping to drop off others at their resorts, it made us even more appreciative of the tranquil and quiet Zoetry. Everyone was so helpful and friendly and we had so much space to ourselves. It was beyond perfection!
