Yelp
My partner and I just returned from a 3-day 2-night stay at Zoetry, and let me tell you that this place is beautiful. From the moment you walk in and look around, there is something so magical about Zoetry. The staff are so courteous, and attentive to your every need. Our beach front room was gorgeous, with a beautiful bathroom with double sinks, a separate shower, water closet, and a very nice tub. Our room came with a stocked fridge that included water, soft drinks, juices, and some alcohol, as well as separate wine fridge with couple of bottles, as this is an all inclusive resort. The one negative that I had, and this might just be a personal thing, is that the bed and pillows were just too soft. So much so that my sleep for both nights wasn't the best. We did not take advantage of many of the services only because of pricing. For example, a massage will run over $200+ US dollars, not including tip. Our first night we ordered room service for dinner. The shrimp cocktail was by far the best, with a nice spicy kick to it. The burger and fries were yummy too. The cobb and caesar salads were so so. El Arroyo, the restaurant by the main entrance is decent. The two mornings we had breakfast there the food was good. I would recommend the chilaquiles or the breakfast sandwich, as those were quite tasty and very filling. Stay away from the hot cakes, as they weren't all that great, pretty blah, and became hard as brick once they cooled, since we didn't eat them right away. I would highly recommend asking for some bread from the bread basket, which comes to you nice and warm, as I believe it is baked on site. We also had lunch one afternoon at the bar/restaurant by the pool, and that food was pretty good as well. I would recommend the "build you own ceviche," which comes with chips. The chicken fajita tacos were quite yummy too. All the wait staff were attentive, courteous, and so hard working. *Transportation notes: If you are flying in and are not renting a car, use UBER to get around town if you don't want to walk. Taking shuttle services and taxis will cost you a lot more than UBERing. UBER is not allowed to pick-up arriving guests from the Cabo airport but is allowed to drop off departing guests. So the day we landed we had to take a 'colectivo' (group van) from the airport to the resort, which costs $30 US dollars for two of us, with stops to other resorts to drop off other guests taking this van service as well. Taxis and shuttle services were asking us for $65-$80 US dollars for the two of us. We used UBER to get around town as the various shops/town centers were between a 20-25 minute drive from Zoetry. Also, Zoetry is a gated resort, which makes it very safe and private, so when requesting an UBER to leave the resort to sight see, shop, or dine out, you will be asked by the gentlemen at the main entrance to share the UBER driver's details and your room # so the UBER driver is allowed in to pick you up. The same will happen when you return in UBER, as a security measure and to verify you are a guest at the resort. This we did not mind at all, again, because it made us feel safe and reassured us that Zoetry makes their guests safety a priority.
