This was my first time sailing to Culebra Island for a holiday, Zoni Beach is the best beach on this island, the water is crystal clear and there are not many people.

Google
Very beautiful beach with great views of the smaller adjacent islands. It was a little bit too wavy for my liking compared to the other beaches that day and it also had many reefs with sea urchins on them so we had to be a bit careful. Definitely wear water shoes.

This beach is the hidden treasure on the island. It's practically empty, with a very large beach in either direction to lounge on. In my opinion, the water was clearer than Flamenco. The waves were not as strong, at least on the day I visited. If you go approximately 50 yards to the left from entrance after parking, you'll find the best area to go out with no rocks to maneuver around and you can walk out pretty far. I regret not bringing snorkel equipment as this is the ideal place to go. The only drawback was the sand was mixed with some black stone, which caused it to get VERY hot and you couldn't stand barefoot in one area long, so either get in a shady spot, on a towel, or stay in the water! We went back the next morning for sunrise as it faces to the east. Highly recommend!

Google
Beautiful beach, was visiting for first time. Swam in June water was super warm and looked like a post card. The beach is very calm and chill and it’s free. Bring your cooler with drinks and snacks and you will be all set. There are no tourist amenities around, just a beautiful local beach. Enjoy the peace and wonder of this beach.

Google
Really beautiful and isolated beach, without many tourists. Please keep in mind that the beach is not organized and there are no bathrooms or any places close to have food/drinks. There are also lots of sharp rocks, but there are clear spots to swim.

A spectacular beach with very few people. There were waves on the day we went but not a bad current or undertow. It was my favorite beach on the island. Very clear water and beautiful white sand. We went by golf cart.

Yelp
Zoni Beach is on the east coast of Culebra. It is a secluded beach, very quiet and relaxing. The water is tranquil. It's a great couple's beach because of its isolation, good for kids too. You get a great view of Cayo Norte, Culebra's only privately owned island. To get to Zoni you need a vehicle. I doubt taxis make it out this far.

Yelp
Off the beaten track but easy to get to without hiking! A long, light beige, soft sandy beach with a bit of seaweed, but nary a shell. Seemed like it was about 2 miles long. If you get there early, you might snag one of the few palm trees right on the beach for a bit of shade. No facilities but a small parking lot for vehicles. Bring everything you might need with you.

Yelp
I love this beach too much, I mean TOO much... SO much I prefer not yelping about it because I don't want you to know how UNBELIEVABLE your life can turn into a fulfilled dream of peace, tranquility and quite. Quick tip: Don't bring an iPad, phone, nor a watch. Let the Mother nature share her soul.

Yelp
RISE AND SHINE! The best spot in culebra to watch the sunrise if you're one of us and love a good sunrise and the photography that comes with it wake up early 4:45am catch the blue hour right before sunrise, and breath in the magic of this place. Not the best place to get in the water but for beautiful pictures at sunrise, this is your spot!

Yelp
One of the most if not the most beautiful beach I have visited. Far away from reality and civilization lies this unspoiled less traveled decadant getaway. Located on the east coast of the small one sity island lies the beautiful white & light sand that is like powder under your feet. Over half a mile long it is off the beaten path as most visitors go west to visit the eternally long and gorgeious Flamenco Beach, you will often find yourself alone staring off into the distance. The island's smaller sister Culebrita, a wildlife refuge island, and even St Thomas is easily visible on any day. To get there rent a golf cart or Jeep and drive just a few miles east on the windey PR-250. Don't be afraid of the giant hill as golf carts will still easily make the return trip. BE SURE TO WEAR INSECT REPELLANT FOR MOSQUITOS AND SAND FLEAS.

Yelp
Pristine and perfect beach, not crowded like flamenco or as public. There are no showers or picnic spots...but you don't really need those given that this is paradise. You will need a jeep or a golf cart to get there - we were told you couldn't get there in a golf cart, but we made it! Bring some goggles and have fun :)

Yelp
One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my whole life. If you want a quiet/relaxing experience this is the place. There are no amenities so bring everything you'll need. We spent 4 hrs. here and still wanted more. If you walk to the left the beach opens up a bit and there are fewer rocks. If you come to Culebra this beach is not to be missed. No showers or bathrooms so plan ahead.

Yelp
A beautiful pristine and secluded beach. I recommend to rent a golf car so it would be easy to park it in the small parking lot. I enjoyed it more than flamenco because there were a few people. There is also a beautiful view on neighboring small islands

Yelp
My favorite of the Culebra beaches. My first visit I felt like I had walked into a Corona commercial. Beautiful and quiet. There are no amenities so be sure to pack a cooler, your sunscreen and find a shady spot to relax. We found the swimming to be a little choose your own adventure. First day we got knocked around quite a bit and our 2nd trip was like a wave pool. There are some rocky areas so watch your feet.

Yelp
I hope you have a rental car on Culebra, because you need one. You need to come to this beach. Flamenco is great, and probably slightly better looking, but there are people. And one of the reasons you came to this island is to get away from people. There is hardly anyone here. Especially when compared to Flamenco. If you come to Culebra in the off season, there is no one here. We came to the beach twice, and it was completely empty. But yes, you do need a car to get here, it's a bit of a hike, much more than you want to do just walking or biking (and some pretty steep driving hills).

Yelp
Beautiful beach with gorgeous views! It was never crowded for the week that we stayed near here. Very peaceful and serene spot. Great view of Cayo Norte and other islands off the coast. There is a reef straight from the parking lot so you have to walk to the left a little ways to get to the purely sandy section. The surf seemed pretty mellow but still fun to play in the smaller waves. The beach can get windy, so maybe check the weather before heading out there, it's about 20 min from downtown. Overall, one of the prettiest beaches I have been to. Great place to spend the day.

Yelp
Oh the fun times we had here! There may be points that you will be completely alone on this beach. Savor them! The solitude is incredible. The nature is just so beautiful on this beach.

Yelp
To me, possibly the most beautiful beach I've visited. It's also on Culebra. Flamenco Beach is gorgeous too, but this is gorgeous and deserted. Four-wheel drive and a sense of adventure can get you here. I went here with a few friends. We arrived and besides us and maybe four other people who were already there, this several-mile stretch of pristine beach, lined with rock formations and palm trees, was empty. True peace and quiet. Pristine, beautiful, and deserted beaches are hard to find. Like the other reviewer for this beach obviously knows, it's special when you find one.

Yelp
Flamenco was my favorite beach until I went to Zoni. Absolutely stunning! My only suggestion is to bring lots of water and a snack with you because there is nothing there but beautiful beach and do not bike there unless you are Lance Armstrong. Toughest ride of my life!

Alberto R.

Yelp
Great spot for a relaxing escapade. We were lucky enough to be the only two people when we visited... Sunset was amazing.

Yelp
For those who have not been to Zoni recently be aware that a storm has washed most of the beach away and that it is not the tranquil, kid friendly place it was. Two years ago this beach was a quiet respite from the crowds at Flamenco Beach with some decent snorkeling, now it is a very narrow beach with frequent rough surf. If the sea is calm it is still nice but the beach is so narrow that the surf can consume the entire beach in high tide. You are better of hiking to Carlos Rosario / Tamarindo from the Flamenco parking lot. The snorkeling there is exceptional.
