Hot tip: lines can get long during peak season, skip the cue and order from the takeaway panel next to the fridge if you don’t need to dine in. I visited 3 times during my week in Broome— the cinnamon bun really is what dreams are made of. Quite possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten- especially when they have just come out of the oven, soft, warm and pillowy but slightly crispy in the right places. The cardamom bun was nice too but I think another legendary offering not to be overlooked are their Bombolonis (Italian doughnut), served with both jam and chocolate so you can choose which piece of bombolini will be dunked in berries or cocoa heaven. An unmissable Broome experience.

The banh mi croissant is insanely good! I got the vego one fried egg and avo with the duck pate (doesn't normally come with) and it blew my mind. The croissant is so thick and fluffy yet crisp. A must! And micrology coffee nuoc chim chili sauce. Insane. The housemate foccacia looked good too, seems a bit pricey with all the add ons but I'm sure it'd be worth it

Best cafe in town. The matcha was rich and creamy, the almond croissant fresh, crunchy and soft at the same time. The arancinis were AMAZING ! The saffron mayo made it very special.

I paid 35 for some eggs Benedict, the edges of the bread were super hard and all the ingredients were separated, take the trouble to plate them properly if you charge that much, I just wanted a quiet breakfast, not one for my gums to bleed, I do not recommend paying 35 and then having to visit the dentist. Too much waiting time for the coffee and the food, the seats doesn’t have support, the space is very small. Just charge less if they offer this

The cinnamon scrolls ever! So delicious. Great coffee too. Get there early to get a seat & good service, it gets busy at 8am. Disappointing Sunday service, it took an hour to get our breakfast which was average.

If you don’t mind standing in a queue for 20mins then getting to their pastries was worth it. Don’t bother with their cooked breakfast if you are on a budget. We paid $37 for the most expensive breakfast ever. Note: we do not mind paying for a good breakfast but this was ludicrous. 2 poached eggs, a slice of toast, 2 pieces of bacon and some mushrooms. See photo. If the owners could invest in more people taking orders (many were happy with take away) then it would be a much more enjoyable experience. On the day of our poor breakfast we waited 35 mins for our coffee. By that stage we had eaten our breakfast (which also took a tad long). In a nutshell- if you are willing to wait then the pastries are worth the wait.
