Great place to go with all ages! Lots of animals from all across the world and even a tiger! A nice route to follow across and useful information on conservation efforts made in the area. There are a lot of friendly zoo keepers around who are informative in their areas and are willing to answer any questions you want. Shop worth going to as well with hand painted t-shirts that they sell.

Loved the visit to this zoo with my girlfriend. So many amazing animals to see and they are all well taken care of. The exhibitions are also decorated in a very cute way. It’s 50k pesos for foreigners but it’s totally worth it

Last week we discovered the Caminante pass which gives us access to the zoo at 7 am before the zoo opens to the public at 9 am so we can talk our morning walk in very pleasant and safe surroundings. The cost is very reasoble COP 245,000 for six months unlimited entries which compares to COP 50,000 for an Adulto Extranero individual entry.
