Zoom Hotel (Brussels, Belgium) 10 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Now that Brussels is a metonym for the European bureaucracy, the Belgian capital is in danger of having its fashionable side overlooked. Then again, maybe that’s not such a bad thing, if it means a place like the Zoom Hotel can fly a little bit under the radar. This, in its tidy, buttoned-up sort of way, is among the most stylish hotels we’ve seen lately, a minimalist industrial-chic boutique whose rooms are decorated with cinema lights, smart monochrome tiled bathrooms, and a crowdsourced photography project that fills the hotel with an ever-changing series of artistic views of the Brussels streetscape." - Tablet Hotels

Despite the hotel not being fully booked, we were assigned room 108C—directly beneath a bar. We couldn’t get any sleep until around 3:30 AM due to a party taking place above us. The windows were poorly soundproofed, so we could hear everything. We tried calling reception, but no one answered. When we brought it up the next morning, the response was cold and dismissive. It felt as though we were being blamed for simply sharing our experience. In short, they made it clear it wasn’t their fault—and we just had to deal with it. The email reply we received later was more courteous, but the damage was done. I do not recommend this hotel. The only one I’d like to thank is the woman at breakfast—she was genuinely kind and cheerful.

Very kind people work there. Good location close to public transport. The floor of the room was a bit noisy to walk on. A bit pricy for Greek standards. The room was nice. Overall Very happy about it.

This is a nice, smaller hotel. It was quiet at night, even on the weekend. Rooms are a good size and the bathroom includes a large bathtub, which is fantastic. It is about a 25 minute walk from Grand Place and the train station, but there is public transit nearby. This is a very good hotel for value.

Good location at a walking distance from public transport and restaurant options.|The good: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful every single day.|The bad: Not all rooms have AC integrated, and the manual fans are very loud. Also, the cleaning of our room was very bad every day. We would notice that they wouldn't vacuum some open areas, change the bedding, or replenish the coffee

Rooms interior & lighting were not up to 4stat category in my understanding! Reception & dying hall design is nice. Breakfast & coffee were also good. Most of the staffs were very nice except one very very moody & unprofessional one!

Good room, big enough for 3 adults, bed was geat. Good location, near a metro station. They left some chocolate eggs during easter, nice! We will surely recomend it if you want to stay in a quiet place, near restaurants and shops. The only thing was it was raining and they didn’t have umbrellas to lend, they just sells them.

We had a nice stay in Zoom Hotel. The day receptionist gave us a warm welcome and did his utmost to welcome us in Dutch. The room was clean. At check out the same receptionist was very very friendly!

Great location, easily accessible from all the main attractions. Highlight was the really comfortable beds, great shower and just generally it came with all the necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, nothing special and varied depending on the staff working that day.

Yelp
Very modern and well decorated hotel. One of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel as their breads and pastries were very fresh, the juices freshly squeezed, and great espresso machine. Citrus and mint infused water by the front desk and beers for purchase in the kitchen. Spacious room and safe neighborhood, about 20-25 min walk from the city center. Yes, it's dark in the rooms but there are bedside lamps if you want to read. Watch out for the differently sized stairs and ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. Only draw back was that our shower leaked and bathroom amenities are quite spartan. The bedroom was also uncomfortably hot and despite adjusting the radiator in the room, we weren't able to cool it down.

Yelp
Perfectly located in Ixelles just a ten-15 minute walk to the stylish shops along Avenue Louise, the funky cafes and bars on Chausée Ixelles and the extremely hip Chatelain neighborhood, you really couldn't be better situated. The hotel's photo theme is pretty cool, there are vintage photo mags scattered everywhere, lamps in the shape of projector lights and even metal scaffolding structures in the bedrooms to mirror the feel of a shoot. While I'm all into a clever decorataive theme, what I really like about the hotel is the super comfy beds and bedding, spacious bathrooms, really lovely cafe/bar in the entrance with loads of seating, strong wifi and great selection of drinks and even some free nibbles that you can help yourself to. What the hotel could improve is the air circulation in the rooms, it gets pretty stuffy and the windows don't open wide and there is no central air system. Aside from that, it's a great, stylish, central pied-a-terre!
