Zoomers aan Zee Strandhotel en Strandhuisjes

We stayed for a few nights at Zoomers an Zee in one of the ground floor rooms with our dog. The location and setting of the hotel are excellent, with nice landscape near and far. Check-in is all automatic via WhatsApp codes but worked flawlessly. The rooms are stylish, modern, quiet, spacious, and clean, and come with a small kitchenette, a couple of plates, cutlery etc. Although you can't see the sea from the ground floor rooms, the view from the balcony looking at the dunes still provides tranquility. Dinner at the nearby restaurant is very nice as well, with courteous, helpful, and friendly staff. It is perhaps not the cheapest hotel stay (something we saw other customers criticise before we made it reservation) but we found that the hotel is well worth the money considering the setting and location. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, even if the weather was a bit rough at times.

We were a large group of 30 travelling from the UK for a wedding on the beach at Castricum aan Zee. We booked all 13 rooms, plus the apartment at Strandhotel Zoomers for 3 nights. We had never been to the hotel before and therefore needed a lot of information prior to our trip in order to best allocate the rooms; as some guests needed twins rather than doubles, some needed an extra bed for young children, some older guests needed a room without steps, etc. We were given all the help and information we needed whenever we asked and, on arrival, everything was exactly as we had requested, which was a huge relief as we had all been travelling all day and had arrived very tired at 10pm at night. All our guests were thrilled with their rooms and impressed with the design, quality and facilities. All have said they would love to return one day. Added to this, we also requested breakfast for all 30 guests for all 3 mornings of our stay, and again our guests were very impressed with firstly the quality of the breakfast provided and secondly with the efficiency and really great service of the staff working in the Zoomers Pavillion on the beach. We absolutely could not fault anything and the quality of both the accomdation and the breakfast added to what was already a wonderful wedding weekend! Great hotel! Booked it for our whole family in several rooms. All rooms were very clean and cleaned up every day. The stuff is very nice at helps you at all time! The view is amazing. We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms are beautiful, very cozy and clean. For the small kitchen it would have been nice to have a pan - but for noodles and sauce the pot was enough :D The breakfast at the beach pavillon was very delicious and the staff members were super nice! A perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean which is directly in front of you. We would be happy to come back soon.

Unique self service hotel in the dunes less than 100 meters from the sea - very nice rooms, high quality interior in scandinavian design. A pleasant place to stay for the beach life.||Very good breakfast in the restaurant 60 meters away overlooking the sea.

Good location but quality/price ratio is not there. The location is nice, we had the room with see view which is always pleasant. However, the level of service is not coherent with the price (close to 300euros/night you would expect a certain level). The room was not clean so I asked someone to come and the answer was “there is nothing I can do about it”. See photos. Yes we got the breakfast offered but still, I would have preferred a clean room instead. The restaurant is definitely not what I expected, just a beach club, I was expecting a true restaurant. The breakfast is quite good and complete.

This lovely modern industrial beach hotel is positioned right in the dunes, the room we had had dune views with the parking lot off to one side. The room was decorated very well with a cozy home vibe. The walls decorated with lovely art and a great tv. When we arrived there was a tapas snack wich was ample and a bottle of red wine. We had rented the bikes and had take away lunch packs for on our ride! Wat a great summer adventure!

The interior of the apartment was lovely and a nice location, however it was noisy from the wind coming in through the windows/ rattling the blinds and also we could hear the laundry washing machines in the room next door late at night and early in the morning so that wasn't so cozy. The management was also not welcoming. Parking is also not included
