Zorlu Center

I haven't visited many shopping centers in Istanbul (to put it mildly), but Zorlu is the largest and most interesting one I have seen. It has an excellent layout: at ground level, there is an open green space in the centre, flanked by air‑conditioned galleries (that is where the most upscale brands in the mall are located). Inside the building, you can find products for every audience, every visitor, everyone who got there - there is Adidas, Nike, H&M, and plenty more. There is a cinema too, though I didn't go in. In the centre stands a magnificent two‑level Apple Store, very bright and stylish. There is a fairly large food court plus several restaurants. Among the global brands at the food court, you'll find McDonald's, Burger King, and Popeye's. If you are looking for a lighter bite, take a look at the Green Salads chain - their salads are generous and packed with vegetables. We got here by taxi; the trip from Fatih (almost from Hagia Sophia) took about 30 minutes, but it was a weekend. On weekdays, given Istanbul's traffic, it will clearly take longer. Taxis line up outside the mall exit: there is a separate row for "regular" taxis and another one for minivans. It is a beautiful, convenient, and green shopping centre; in my view, the most pleasant and interesting one in Istanbul.

Zorlu Center in November and December is absolutely magical. The whole place transforms into a cozy winter escape with beautiful Christmas decorations, sparkling lights, and festive New Year vibes that instantly lift your mood. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the cold season, walk around with a warm drink, and socialize with friends. Whether you’re shopping, relaxing in the cafes, or just soaking in the holiday atmosphere, Zorlu feels lively, welcoming, and full of winter charm. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy Istanbul’s festive season at its best.

Disappointing experience Zorlu Center is undeniably beautiful — spacious, filled with high-end boutiques, and a wide variety of restaurants. The staff I interacted with were kind, polite, and helpful, which made a good impression. These are definitely the positive aspects. However, the navigation system in the mall is extremely confusing. The maps are poorly designed — it’s almost impossible to understand where you are at any given moment or how one floor connects to another. The printed guide only shows isolated floor plans without any clear relation between the levels, and the electronic directories don’t provide orientation either. Moving from one area to another is a real challenge. The most unpleasant part, though, is the pervasive smoking. It’s beyond comprehension how smoking can be allowed in a place that brands itself as luxurious and world-class. People smoke everywhere — inside and outside, on the terraces between luxury boutiques like Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, in restaurants, near the taxi area, even close to the parking and bookstores. The air is constantly filled with heavy cigarette smoke, making it impossible to enjoy food or shopping. This completely ruins the atmosphere and reflects a lack of culture and social etiquette. You can call a place as luxurious as you want, but if it reeks of smoke from three kilometers away, it simply cannot be considered a luxury destination. Truly disappointing and unworthy of the image it tries to project.

Did not expect a place like this in Istanbul. Amazing is all I can say LV, Gucci, Apple, food court just some of the venues at this location. I went there to visit an eye surgeon on the 43rd floor, so imagine my delight to feel as if I was back home in the states. Wow is all I can say, there is security to get in, but once there your eyes will feast on store back home. Fun to see this in Istanbul, who knew, not me

I traveled to Istanbul in early December. One of the stylish and beautiful places that really caught my attention was decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. It was very beautiful, and it was easy to get to — the Metrobus actually passes through the middle of the shopping mall.

Zorlu Center is a perfect place for both shopping and entertainment. I always enjoy my visits thanks to its modern design, wide range of stores, and high-quality restaurants. Additionally, it offers a lively atmosphere with events and concerts. Highly recommended!

It's a very large shopping center 🙂 You can go shopping, have lunch, or just sit and drink tea or coffee. You could spend a whole day there 👍

Great luxury shopping mall! Probably the best in Istanbul. Lots of upscale shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The mall itself looks beautiful and is very clean. Highly recommend.

No problem with Zorlu. I love their performing arts center, it's great that they have a Mac store and an H&M, the layout is not that confusing, and it's really not that crowded. Overall it has a very luxurious feel and makes you feel like a rich person. If you are a rich person you will find this is your crowd. If you are trying to look like a rich person this is a perfectly okay place to do that. Could use a Pinkberry, but that is noting to complain about seriously. The meydan area and neighboring park are wonderful urban spaces that are really only rivaled by AVMs like Kanyon and Akasya in Istanbul.

Zorlu is one of the biggest and most popular shopping malls in Istanbul. There are lots of luxury brand names, fine dining restaurants and cafeterias, movie theaters, shops, childrens indoor and outdoor playground, a huge Performance Arts center with plays from Broadway and world stars, Ruffles hotel, Eataly, and many other things. You can get there with a taxi or driving your car, parking at their huge garage or leave your car to Valet. Or you can take a subway and walk from the underground tube directly into the shopping center. With or without kids, you can spend hours in this place.

Who knew I would ever review a mall. Posh, over priced but sadly I keep going back. Maybe it is for Eatly, maybe it is becuase it super close to my house, who knows. Window shopping is all i can really afford here. Considering a place tries to make Crate and Barrell look fancy and over priced is a damn shame. Eatly you have my blessing. Otherwise clean and a large food court. Also did I mention that it has one of two apple stores in this fine country? Enough said. Maybe not the biggest fan, but ehhh A OK im a fan.

A very nice modern and sleek mall. The only Apple Store in the area. Cool food court. Out of the way!
