Zostel

Very nice place! There is a lovely rooftop with small lights and it is really nice to spend a night or two when you get to Chennai. The staff is really helpful and cool! The rooms and bathrooms are clean and there is shared area that brings people together! :) Some taxi driver have troubles to find the place so I would recommend you to go on the application "maps.me" where you can download the maps before and then use it as a gps off line to help the taxi driver find the place.

A great experience! Very comfortable stay and you get to meet tons of interesting people. Everything is chill and casual and it's the perfect place to spend some time either socializing or just enjoying a quiet stay if you prefer that. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, no complaints. I'm definitely looking forward to my next stay here!

At Zostel Chennai, I met very friendly, warm, efficient Safar Sulaiman and Dwarak. Both are extremely courteous and hospitable. The place itself has such wonderful aura and warmth. Centre space is very pleasant and offers quite enjoyable experience to meet other travelers. The place also offers other restful corners to sit and relax quietly. A decent breakfast is also available on request. Tea-coffee and other self-help kind of community kitchen space is a good option too. Washing, iron other facilities are also available on a very decent payment. Overall experience went very smoothly. Enjoyed my stay and even for my next visit, Zostel Chennai will remain my first preference to stay over.

Really good experience. I'll not regret staying at Zostel instead of the hotel I had planned to stay, before I decided to give this a go. The hostel is located near the US consulate, and the hosts are super-nice. The rooms were clean, and had working air conditioning. We played a board game at night. Highly recommend staying here.

It is super awesome place to live if you are a traveler or working individual. You will get to meet new people from multiple corners of world. The guys managing it are upto the mark and take care of you as a family. The interior is also pleasant. It is near from Marina Beach as well. And if you are in Chennai for Visa interview, there is no better place than Zostel for you to stay.

I was on my solo trip and this place made it completely familiar and comfortable, Chef Amma makes really great and tasty food. Property managers are very kind and helpful. Ambience is interesting decorated with artwork and crazy qoutes. Mixed bed dorms available here. This place gives you some great friends from all over the world.

A very very good option for stay, if you're looking for a hostel experience, with shared dorms and pretty big common area. The crowd that you get there is one of the best part of a zostel experience. The staff was also particularly polite and helping, and available at reception most of the time and available on call 24*7. I would have given a 5-star for sure, but giving 4 comparing it with other zostels which are located in very calm and cool places with the most amazing and peaceful views and surroundings.

Recently attended a show here. The Ambience is absolutely brilliant. Loved the people I met here. The travel stories you get out of the people here are absolutely mind blowing. It's honestly an inspiration to anyone who wants to start travelling but has no clue about it. Absolutely loved the place.
