Zostel is a great hostel located in the heart of Kathmandu. It's a great place to stay if you're looking for a budget-friendly option that's still clean and comfortable. The hostel has a variety of room types to choose from, including dorms and private rooms. The dorms are spacious and well-lit, and the private rooms are clean and cozy. The hostel also has a common area with a kitchen, a TV, and a games room. There's also a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the city. The staff at Zostel are friendly and helpful. They're always happy to answer any questions you have and help you plan your trip. The hostel also offers a variety of free activities, such as yoga room on the roof. Overall, Zostel is a great place to stay if you're looking for a budget-friendly and friendly hostel in Kathmandu. Here are some pros and cons of Zostel Kathmandu: Pros: -Clean and comfortable rooms -Friendly and helpful staff -Free activities -Great location Cons: -Can be noisy at times (neighbours) -Some rooms are small -No elevator Overall, I would definitely recommend Zostel Kathmandu to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and friendly hostel in Kathmandu.

Price: I paid 750 Nepali Rupees to stay per night. It is 50 NPR to rent a towel. Best aspect of the hostel: The clean comfy beds and the cafe. The cafe has large tables which often requires guests to share, a great way to meet people. What could have been better?: I'd be really getting picky here but I would have loved some coffee/tea included in the price. Staff: Very friendly/helpful Dorm: very neat and clean, fresh sheets and a very comfortable mattress. Only four bunks to a room so I felt I had my space. Noise: The hostel is off a side street so it is away from the busy roads. The cafe gets a bit rowdy but the noise always fell at around 11pm. Temperature: AC included in the room, I think there is one star here alone. Heating is luxury here in Kathmandu. It is my second stay in a Zostel and I've really enjoyed both hostels equally.

I appreciated that the bathroom was in the room and the bed was super comfortable. I didnt like that the room was situated in the back, it must be closed to a generator or similar because during the night the noise was continuous and disturbing. The place is great, i would recommend it to others, just another room different from 304

The best hostel in town. The dorm is where Zostel steals it. With foreigners constantly changing. The place never gets too dull. The bunk beds all have their own reading light which won't disturb others. There is hot water 24*7. The food in the food court of Zostel is too good. Not satisfied with the local cuisine though. Nevertheless, you will enjoy your stay in Zostel for sure. The staffs are super friendly too.

A very nice hostel! Perfect way to meet people and either departing for a trek or returning from one. Food was excellent, breakfast as well. Staff was kind. The rooftop was under construction but it will be super nice soon. You have everything there: good WiFi, laundry service, food, water, hot showers...

Lovely hostel the slightly higher price is redeemed by the nice hygiene. The staff is lovely and the restaurant serves well prepared and good tasting food. There is also a nice roof terrace with a wide view over Kathmandu. I'll be staying here again next time. (Review over 2 visits and 6 nights)

Place is clean and cheap (although there is way cheaper in Kathmandu). Restaurant is good and there is a nice view from the rooftop. The first floor rooms are REALLY loud though. And there are a few dogs on property that are sweet but are also loud at night. Don't listen to the staff and leave your shoes on the racks outside the rooms because the dogs will destroy them! I had a pair of sneakers completely ruined and the staff were really unhelpful about it, which is the main reason I'm giving them a lower score than I might have otherwise.

Lovely staff, common areas, food and clean accomodation. Clean big rooms, only minus is that it is very expensive to be a hostel, at least for the double room we had. It has a roof top which is nice and two common areas. Great food at the bar and very helpful staff. Calm feeling, could recommend.
