Zostel Mumbai

Had an amazing stay at Zostel Mumbai! The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a great atmosphere that made it easy to meet and connect with fellow travelers. The vibe was lively yet relaxed, perfect for both work and leisure. Only suggestion would be to make the check-in process a bit smoother but overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again!

Staying at this hostel was hands down the best travel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, everything exceeded expectations — the vibe, the staff, the community, and especially the activities. They weren’t just fun; they were next-level amazing. If you’re looking for more than just a bed — if you want experiences, friendships, and memories that last — this is the place. I’ll absolutely be coming back. 10/10 would recommend!

Pros: 1. The rooms were comfortable with bunk beds in 6 sharing. 2. The food court ambience was perfect with great choices. 3. Nice group activities to make new friends. 4. Wash rooms were well maintained. 5. Definitely recommendable for short stay for works related. Cons : 1. A major concern to attend was using typical naphthalene smelling phenol in common areas which was not recommended, this could be avoided. 2. Cheap handwash liquid (rose color) to avoid as it causes a strong smell not liked by all. 3. Laundry can be moved to a different section (next to friend zone) to avoid sound while sleeping. 3. Reception could have more seating arrangements. 4. AC water leaks to check. 5. Adding a ceiling fan could be nice as it disburse air to below bunk beds more even, and also it would avoid snoring sound slightly of single person while others are getting sleep.

Had a great time at Zostel Mumbai! The vibe is perfect for solo travelers and backpackers — super chill, friendly, and social. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout. Rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend for a budget-friendly, fun stay in Mumbai!

So I travelled to Mumbai for a day and booked a Zostel. Although I have spent only night here but the experience was quite good. The best thing about the place is , it's very Clean and had a very friendly Environment. Would love to come back again. Although I didn't like the location where it was but inside the Zostel it's feels Good. Yeah one must experience the Zostel Living 🙌💯

Generalizing all Zostel homes to be good and clean is wrong. Having found Zostel coorg to be a good experience, thought Mumbai was good too but Zostel Mumbai was a terrible experience. I booked a deluxe room and the below is the summary of that experience. 1. Rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis and we had to remind the staff everyday to do so, it proactively never happened. Staff was not committed to maintaining hygiene, it appeared as if there are doing a favour by cleaning our rooms instead of doing it out of commitment. Their staff need to be trained well. Any accommodation has its own guidelines to cleaning , their staff used to do only to an extent and always ask "Is this sufficient?" . No trained staff does that. The wash basin sink was leaking and despite repeated reminders no action was taken. 2. No bucket and mug provided and told us to adjust with the shower. No home stay does that. 3. They need to learn that work ethic from corporate suites or honestly homestays . Where the house-keeping staff are more proactive than passive similar to what was seen in zostel mumbai in terms of service or cleaning where we had to dial them to come and clean the room. 4. Unstable wifi connection and intercom which hardly works when you need it the most. 5. Despite being allotted a corner room, the amount of sound, noise of some construction was always there it was so disturbing that it ruined our night's sleep. Can't they align that timings with regular working hours. It was absolutely disturbing and such a nuisance. 6. Food was very expensive and not all that great. Mosquitoes and cockroaches in the room. 7. Short of staff. 1 floor had only 1 cleaner and he used to prioritize vacated rooms first and then occupied rooms which is ridiculous when you have people availing your services via the app. The only positive thing was it was at the centre and not at city outskirts. They need to work a lot on their Mumbai branch. Working people travel at large to the financial capital for both recreation and work and you can't provide a service like that.

Had one of the best experiences at Zostel! I have visited the property umpteen times and never have I been disappointed with it. The vibes, the service and the environment is astounding. The community mangers ensure that you have a great time and enjoy meaningfully! A definite recommendation!

I booked a 4 sharing, quadruple dormitory bed. And my experience was good, they maintain all sort of cleanliness and the rooms and the toilets are cleaned 1-2 times a day. Staff is also well mannered and co-operative. Overall a nice experience. These guys also have a co-working space, and chargeable laundry services and luggage room
