In this age of constant improvement and modernisation, it is truly disappointing to have an experience like this, especially when paying a considerable amount for a deluxe room. My stay was nothing short of a nightmare! The room was extremely small, but what concerned me even more was the hygiene. There was a strong smell of urine everywhere, and the overall cleanliness was horrifying. The washrooms were very dirty, and because it’s a hostel, the toilets and showers are shared. There were wet strands of hair all over the floor, and I felt uncomfortable the entire time. Even though my stay was short, just a few hours overnight..it was more than enough to realise how poorly maintained the place is. Considering how hostels worldwide have evolved to become cleaner and better organised, it is shocking that a brand with such a name has allowed standards to fall this low. I strongly recommend the management to rethink their approach to hygiene and guest comfort. My honest suggestion: do not try this place.

I stayed at Zostel Andheri, for just one night to catch a flight, and it was honestly one of the worst stays I’ve had. We had booked a private rooms While the mattress itself was decent but the room felt extremely small & everything else fell far below expectation. The entire corridor often smelled strongly of the toilet. The common toilet completely ruined the experience. It was very dirty, with visible hair on the floor. my sister went in just to change and was completely disgusted. Overall, the hygiene was unacceptable. I will definitely not be going back and would not recommend it to anyone who values basic cleanliness and comfort.

Visited Zostel Mumbai with friends and had a genuinely good stay. The vibe and aesthetics are really nice, they also had a great workspace and the staff were friendly. There was even a cute cat around when we visited, which added to the charm. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, regularly maintained, and everything worked fine. The in-house café is good too, just a bit on the costlier side. The only downside was people smoking even in non-smoking areas — pretty common in hostels, but still annoying. Otherwise, a comfortable and enjoyable stay overall.

Yes it’s a hostel and it has a great community. Met nice people here. But, the room was very damp (and likely mouldy). If the AC is switched off, water drips from the ceiling. 0 ventilation. U had the 2 bed room.

I visited this hotel for 3 nights. Delux Rooms are excellent. Facilities are very good. Restaurant is small and have a few choices. I ate outside mostly. Service is very good. Parking is a small issue as some road construction going on by BMC. Other than that, everything is really good. Highly recommended. All things are available at walking distance in the vicinity.

All amenities claimed were present upto mark. Work station is 10/10 place but some people were using loud noises for chit chat and that was disturbing. Food at restaurant was okay okay type and lil costly than normal. Overall vibe was good but the main concerning thing is their hostel rooms. They were none more than barracks. Literally no ventilation in room 105. You can easily feel claustrophobic after sometime. They should just convert the 6 bed dorms to 4 bed ones and 8 bed ones into 6. No complaints about room service, the quality of bed n linen plus Guys at reception were super helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Zostel Mumbai. The overall ambience of the property is excellent and highly commendable. I would particularly like to acknowledge Florence at the reception desk for her kindness and exceptional assistance.

I used to be a regular Zostelier. But this time was highly disappointed by poor service provided. I booked a twin sharing room. But it had no wifi. 4 complaints in 1 hour still no one helped. The TV wasn't working. Reported the issue. Attendants did not come back for any help. I don't know why did I pay extra for this room. Yes am never coming back surely
