Zostel Mumbai

It is in a location where is difficult to find transport, unless you book online, the cafe is super expensive as per Mumbai, and location because you get better food in lesser price in Mumbai, which tastes good as well, where as this place was not good, the guy at the cafe is so damn rude. He should calm his so called attitude and put in his pocket. The reception staff was awesome, the room was good, rest the entire staff and stay was good, however you need renovation and more games at the friend-zone. I don’t like your cafes food and that guy who takes the order. I hope to never see him again in my life.

The room are justified for the prices.. Its well mentained and the ambience is quite refreshing. They have a canteen, the food is okay. I stayed in private rooms but the dormitory seemed alright too. Nice if you are traveling and like meeting new people. Everyone is friendly. Overall I would recommend it. For budget stay Though the connectivity to transportation is a bit difficult..

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was calm and we felt very safe. The staff was helpful and could give us useful advice. The location is not very close to the city centre but relatively close to the airport which is useful if you just arrived by flight. Great experience!

I had a 17-hour layover in Mumbai, so I decided to check into Zostel. Having stayed here before, Zostel feels like a friend you’d want to visit when you’re traveling to their city. It’s also a great budget-friendly option and located just 12 minutes from the airport. The vibe is youthful, with most guests in their 20s. I stayed in the girls’ dorm and had a very comfortable experience. The toilets were clean, and each bed came equipped with a reading light, a socket, and a small pouch for chargers or other essentials. The overall atmosphere is friendly, and the guests add to the homely feeling of the place. The only slight inconvenience was discovering that the cafeteria after 3pm on Sundays. It would have been helpful if this had been mentioned during check-in. May be a canteen requires a little bit of a makeover but over all a great stay. Zostel will remain my go to place whenever I’m in Mumbai.

Our experience at Zostel was disappointing. The check-in process was inefficient—we had to manually enter our details in a register and then repeat the same information verbally for their system, making it unnecessarily time-consuming. Additionally, the registration process was slow, causing a delay in receiving our room keys. The room itself was not well-maintained. There were dark spots on the cushions and the kettle was unclean containing dust and black particles. The online images were misleading while they showed a scenic view, the actual view from our window was obstructed by garbage. The food was a major letdown completely tasteless, unhygienically prepared and a waste of money. Furthermore, there was no parking available and the surrounding area was uncomfortable. The overall environment felt more like a chawl than the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere we expected from Zostel.

Rooms were extremely narrow and only wide enough for one person. Bathrooms were in bad condition, conditions felt very crowded and cramped, there was no rooftop area to sit in, and in general it was much more run down than in photos. Avoid this if you can; the neighborhood wasn't too great either.

Had a very good stay. Met lots of friendly people and had a good time. Some of the rooms might be a bit run down, but the place is exceptional for the price.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Zostel and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made check-in a breeze. One of the highlights of my stay was the Friendzone, which added an extra level of relaxation to my trip. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning on my next visit. If you are an extrovert and loves networking this is the place for you!! Highly recommend!
