Zostel Mumbai

Stayed here for a day during an office trip and had a really good experience. The location and overall environment were great. Even though it was a 6-bed dorm, the beds were surprisingly big and comfortable, with cozy blankets. The only drawback was that the attached toilet/bathroom felt a bit small. On the brighter side, the TT table and loud music in the game room added a fun vibe to the stay.

Staying at this hostel was hands down the best travel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, everything exceeded expectations — the vibe, the staff, the community, and especially the activities. They weren’t just fun; they were next-level amazing. If you’re looking for more than just a bed — if you want experiences, friendships, and memories that last — this is the place. I’ll absolutely be coming back. 10/10 would recommend!

Stayed at Zostel – overall a good vibe with friendly staff. Met some really nice people in the dorm, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the common room – it was packed with people smoking up. If you’re a non-smoker, you might actually hate being in that room. Rest all good, worth staying! ++

Pros: 1. The rooms were comfortable with bunk beds in 6 sharing. 2. The food court ambience was perfect with great choices. 3. Nice group activities to make new friends. 4. Wash rooms were well maintained. 5. Definitely recommendable for short stay for works related. Cons : 1. A major concern to attend was using typical naphthalene smelling phenol in common areas which was not recommended, this could be avoided. 2. Cheap handwash liquid (rose color) to avoid as it causes a strong smell not liked by all. 3. Laundry can be moved to a different section (next to friend zone) to avoid sound while sleeping. 3. Reception could have more seating arrangements. 4. AC water leaks to check. 5. Adding a ceiling fan could be nice as it disburse air to below bunk beds more even, and also it would avoid snoring sound slightly of single person while others are getting sleep.

I was here for a solo trip and it was really nice staying here. The rooms and the washrooms were absolutely clean and the food's from cafe is really good. Also i met many new people. And overall it was crazy. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the staff were super friendly and helped when I was any sort of trouble. The food was amazing too. Would highly recommend

The rooms were nice & clean but my only concern were the washrooms. We stayed in the female dorm & not only was the washroom small it was also not clean neither was it well maintained. The water would get cut off randomly & we had to call on them to get it fixed. There are plenty of other hostels better than this in mumbai in my opinion.

Had a great time at Zostel Mumbai! The vibe is perfect for solo travelers and backpackers — super chill, friendly, and social. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout. Rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. Would definitely recommend for a budget-friendly, fun stay in Mumbai!
