Wonderful German atmosphere. If you are looking for a traditional experience, beer, or traditional food; this is the place to visit. There is an outside sitting pet friendly area and seats inside if you prefer. I would recommend the pork knuckle with potatoes and a locally brewed beer. Enjoy!

My wife and I were in Frankfurt to see my step son. He took us to the 12 Apostles which was not far from our hotel. He'd been in there for drinks with friends before, but never eaten there. 100% highly recommended. It was amazing. Fair prices for great food. I had the Argentine steak and my wife had the Pork Knuckle. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Great service and wonderful atmosphere. A table of 11 gentlemen came in and sat behind us, and it was one of their birthdays .. they sang 'happy birthday' to him and it sounded so amazing. It was also my wife's birthday ... she plucked up the courage to tell them and they sang her her too. What a wonderful evening. The venue was interesting too as an old monks brewery. If you are in Frankfurt, you MUST go here.

Wow, super cozy and authentic brewery/Restaurant 🍻🍖. Food was very good and the portions are big. The staff was super friendly. We had a great lunch here amd we definitely come back when we're in Frankfurt. Highly recommended 👍.

Google
Typical brewery/restaurant offering classic German meals in a traditional setting. Can get busy -I chanced my luck as a sole diner and got a seat inside but if you’re a larger group definitely book. Good portion sizes with the added benefit of the beer being brewed in the establishment. Fair prices for the amount of food.

Google
German cuisine - highly recommended The restaurant is infant friendly and welcome dogs also. The staff are very friendly. The menu has also vegetarian options. I loved the food, we ordered the “Jägerschnitzel“ and “Frankfurter grüne Soße”, for dessert a “Kaiserschmarren“. Price level is on the higher end although average among traditional German cuisine restaurants.

Google
I enjoyed the huge serving of pork knuckle! I visited during summer, and it’s the season where most diners prefer to be seated outside in the sun rather than indoors. At just 12.90€, you get a fairly huge pork knuckle over a bed of sauerkraut ,with roasted potatoes by the side. Male employee who seated me was friendly and spoke English. I enjoyed my meal! However, when i asked for the bill, a lady came over with her cash pouch and a bill for my table. Despite countless thankyous from me to her, she did not utter a single word of appreciation in return. Such a shame that a great dining experience had to be dampened by such a poorly trained staff. Aside from this rude woman, everything else about the visit was great!

Google
Visiting from US, stopped here as first stop for beer and food in Germany. They have home brewed beer and variety of food options. I am not big fan of sausages and always thought it’s going to be similar type of food here. I was surprised to other varieties and glad tried them. Both beer and food tastes great 👌 will stop by again.

Go go Google maps. Typed in Beer Brewery and this great places popped up, since we were relatively close we decided to try it out...and we loved it. Their dark and light beers tasted great, but surprisingly, their food is what got us loving the place. The schnitzel was nice with a light crisp, but that green sauce was just amazing. The trout and salmon dish was also a lot better than typical brewery food. Overall, a highly recommended place.

Yelp
We asked around for a restaurant that serves authentic local Frankfurt dishes and Apfelwine and were luckily recommended this spot! Having spent a week in Munich, we were a bit tired of typical Bavarian dishes so I was excited to try some of Frankfurt's famed eggs with green sauce. The dish was smaller than expected and the eggs were your typical boiled eggs but the green sauce was really refreshing and made the dish, the fresh herbs really stood out! The pickled herring and potatoes were a great cold appetizer. The meat in the lamb and beef stew were super tender and sauce was flavorful. Definitely recommend ordering a glass of Apfelwine, Frankfurt's traditional drink . It was my first time trying it and it tasted similar to a cider but a bit more tart which I actually preferred. The ambiance inside was of a wooden tavern upstairs and the downstairs had a historic cellar pub vibe and nice tables. Unfortunately, it was raining that day but the outdoor seating looked nice as well. The servers spoke English well and offered English menus. Definitely recommend if you are looking for authentic food and drinks in Frankfurt!

Judy S.

Yelp
*Reservations suggested **Cash Only if your looking for authentic Frankfurt fare look no further! This quaint restaurant has a wooden tavern feel upstairs, lovely outdoor seating in the warm months and a cellar basement. We made reservations but out party size grew and they were able to accommodate us. The clientele is mostly local and the tables are full! We dined in the sausages plate, schnitzel with cream mushroom sauce and the schnitzel with green sauce. The plates had roasted potatoes as a side and the sausages had sauerkraut. Every thing was so tasty and I found the portions to be large. The drinks were good-beer and red wine-and we ordered a bottle of still water for the table as well. Our bill was 109 euros for two round of drinks and the dinners for 3 people.

Yelp
Came here because it was recommended for German food. I liked the atmosphere and I enjoyed my beer. However, I didn't get to order food because they don't accept cards on the weekend and I didn't have enough cash to order food. I'd come back to try the food since it looked good.

Jessica E.

Yelp
food was delicious! Delivered quickly, it was warm and plentiful. We made a reservation that morning since it was a Friday. So glad we did they were very busy.

Isabella L.

Yelp
For our first official day in Frankfurt/Germany, I searched for a restaurant that had German food, and this place popped up. The place is a brewery/restaurant that offers classic German meals. There's both outside and inside seating. You can make a reservation online, but my BF and I came on a Sunday early evening, and we had no problems walking in and getting seated. I had the fried pork knuckle since that was a dish I was looking forward to eating while in Germany, and it did not disappoint. The skin was very cripsy and the meat fell off the bone very easily. The pork knuckle came with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut, and I won't lie, the sauerkraut was a little mild for me, but the bite of food of the pork, potato, and sauerkraut was perfect. The pork on its own is a little dry, but the saurkraut gives it a little more flavor and makes the bite more moist. My BF and I also ordered kristall beer, which went well with our food. Overall, it's a good restaurant to stop at if you're in Frankfurt.

Will W.

Yelp
A few of my coworkers and myself went to this great restaurant and sat at the bar in the basement. The staff was very attentive, and the food was outstanding. We ordered the housemaid Dunkle beer, which was clean, crisp and refreshing to start. We ordered the mixed sausage plate with sauerkraut, each sausage had a great rich flavor and we enjoyed it immensely. Next we ordered the pig knuckle which was perfectly crisp on the outside and fork tender on the inside. This is a great casual restaurant/bar with great prices and food.

Bill S.

Yelp
I was staying in downtown Frankfurt and wanting to eat at an authentic German restaurant that the locals go to and try to avoid any of the typical tourist spots and was super happy to find this place as it delivered on all points. The ambiance and setting was pretty much what you would imagine an older German pub would look like with a upstairs and downstairs rooms, bar, and a variety of tables and generally packed with Germans enjoying a night out. My first impression was the excellent and friendly service that immediately greeted us and made us feel welcome and even spoke fantastic English ( a plus for me). I decided to try the pork schnitzel with a side of spätzle and they served it with a delicious egg and think bacon that added a nice level of complexity to a delicious dish. I definitely recommend this place if you are in town looking for authentic German food.

Danielle F.

Yelp
We had a table outside, which was really nice and relaxing. It was early October so the weather was lovely. The schnitzel was delicious. Service was good definitely give this place a try for traditional German tavern fare.

Claudia C.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant right in downtown Frankfurt. The service was really good and fast. For food I got the tomato soup which was delicious and seasoned perfectly. We also both got the fried pork knuckle, the breading was super hard so we did choose to eat around it, but the meat is super tender. The potatoes it came with were to die for, I absolutely loved them and I also really enjoyed the sauerkraut. I thought it was really good and went perfectly with the pork.

Eve L.

Yelp
I wanted to try Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) again before I left Frankfurt. Found this highly rated restaurant but the food was really disappointing. The meat was tough and flavorless and skin not crispy but chewy and greasy. Worse still, the service was rather non-existent. Seated outside and no waiter/waitress came out to check on us at all and it was an excruciatingly long wait for the check. Finally when someone came to take the payment (their credit card reader had a problem and I had to pay cash) the lady abruptly suggested that I add a tip to the amount. I'm from the US where tipping is customary and goes without saying, but last I checked it's not that common or taken for granted in Germany, especially with the amount of service I received - no one asked me if everything was ok or why I barely touched my food. Given the awful experience, I'd tip less, but then the lady took the liberty to subtract a few euros from my change - which was funny because I'd still have tipped more than that.

Yelp
We visited Germany from the United States in the middle of November. While there, this was our favorite place we ate at. We got the pork knuckle, Jaeger schnitzel, roast beef with green sauce, the house brewed beer, and a Possman Apfelwine. Everything was delicious. Especially the potatoes, schnitzel, and green sauce. We had those again a couple days later at another restaurant and they were subpar haha. I do not like beer generally but this one had a nice chocolate aftertaste. My only criticism would be that I wish the roast beef had been hot. It came cold for some reason. Service is different in Germany than in the United States so I try to take that into account. They were not very fast but they friendly enough. Remember they do not expect to be tipped in Europe and this place is cash only.

Keith S.

Yelp
Great environment and great service. Food was very good and served hot and the portion sizes are good. Sourkraut was OMG delicious

Steve S.

Yelp
What a find!!! What a great random Yelp find!! Excellent spot! Ambience is top notch! Service is outstanding!! Food = fantastic!!! Wonderful, wonderful spot! Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, roasted potatoes and cabbage was phenomenal!! Just go! Make a reservations and go!

Mike C.

Yelp
Second time reviewing this establishment and one can't visit Frankfurt without dining here. It has never failed service and quality wise. It would be smart to make reservations due to it gets busy even during a weekday. The food portions are extremely plentiful so arrive hungry. Even on a warmer than usual day we sat outside but due to the trees by all the tables you're not baking in the sun or overly uncomfortable with the temperature.

Mike L.

Yelp
Who carries cash these days? Apparently this antiquated establishment still thinks we all do because it's either cash or a minimum of 60 euros per charge (if their charge machine is working that day). Ridiculous. I walked out.

Adam R.

Yelp
True Bavarian style food. Well done. The local beers are tasty. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We liked it so much. We came here twice it when we were traveling through Frankfurt.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Incredible food, incredible service and a good spot. They have a great outdoor and indoor area. Their homemade beer is really light, and delicious. I highly recommend their schnitzels, they are all so tender and cooked perfectly.

Anna S.

Yelp
I try to visit Zu den 12 Aposteln whenever I'm in Frankfurt. If you can be seated downstairs, I recommend it. The ambiance is cozy. The staff are always welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend the jagerschnitzel. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time as they do get busy.

Ryan R.

Yelp
My friends and I MUST eat here every time we visit Frankfurt. Although the place is small by American standards and tucked away in what seems to be a back alley of the city, its greatness should not be discounted. For one, the beer here is great. Their special house-made hefeweizen is a little darker than other hefeweizen beers but oh so delicious. In fact, they have a brewery in the basement, which one can see if seated in the basement area. On that note, I highly recommend dining in the basement. It has a completely different feel and decor than the main level. Also, it seems a little more intimate, if you're on a date. However, since both the main level and basement are small, make sure to place a reservation before going. It doesn't matter which schnitzel you get, they're all great. Personally, I prefer the hunter schnitzel or also known as jagerschnitzel. A few of my friends had the sausage platter, which they said was tasty but they later remarked that they should have stuck to the schnitzel. Believe the hype, this place is that good. Geniessen!!

Lisa W.

Yelp
Excellent food. Large portions. Enjoyed the pork Knuckle with pickled cabbage- I actually enjoyed sauerkraut to be more tangy/bitter, yet overall very tasty. Tasted better with the dark beer. Will come back again.

Mitch G.

Yelp
The food was amazing. We had the shared platter for two (could really feed 3 or 4) and it was so much food and was so good. You get to try a bit of everything from Germany. It doesn't look like much from outside but it was amazing. I even had some of their home brew beer and that was one of the best beers I have had. Would highly recommend this place.

Julie T.

Yelp
Despite an almost full dining room, the food came out fast. Based on the server's recommendation, I ordered Schnitzel "Apostel Art" Schnitzel vom Schwein bedeckt von gedünsteten Zwiebeln, Speck und Spiegelei an Bratkartoffeln (Pork schnitzel with stewed onions, bacon, egg sunny side up and fried potatoes). He said it was "wow" and I agree... wish the yolk was runnier but personal preference. I ordered the homemade apple strudel for dessert which was served warm with vanilla sauce. Great way to end the meal. About 25 EUR for entree, dessert, small glass apfelwein and bottle of still water.

Di A.

Yelp
We found this little hole in the wall on our first day in Germany, and we love it! This place is very local and lots of people are here with large groups of friends. The portions are huge and food is perfect! The meat for the pork knuckle was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Definitely make sure you season it to your tasting. Also try the apfelwein and the beer here. They home brew the beer! Try to make a reservation if you can since they get pretty busy at dinner. But we were able to be seated for 2 people fairly quickly. Highly recommend!

Jackie M.

Yelp
One of the few breweries in Frankfurt. I came here with an open mind as a vegetarian knowing there wouldn't be too many options but I'd get to try some more local fair. The waiter was nice and quickly seated us. He said he didn't speak English well but it was enough to get us to our seats. The dining room is more of a farmy style but that goes well with the idea of beer in Germany. No one is in a rush in Europe like they are in the States. I also didn't feel rushed, even knowing that are table was needed for a reservation in two hours. We were asked what we wanted to drink and we ordered two of the beers from the brewery - which can be seen from the dining room. I feel the dunkel was the better of the two beers and would recommend that one. We ordered Hand cheese (handkäse), Schnitzel, and the eggs/potatoes with green sauce. Hand cheese and green sauce are local to the Frankfurt area so I wanted to try both. Hand cheese is very.... Bad in my opinion but my fiancé liked it. It's definitely one of those "for the locals" dishes. For the green sauce: it's served cold. Not what I was expecting but it was still tasty on boiled eggs and potatoes. The meal here was definitely more for the culture but it's an easy stop for anyone to make to try some local food. I'd recommend this place even if I didn't love everything that was local. Hospitality goes a long way!

David W.

Yelp
Ok place and reasonably priced. The rumpsteak was delicious. However, the spaetzle was very bad. It was undercooked and had no seasoning whatsoever. I also got the German potatoes. Better than the spaetzle but not like I was used to. This was my first visit to this restaurant so not sure if they were just off on this day or if it is like this on a regular. Our server was great. She was very attentive and polite. I did not tell her my dissatisfaction with the food. I am now curious to know how she would have reacted. My companions had schnitzel and were satisfied. Try somewhere else if you can but if you are hungry for German food go to satisfy a thirst.

Kelly S.

Yelp
Our hotel suggested this and wow it did not disappoint! The service was delightful the beer , oh my, the food... yesss!!

Kath S.

Yelp
This was recommended by coworker since it's just very close from our hotel. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce and homemade noodles since I don't eat pork. It was really good and moist but a little salty for me. I only ate half of my food. The serving was just big for me. For dessert, I really enjoyed the homemade apple struddel with vanilla sauce and and vanilla ice cream. The dessert was my favorite.

Jenna W.

Yelp
Awesome place to have my first authentic German food experience! I ordered the schnitzel and it was delicious. The outside crust layer was crispy and had a good seasoning. The meat itself was a tad dry, but the green dipping sauce included with the dish helped make it more flavorful. Potatoes were also included with the entre and they were fantastic. They were soft and buttery, with a sprinkling of bacon on top of them. Atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and welcoming. We sat at the outside tables and were able to enjoy our meal and talk without too many people walking by or the streets being loud. Staff was very friendly and willing to answer our questions about the parts of the menu that were in German, as well as make sure our food was out in time for us to catch our flight. Great experience!

Kim V.

Yelp
We chose this place because it was close to us and had good reviews. We got there on the earlier side for dinner (around 5:30pm) as we read it gets busy quickly. Which it did. One of my German friends recommended the grune sobe (sorry for not having the right keyboard to write that correctly), which translates to "green sauce" that is a mixture of 7 herbs in a yogurt sauce. I tried it with the Frankfurt schnitzel (with potatoes), while the bf had pork knuckle. The schnitzel was very well cooked and it paired very nicely with the mild sauce. The pork was pretty good, but the skin was cooked beyond our ability to cut through it, much less attempt to chew it. There are 2 floors here, which is nice, as there is more seating than first meets the eye. Our server moved us from a bar stool table to a regular table tucked in the back. All the other tables had a "Reserve" card on it, so we counted ourselves lucky. Overall, the service was good and the food was good. Definitely would come back again if we are in the area!

Arvin B.

Yelp
Wonderful food, good beer selection and great location. Make sure you have cash, no cards accepted.

Anneke D.

Yelp
I wish I were staying longer in Frankfurt so I could come back here immediately. Our friends brought us to this down to earth restaurant for traditional Frankfurt fare, which meant schnitzel and beer. After a brisk walk along the foggy banks of the Main, this brewery was a welcome haven: dimly-lit, almost entirely wooden, with beer tanks in the back, a bar downstairs, intricate sculptures, oil paintings, small hunting trophies, and staff with smiles all around. You could tell that people frequented this restaurant for its ambiance. But we had yet to discover the food. I started with a small cup of tomato soup with croutons to warm the bones. It was slightly chunky, drizzled with olive oil, and incredibly delicious (my friends couldn't stop themselves from dipping their bread into my tiny cup). I would come back just for a large bowl of that if I needed a pick-me-up. The beer and apfelwein (like French apple cider but slightly more tangy and very, very light) held us over until our schnitzels arrived. Mine was the Jäger schnitzel, a breaded pork cutlet topped with creamy mushroom sauce cozying up to potato cubes fried with lardons. My friends each had the "original" Frankfurt schnitzel, also with potatoes, but with a green herb sauce in the place of creamy mushrooms. We didn't have room to try the dessert, but no matter. I wouldn't have wanted to rid my mouth of those delectable sauces so soon!

Ken K.

Yelp
We had a 10 hour layover in Frankfurt. Took the train to the city center to see some sites. We walked into Zu den 12 Aposteln for lunch before returning for the flight back to the states. Great food, service and German atmosphere. Oh, did I mention the beer?? Awesome. I'd return for sure.

Scott H.

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner here on our first trip to Frankfurt. The staff were fun and attentive. The food was outstanding. We ordered the sampler dish for two which was delicious and plentiful. Overall a very authentic experience.

David J.

Yelp
A cosy pub which brews its own beer, and with very traditional decor, a few minutes' walk north of Konstablerwache U-bahn station. It's on a small side-street, so it is a little hard to find, but worth the effort. Despite the mediaeval-sounding name, however, this is a relatively modern venture as a brew-pub. The building has three levels, with the main room on the ground floor, a beer-cellar with stone arches, and another dining room upstairs. They brew two regular beers, one light, one dark, called appropriately enough, Zwölf Apostel Bräu Hell, and Zwölf Apostel Bräu Dunkel. (I'd recommend both.) They also do seasonal beers. The food menu is a mix of traditional, hearty German and Croatian dishes, with a stunningly good choice of set lunch menus for under EUR8 for three courses. The said three course lunch, with beer, was thus just over EUR11 each, including service. Service was friendly and efficient. It seemed deservedly popular with a mixed crowd of friends, business types and shoppers.

Mike H.

Yelp
Good food and fast service. We went early without a reservation about 5:45. Seated right away but it did get busy shortly after that. Enjoyed the meal after a long tour day. Definitely recommend. They brew their own beer which is very good.

Brian S.

Yelp
Amazing food. Huge portions. Even huger beers. Got the schnitzel and potatoes and would get again. Dunkel beer was delicious and I could only drink a liter haha.

Jeffrey N.

Yelp
Great place! Go early if you don't have a reservation. Basement was a cool place to eat. Tried the chicken schnitzel and goulash soup. Both were excellent!

Lennart K.

Yelp
I was served a delicious chicken fillet with sauce and garnish. The selection of desserts is also not bad, although my favorite, alas, was not there, but nothing, I tried a lot of new things and remained full and satisfied. Prices are reasonable, staff are polite. Zu den 12 Aposteln from me 5!

Angelo M.

Yelp
Looking for authentic German atmosphere and food this is the place. Quaint and cozy. Hearty portions and great local beer. Had the pork schnitzel and roasted potatoes. Friendly service and fair prices. Highly recommend for those traveling to Frankfurt.

Robin W.

Yelp
Every meal I've had in Frankfurt has just got better and better. This was our final meal of the trip and it was perfect. We sat downstairs in the old fashioned cellar area, and every single meal was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce, and home made noodles. The noodles were thick, not like your standard noodles, almost the same length and width of chips - but made of tasty doughy pasta. The schnitzel itself was massive, and so tender and fresh. The sauce was amazing too, full of whole peppercorns with a distinctive flavour. This was, of course, washed down with their home made beer - which went down a treat. This, along with the great staff, made this the perfect end to a great trip.

Daniel P.

Yelp
Ate here on a long layover flight. I purposely sought out a schweinshaxe. It was good, but the skin could have been significantly crispier. My friends got the schnitzel and it was good as well, but not fantastic.

Cory P.

Yelp
Very good food. Very impressed. We will go back again and it is our solid second favorite place to eat in Frankfurt. (klosterBrau takes the prize) Courtyard outdoor area is big and lots of space. Inside small but normal I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. And service was exceptional which is a bonus in Germany and also sometimes hard to find.

Sam G.

Yelp
Bottom line: allowed my dog to dine with us, not busy at 2pm. Schnitzel and beer were good. Rustic venue. Away from busy stores in an alley. Highly recommend. My wife and I drove up here after picking up my cousin from the Frankfurt airport. We wanted her to have a good first time German meal. We parked directly across the street in the garage, adjacent to the one way street. It was not busy and we were greeted in English. It is a dark and rustic venue, felt very German. We had the schnitzel (jager and Frankfurt) and the potatoes with bacon were good and included as a side. I ordered a half liter hefe and am not disappointed. My dog was allowed in and they even gave him a bowl with water.

Max L.

Yelp
Summary: Nothing special and fancy. Would only go there if you like alcohol (Apfelwein/Beer) and meat. This restaurant is stuck in the 80s. Service: Friendly service. Made us feel well. Everything was okay. Location: A little bit hidden in a backstreet near the central Konsti in Frankfurt. The outside looks like the inside, old fashioned and dark. If I had to write something nice, I would say "I looks like a pub in Diagon Alley, where mysterious wizards hang out with a (butter)beer". But (sadly) I am not a wizard. Food: Hard to find something vegetarian on the menu. I've found to main courses on the last page. Everything was very meat heavy and greasy. The salad by the side was very good, but the main dish (Käsespätzle) and the others choices had very minor aspects of being "fresh and healthy".

Mel L.

Yelp
We took friends from Canada here for lunch last weekend and they totally loved the place. We ordered Jägerschnitzel, Schweinshaxe, Spätzle and the ovenbaked veggie gratin. I had the vegetarian dish which came with broccoli, cauliflower, leeks and carrots plus feta cheese on top. I chose fries on the side. It was quite tasty. The others loved their meat-heavy mains and Junior did also enjoy his Spätzle for which we had ordered some Jägersauce on the side as well. I also tried their beer which they brew on side. It was OK, but did not blew me away. The service was super friendly. Our waitress took great care of us without hovering. Definitely a good place to take out-of-country visitors who want to eat some German food.

Kevin G.

Yelp
Great food here. I ordered the sausage plate which was almost too much for one person. The service was fast and friendly, and enjoyed meeting some of the other patrons at the shared tables outdoors. Very convenient to the Westin and open late. Will definitely return to try the schnitzel which looked good, too.

Brandy S.

Yelp
We came here on our second to last night in Germany to get our last chace at an authentic German dinner. I started off with their Goulaschsuppe (Goulash Soup), and after my husband tried mine, he ordered one of his own. This man HATES soup if that tells you anything! He ordered the dark beer and pork knuckle, and I ordered schnitzel with apfelweine (hard apple cider). Both dishes were incredible! Our server spoke very good English, and she was really helpful and quick. Even though we were absolutely stuffed, we knew we had to order dessert - appleweine kucher with vanilla ice cream. It was amazing. If I lived here, I would come back in a heartbeat. Great atmosphere, food, and service!

Jay K.

Yelp
My go to restaurant in Frankfurt for traditional German food I ate at this restaurant twice on my most recent trip to Frankfurt. The first time I chose to go there to introduce a colleague to traditional German fare. We had a great meal dining outside under the trees. The second time one of my other colleagues scheduled a team meal there (very fitting since there were twelve of us). Both meals were excellent. The house beers were tasty and the food was very good. I had my first experience with white asparagus (spargel weiss) this time. That seasonal dish was served cold, with hot baked goat cheese. Now I know why the Germans love white asparagus so much, it's nothing like the green asparagus. This place has become one of my favorites in Frankfurt and I look forward to returning again and again.

Jennifer Q.

Yelp
So we were visiting from Honolulu and it's very rare to find German Food in Hawaii. We were celebrating my moms 69th birthday and all she wanted was some delicious Authentic German food. Boy were we in for a treat. We ordered the Frankfurt platter for 2 even though we were a party of 3. It was so delicious and enough food for all 3 of use fatties. My human garbage disposal of a husband couldn't even finish the platter. The sauerkraut was absolutely the best I have ever had. We also order a few beers which of course were yummy . If you are ever in Frankfurt don't miss this place it's by far the best food. The service is kinda what's expected nothing exceptional but it was fine cause the food was the star of the show. Oh and make sure you ask for mustard. I almost asked for a shot glass of this stuff it's like heaven in a packet.
