"½ Kilo of Pig Arriving alone and hungry in the Philippines, I checked into my hotel and immediately asked for a dinner recommendation. After some thought by the staff, I was directed to Zubuchon for some authentic Filipino food; but not just any food: Lechon. And not even just lechon, but what Anthony Bourdain suggested is the "best pig...ever." This perfectly prepared pig keeps its moisture generously covered and insulated with a layer of pork belly fat. Unfortunately, for some reason, I was not able to purchase a piece of pork less than ½ kilo. So, that is what I ordered. Perhaps I should have given the menu a closer look and ordered from the selection of "Fast Meals" that appear to be better suited for one. Before I ran off with my ½ kilo of pig, the server suggested I also try a Kamias Shake which paired with the pork better than any wine pairing I have had with a meal! The tart, but not quite sour, beverage brought out all the nuances of the lechon. Back at my hotel, I was unable to stop myself from eating all ½ kilo of meat - and heading to bed that evening completely stuffed. Try the lechon in the Philippines. And make sure you have Zubuchon at least once!"
Service here is superb. Food served quickly, and waitresses are attentive, helping us mix the sauce and coming over to ask how is the food midway through the meal. Loved the halo-halo. Lechon is so-so, i think there are nicer lechon at other places.

Customer service is at its finest. We had a great dining experience. The best shrimp sinigang i have ever tasted. Baked scallops was also good and the chorizo lumpia is a must try. Very clean and spacious. Parking is available nearby. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. There is little shelf for pasalubong too like zubo chon chicharon and a lot more. I would give this resto a two thumbs up!

We were recommended to this chain restaurants. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! We love the buchon fried noodles. However the pork dish did not impress us. It is tasty but a bit hard to chew. But it tasted much more better after been sliced and added some sources.

Hospitable staff, I appreciate the suggestions of the waitstaff and asked us about the tastes of the food. Could have asked for his name for his attentive service... Lechon was tender and the sauce was a good compliment.

This is my first time to visit Cebu, and I had come to this restaurant twice during my 7-day stay here. The lechon is crispy on the outside and really tender and tasty on the inside. The taxi driver we met in Cebu even told us that if you did not try lechon here, you can’t say you have been to Cebu! Recommended!

Since I was alone, I picked one of the solo meals from the menu and ordered Zubuchon Pritchon. I was so hungry and the dish did not disappoint. Meat was tender, skin part crispy, and the saltiness good (for my taste 😌). But what I loved best was the freshly minced onion and tomato they served with the meal which I soaked in their spicy vinegar. It blended well with the meat. The staff was great also, they were very attentive to the point of awkwardness (they asked me how i was enjoying the food, like twice) but I guess that's just the kind of friendly service they offer. The place was clean, well lit, and you know how a place makes you want to eat a lot? That's the kind of place this is. 👍
