Exceptional place!
The vibe is extremely cozy and down to earth, it seems like a restaurant that is frequently targeted by people living in the surrounding area. Prices are super fair and the food tastes extremely well.
We had:
The soup with Fritatten: Nice broth, not to deep/rich, perfect as a starter and for cold days.
Deer Carpaccio: Nice, but tastes the same as the beef one. Also I didn’t get the vision with the fried rucola, but it didn’t taste bad tho.
Wiener Schnitzel: Buttery flavour, tender veal & nice crunch. It came with a side of potato salad which was homemade (I assume), it was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, and I’m from Stuttgart. 10/10
Fassl Pfannl: Juicy pork-filet in a nice sauce, with a “Spätzle” like “noodle”. The “noodles” are baked with cheese. Super hearty and flavourful dish, especially when you’re really hungry.
One thing tho, the service seem to not really pay attention to us. They took quite some time to clear the table and basically never asked if we need anything else. When paying, we had to go to the from although we told the waiter that we’re ready to get the bill.
Overall, 100% recommendation. The food was really good, and we’ll come back.
