A typical German restaurant with a friendly staff. The place has a old tavern atmosphere, with wooden furniture and local ornaments. It's very beautiful. The dishes are typical from Germany. They are well prepared, and the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The staff is kind and helpful.

We tried the baked camembert, schnitzel, and Nuremberg sausages – everything was really tasty and well-prepared. The beer was great, too, and the whole place had a warm, authentic local atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you want a proper regional experience.

We had a lovely dining experience on 21 April. The cozy, traditional German interior created a nice atmosphere. The food was authentic and delicious, with good beer recommendation. A special thanks to the friendly lady who took our order, she patiently explained the menu to us in English, which we really appreciated. Overall, we felt very welcome and well taken care of.

A fantastic dining experience in the center square of Aachen. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The Madagascar schnitzel was very delicious, as was the side of saurkraut. The tomato soup was pulpy, creamy and sweet. All around an excellent time!

Super friendly staff and landlady. She served us with a smile and make us comfortable to dine there. She recommended us the Aachen cuisines which are perfect to taste. Food is fantastic plus with nice German interior decorations. If you want to have German pork leg, they don’t have it. We had Schnitzel Wienerart mit Pommes frites und kleinem Beilagensalat, „Einhorn-Teller", Aachener Sauerbraten in Printensauce and Paniertes Seehechtfilet. They are good and tasty local food. I will surely be there again.

They offer the wonderful Aachener Sauerbraten. We did not have a reservation but they found a place for us.

A very typical German drinking hall on the marketplace. Very busy and the only seat was taken as I was ordering my drink. This meant that I could only stand..in a place that got in other peoples way, so I had to drink very quickly. While my experience wasn't so great I recognise that this is a nice place and would have been an altogether different proposition with a table. I would have liked to take more time with my Frankenheim.
