This has quietly become our absolute favorite spot in Alsergrund (9th district, walking distance from the 1st). Whether it’s a relaxed dinner for two, an evening with friends, or just a weekend beer with a small bite, this place always feels right. It has that rare balance of being a true neighborhood restaurant while also offering a level of quality that easily competes with destinations across the city. The service is consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You feel noticed without it ever being overbearing. The interior has real character. It is thoughtfully designed, full of personality, and adds to the overall atmosphere in a way that makes you want to linger. The food is what keeps us coming back. Honest Austrian cuisine, rooted in tradition, but always with a creative touch and excellent execution. The ingredients taste carefully selected, the preparation is precise, and the dishes feel both comforting and refined at the same time. If you are visiting Vienna and want something beyond the usual tourist spots, this is exactly the kind of place that shows what neighborhood charm here truly feels like, in the wonderful and welcoming Alsergrund neighborhood, the 9th district. And a special mention: not just dog friendly, but genuinely dog welcoming. That makes all the difference. Highly recommended.

An eclectic and very tastefully decorated venue, with warm and informal service, excellent food and a great selection of wines. I would happily return on my next trip to Vienna!

Excellent dinner place. Opens in the evening, even though I have always been lucky to get a sit, its a worth booking in advance. Its warm, tasteful and friendly inside. Their weekly menu is seasonal and always delicious, though I would wish they offered more variety.

Nice place with a good Wiener Schnitzel. However, the Schnitzel was quite expensive and for that, it was not too special. After we were done eating, we did not see our waitress for at least 30 minutes. The atmosphere and ambience is very cool tho!

Tried the pork schnitzel and was really good. Restaurant is a bit random with the art but cool at the same time. Staff was very friendly and efficient serving food and drinks all time.

A creative chef cooking amazing specialties based on local organic produce. Mostly locals, specialty beers.

It was a pleasure to eat here! The food was very tasty, specially Wiener Schnitzel and Kürbis soup. Above all, the waiter was so sweet and kind, she lit a candle for us and even gifted us a flower bouquet at the end ❤️

Nice food, nothing amazing, but we were happy. Really liked our server. Prices are reasonable for Vienna. Open on Sunday, which is a plus when most other places in this area shut down.
