Fantastic traditional brewery and restaurant in the main bar/restaurant street. You can find all traditional dishes and great local beer produced in the brewery. Atmosphere and vibe is as to be expected, whole place is nicely decorated in the same manner. Thumb up!

Visited for dinner as part of a large group on a business trip. Beer was served fast and on a regular basis, just had to put a beer mat on the glass to stop the service. Food was as expected, good but clearly served in high volumes, great choice on menu and some very traditional offerings. Recommend a visit. Beer and food good!

I’ve been to Germany four times and tried pork knuckle in different pubs and restaurants. Unfortunately, this was the worst I’ve had. The presentation was fine, but the meat was extremely loose in texture and very dry. By the way, their home-brewed beer was actually quite good.

Very good food. The atmosphere was friendly and the waiters speak English. The beer was only 2.5 euros per glass and the food was amazing.

Venerable old institution that serves very fine altbier by the half glass - a perfect place for a stolen afternoon slowly sinking beer whilst the time slips away amidst the hum of good cheer and the clink of cutlery on plates. Good food too, who knew salad, fried eggs and fried potatoes can be the perfect lunch?

amazing service from the staff. price was very reasonable and the food was alright. the pork knuckle didn’t impress, but the salad was very good. lots of seating inside.

The best staff and food experience I had in Düsseldorf. I really enjoyed and recommend it.

Pork knuckle and beer were great. Definitely not a tourist trap. Sort of local experience with all the location and vibes.
