Not really a hotel experience - free water in the room but only a noisy terrace for drinks. Breakfast has to be carried across reception and eaten under supervision of the restaurant staff making out their rotas. Staff try very hard to be polite but this is not a relaxing place to stay. The noise from nearby trains wasn't overly loud but did go on all night.

The staff is very friendly and available, the rooms are modern and clean and the food is pretty good

The Schützen restaurant is well known and liked among locals. It's a great choice for fine dining in a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. The menu includes a wide variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. Large wine selection. In the summer, you can sit outside on the large, covered terrace. Friendly and accommodating staff.

They treat hospitality as an art, not a function.

Great food, wonderfully prepared, the portions are also very solid. The service is impeccable, while the wine cellar had live jazz music on the day we came (we heard that's not always the case). A really nice evening for us over there - would absolutely recommend. P.S. The prices are, as I am told by the locals - fair. Not exactly cheap, but also not expensive.

Excellent. Booked online for the same evening, no problem, enough tables. Staff excellent, very attentive and supportive. Cook is great asset, food absolutely delicious.|Upon entry they serve you a fresh roll, crispy, with cold butter aside. Good winelist, many local wines, we tried a pinot noir, super. Asparagus soup a house special of pork filet in a special soucce, with rosti, super tastefull.|Coffees also of good taste, a wonderfull experience!

Polite service and good atmosphere, great quality of the ingredients, we felt how fresh they were. We would’ve love to have another mutschli bread for the salad as well, hope that for the next time

Friendly service, tasty food, wonderful dessert buffet!

This place is for singles, families and business. It has a wonderful outplace and the restaurant inside is very cute. The food is not schicki micki, what i like. The wine cart is a little small. A big plus are the free parking places in the front of the restaurant.

Excellent Swiss cuisine! We had a mix of meals and we all cleaned our plates. Venison is the specialty of the restaurant, but the pork and beef were also very good. The ambiance is very nice, clean, and many locals were dining- always a good sign. Highly recommended.
