Amazing service, friendly staff. Seinna met us at the door and introduced us to our epic waitress Ryan who was so fast and accommodating to our every need. They sat us in this awesome igloo with a heater and a trunk of games. We had another amazing time and will definitely make this a staple of our trips to savannah the food and drinks were amazing and the oysters were so good my wife could not leave them alone before I could get a picture of them

Our Lyft driver recommended this place and it did not disappoint! The food was delightful and FAST, the craft cocktails were festive and delicious, and our server, Benji, gave us the warmest welcome to Savannah. 10/10! AND we got to enjoy a hot spiked apple cider in the fun igloos outside before we left. Could not have asked for a better lunch experience 💛

Zunzi’s recently changed their menu and I am a big fan!! The new fries are phenomenal and go so well with the revamped conquistador. I definitely will miss the house chips but the fries are my new favorite! The service is always amazing and will always be a plus to the overall experience.

We love Zunzibar!!!! It’s the best place to come with friends and have a great time. They have the best seasonal cocktails as well. The Slope Bunny was our group favorite! A mango tango is always a great go to as well.

I have always loved zunzis but very disappointed that in this economic atmosphere they have nearly tripled the prices while substantially (like the sandwhiches are half the size they used to be) decreasing the portions and ingredients. The most recent pictures in these reviews are no longer accurate. As someone who works food service at a great restaurant with managers who respond to issues like these, I hope they address it and turn it around so they stay open! I've seen great business' like this go under because of greediness at the top and it breaks my heart!

Sienna was a top notch attentive server! Margarita was great, food was good! Love the outside heated patio area! Was nice that the manager stopped by our table! Great people!

Incredible EVERYTHING! - Service, food, drinks, atmosphere!!!! Met “SHORTY” walking to work and decided to check it out instead of another place….. and boy, we were NOT disappointed ! The Zunzibar in Savannah has a great outdoor terrace and open air feel. They have refreshing cocktails and a good selection of seafood. They also offer live music and a helpful team. The bar area is hopping and bartenders are friendly. The food experience is average. My score a 4.4.

The food was great. We've been to another Zunzibar before and the food was consistently good. It's a great little chain they've got going. I got the Johnny Chow sandwich. There's so much meat and the different meats really pair well together, the sausage and the chicken curry mix and it's absolutely delicious. Super creative sandwich too. Almost like an Indian cheese steak sandwich, but so elevated. Even the chips on the side are well seasoned and I don't normally like chips. Other great thing about Zunzibar is the sauces. They've got so many options and I loved that the Johnny Chow came with both the curry and the chutney. Only thing is, relative to other Zunzibar locations, this was a bit more of a party vibe/atmosphere, we were here for the food but a lot of people were there for a party / bar vibe. Still had a great time, but was one of those rare occasions we were glad to be sat way off to the side.

Yes, they have food here. Yes, they have outstanding service. However, the only thing I was able to sample during my time here was the Mango Tango - Tequila, Triple Sec, Mango, Lime, Tajín Rim. Just to be sure it was that good I had to try it three times! I love the outdoor space, the restrooms being around the corner work well enough. I see the famous Conquistador is still on the menu. Even though I did not have food this time around it is good to know that has survived Zunzi's evolution through Savannah over the years.

Zunzibar is such a fun, beachy sports bar with bold flavors, great drinks, and tons of personality. We had the Conquistador and Godfather MA sandwiches--both were loaded with flavor and their signature sauces. The wings and Slaap Chip Nachos were also hits. The vibe is super laid-back with frozen drinks, local drafts, live music, and two happy hours a day. Their new cocktail menu is worth checking out, and if you're in the 26 Club, don't forget your Flipcoin--each visit gets you a new one with a shot at free sauce or surprise offers. Big shoutout to our server Cameron--friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Update: shrinkflation hit this place pretty hard. The size of the sandwiches shrunk and the quality has changed pretty drastically. The godfather doesn't taste anything like it used to and they are back to serving the same terrible chips instead of the homemade ones they used to sell. I think this place has new ownership and they have made really bad changes unfortunately. This might've been my last visit sadly.

I liked the old Zunzi when it was just the sandwich stop, the new mix with beach bar vibes and the sandwich - just doesn't make sense to me. Weird setup too - the restrooms are basically on the street and weren't very nice. It seemed like you sat yourself but then the staff jumped on you - wanting to sit yourself outside in the Georgia heat in August! Tbh I thought she was an unhoused person. Aswell for a tourist town why do I have to sign up to your club to receive deals! The sandwich was still great but I don't care for the new concept.

This is one of our favorite spots! Three years ago my fiancé and I had our first date at Zinzis! We always stop by when we are back in town! Last weekend we stopped in for a quick bite and Benji was our server! He was attentive, friendly and made sure we had the best time! The food is exceptional as always plus if you join the 26club you get a discount;) We will always recommend this place to friends that visit savan

We had a wonderful experienced. The managers Amaris ? (sp) and Sam took great care of us, as I need special concessions. The chicken Conquistador was delicious. So glad we made this stop Very fun place to go.

Where every night feels like the weekend. Come on down to Zunzibar, for delicious everything. Brian and Bethany took great care of us tonight. The vibes were right, food was tasty and the music was islandy... feeling like I'm on vacation on an island and I'm still in Savannah. Eat local! Good times!

Excellent wings, tried the wings - hot as shit and curry were delicious. Everyone loved hot as shit but I actually liked the curry one best. Dank is a type of honey mustard, not my favorite but of course a preference. Our waiter "guac king" was great. Excellent patio with great tvs for sports if you like. The bathrooms are a little iffy, around the corner outside entrance. Mistaked one order, made it up with 6 extra wings. They have unlimited wings if you sign up for their club thing. Honestly I dunno if I could do 20 wings to get your moneys worth but if you can, you should. They also have happy hour which is ok. Great spot in the area! (Ps "shit yeah" is like their saying - including a type of sauce. Our waiter said it multiple times, which makes the owners comments on here make more sense haha)

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! We had an amazing experience thanks to our server, Tyson. From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It's rare to come across service this genuine and thoughtful. Tyson truly elevated our dining experience - we'll definitely be back and hope to be seated in his section again!

Such a cute place. Love the decor. There were tables inside and outside. We sat down and were taken care of very quickly. I had a Perfect Pineapple and enjoyed it. I also had chips and guacamole which was good. The cheese dip was out of this world. I wished there were a few more options on the menu for entrees. Other than that, I was a fan.

We've been coming to "Zumzi" for years whenever we visited Savannah. As Zumzi, this used to be a SCAD student and locals takeout sandwich place with a 20? different imaginative, fabulous sandwiches. It moved and it's a very different venue now with at least 4 locations. This is a fun, upbeat, lively place offering the similar imaginative, very good sandwiches, though far fewer choices than we remember. A much larger menu now of bar food besides the sandwiches. Also now a bar with the usual imaginative cocktails, in pastel colors, graced with little umbrellas and plastic cups emblazoned with "Sh*t yeah!" My take: A tourist, business persons, sports bar/restaurant masquerading as a student bar. I can't vouch for the drinks but the beer selection was good but not great. The food was good and generous but not spectacular. The service excellent and young.

What the hell, where do I start. Zunzis is hands down one of the best bar/restaurants in Savannah. The conquistador is to die for, and ash our server was very accommodating and outgoing which made our experience even better. No matter what I'm in Savannah for, zunzis will always be a place that we consider going.

Charged me for an idiot 4 dollar cup and didn't tell me tip was added. I paid 160 dollars for a sandwich and drink.

Small but very interesting menu. The Conquistador sandwich was pretty good! The roll was a bit old and dry but the chicken, sauce, and provolone were delicious. The staff was fast, efficient, and friendly, overall a great to stop for lunch!

Had the salad with three types of meat on it. It was awesome. Service was good and the bar tender made a good lemon drop martini. Highly recommended.

This place is absolutely a must !! The food is out of this world the service is also to notch sour out to Kia and Sara chill atmosphere and fantastic food in the heat of beautiful Savannah GA. Didn't think to take a pic of food lol that is how good it was

Really wanted to enjoy this place with the live music, dog-friendly patio...and only giving two stars because they offer those options. Other than that, four servers walked past us and never took our order, gave us water, or said hey I'm your server and I'll be right with you. Three servers came over to pet our dog and talk about their own pets at length. 30 minutes in and still no one greeted or served us, so we got up and left. Too many good restaurants around to waste our time with poor service.

Our first visit to Zunzibar was fantastic and we will be back! Our server Calista was super friendly and gave great recommendations. We enjoyed our cocktails (banana hammock & dune buggy), chicken wings (limon pepper) and the slaap chip nachos with chicken. The vibes on the patio were fun and Calista also helped us sign up for the 26 Club rewards program & explained all the benefits.

We had the best time at Zunzi's on Tybee last night. The homemade chips and banana daiquiris were excellent (rest of menu looked good too)! There was live beachy music- played at an enjoyable volume- and the wait staff was on top of everything. All great, but the BEST part was that it was an adoption event for local rescues, and there were so many sweet dogs and puppies to pet and love on while hanging out. Perfect way to relax on a pretty Wednesday evening- drinks, snacks and DOGS!

We did a shot ski and were able to sign it. Damion S and Sarah H, the take out manager were really friendly. We had the Johnny Chow sandwich, it was spicy. There is a free shuttle right outside the restaurant to tour the city.

I had Ryan and the Guac King as my servers and they were absolutely amazing. They make the service here top notch their ability to stay friendly and positive even when the restaurant is busy is a quality any company would be lucky to have. Great experience!!

It was a cold day we were on our way to Charleston and stopped by savannah for lunch! We stopped at this restaurant. The indoor sitting areas were full! We sat outside luckily the heaters are on! The restroom is at the side of the building and there is only two stalls. We then ordered our food and the food came fast! Unfortunately due to the cold day, they are out of tea bag for my hot tea! But the hot chocolate with whipped cream is yummy and rich! We also have the godfather, booty call and the fisherman's deck! They are all very delicious and yummy!

Sh+t yeah! We had a fun time stopping in this place while visiting Savannah for my 40th birthday/St. Paddy's day. Our server Gabe was so friendly and attentive and he hooked it ALL THE WAY up! We ended with a group shotski (obviously) and he took care of us well the whole time. Love the DJ's energy, only wish he would have snuck in more hip-hop "oldies". We only had drinks so can't comment on the food but we had a fun experience!

The gauc king and Brittany are the best you can get in service. The dank wings are FIRE!

Such a hidden gem!! This spot is funky, fun, and incredibly tasty. We were on a "hidden gem food tour" and stopped by this place. The cocktails are amazing- I don't typically like rose but the waiter convinced me to try the Frosé and it was great! I ended up getting two of them. As for food, we had their famous chicken sandwich and were in love. The bread was the perfect texture, the sauce was flavorful, and the chicken tasted very fresh. Would highly recommend stopping by!

I love Zunzibar for happy hour! $1 wings - peri peri is my favorite! A little bit of spice, but not too much. The conquistador is always a go-to. Roasted chicken on a fresh roll with parmesan cheese and their special sauce ... yummy! I also love their sweet tea, in not your traditional southern tea. We went in a hot summer day, there's tons of fans and shade to keep it cool. We didn't have a cocktail, but all of their drinks are half off during happy hour!

We live outside of Savannah but we go downtown to eat a few times a month and Zunzibar has been one of our favorite spots to visit since it was a hole in the wall place that only had outdoor seating. Our whole family loves it. We can usually get a couple of conquistadors and a fisherman's deck and feed our whole family of six. The service is always fantastic. We reserved an igloo last winter when they had them and it was so much fun hanging out and drinking hot chocolate and apple cider. We can't wait to do it again this year!

Amy the bartender was amazing. So attentive and nice. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and she made it great. A true example of southern hospitality

Awesome food! I have been trying to leave all the reviews I can tonight based off my notes I have taken through the week and this is my last!!!! Zunzi was so good and I enjoyed it thoroughly

We had lunch there today around 2:30. Wife had a Fishdeck sandwich and I had a Godfather sandwich. Both were very fresh. Wife's was filled with salmon and mine w chicken/sausage. The home made chips were crisp and fresh. Flavors were great and what I remembered from many years ago. Plenty of employees working today that showed an interest in their customers. Restaurant was half full. We sat 'inside', south of where they are working on the bar and another seating area. It was warm and dry with plenty of space for us. All in all a great experience. Definitely a do over; half of both sandwiches made it home and will make a great left over for dinner or lunch tomorrow.

Benji was the BEST!!! The food was amazing, too! Make sure you stop here on your trip!

Zunzibar was our second stop on our wine and true crime walking tour of Savannah and overall I might have had the best cocktail of the night here! The ambiance is loud, bright, and colorful. Kind of like a surfside cabana vibe. Ordering at the bar was very chaotic and I was cut in front of several times which was a bit frustrating. I think the bartenders were a bit overwhelmed which didn't help, but I will say the drink turned out great once I was able to be served. This is definitely a very specific vibe so I'd recommend this place for parties, or a fun happy hour. If I lived in Savannah or came back I'd definitely consider stopping by again!

Checking out a new spot in HHI... refreshing.to have something different. Great drinks, great food and great atmosphere....thank you for ample fans and tvs outdoors so we could enjoy it while it would have otherwise been unbearable

Not a fan of the food, but gotta give them so much love for their staff, ambiance in igloos, live music, drinks and fun! We were there in the off season and I think the only table that night and had a blast!

I recently came in for drinks with some friends and we had AMAZING service by Dee from the moment we walked in. He instantly found us a table, got water for our dog, took photos of us in front of the picture wall and offered some of the best suggestions for food and drinks. Can't wait to come back in for more good times! We really enjoyed seeing employees that actually had fun at work and enjoyed each other. All the staff was really welcoming and friendly.

We stopped here for lunch after a walking tour and it was soooo awesome. We both had the conquistador on pita and it was so good. Our server was excellent as well.

Mid food and the dank sauce is trash. Drinks are good and they have the good ice. Live music and vibes are good though.

We visited Savannah and came to Zunzibar for happy hour drinks (1/2 priced drinks and $1 wings during 5-7 pm). My boyfriend ordered the King Tide cocktail whereas I ordered the Hot 'Rita margarita. Both were good, strong drinks. I asked for my Hot 'Rita to be extra hot and the bar delivered! Our waiter was attentive and kind. Drinks were great. Music and ambiance were great. We went at the start of 5 pm so we didn't need to wait in a line. But the tail end of happy hour, more people arrived. Honestly, this was the second time we visited this place during our 4-day vacation here in Savannah. I would highly recommend the affordable drinks!

Absolutely love this place!! Lilly our server and Sarah the bar manager were absolutely amazing and made my last night in Savannah absolutely amazing! Great prices and great drinks would definitely recommend stopping by!!!

Zunzibar is our go-to when meeting up with friends for a casual day out. Also family friendly and very dog friendly with their huge patio! Love that they have healthy options on their menu (bowls/salads) for when we feel like we want something lighter. Drinks are amazing- can't go wrong with any of their frozen drinks or margs.
